Perfect campsite, perfect setting, perfect facilities.
Just the right amount of wild camping with the amenities to make it totally comfortable.
River swimming and friendly chickens are a bonus

Cheap, beautiful, friendly, proper fires allowed (and all the right equipment free of charge) great river noises, super-but-simple facilities without rules everywhere.
Makes you realise that camping in England is a complete and utter crowded rip-off.

Beautiful campsite, very convenient for Brecon and shops, food etc.
Susie was very accommodating, as we had to rush off and return to pack down our tent.
We would definitely return

Stunning pitch on a beautiful piece of land with well organised facilities.
BBQ and firepits every night, sounds of the river and tall trees for that wind protection.
10 mins walk from the great little town of Brecon, fishmonger, butcher and grocers in the market for great BBQ food.
15 min drive to the start of the Brecon Beacons mountain trails.
Couldn't get much better! We'll be back :)

Visited Priory Mill many times and have always had such a lovely break.
Perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. Love the relaxed atmosphere,
It’s a quiet spot that’s not too far from Brecon, but far enough away to enjoy nature and everything this beautiful site has to offer.
The facilities are super clean. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay. Stunning site with wonderful amenities. Gorgeous to listen to the River as you fall asleep and so convenient with a 10 min walk into Brecon town.
The added bonus of a fire pit is wonderful and the kids loved the bottoms seats! Even had books for you to borrow, they really have thought of everything!
Only thing I will say, is as great as it is to be able to charge phones etc, you have to be very trusting to leave them in an unlocked no door area… perhaps this could be something to think about? I would of happily paid a few pounds to have a locked area for this service.
As with teenagers. As much as they loved camping. They still need to be able to speak to friends. But that would be my only issue with the site.
Lights off in toilets and showers at 10:30pm was not a problem at all as we had headlights so it was fine! I would come back in a heartbeat! It was nice to not have young children running around and was so peaceful.
Thank you again for such a wonderful first weekend camping trip! The Kellands

This campsite is a little gem. This was my 5th visit and I will continue to return. The location is so quiet, pretty and so close to the town. Waking up to chickens around the tent is an experience in itself, so cute.
It’s a campsite with lovely little touches such as logs made for seats and fire pits free of charge (wood can be purchased from the friendly owners).
Facilities are always so clean with an area for recycling your rubbish.
Had a lovely weekend and can’t wait to visit again.

What a gem of a place. No electrics but that didn’t detract from our stay in our campervan.
Quiet, well run and eco responsible campsite with babbling river and wildlife galore to remind us of another world beyond work and Covid.
We will be back.
Woodland walk into town was delightful.

I had a really wonderful time. Camped right by a running stream which was lovely.
The amenities are excellent and the feel of the campsite is friendly and relaxed.
I definitely plan on coming here again.
