This is the perfect campsite if you want traditional camping.
The owners were friendly and helpful, the toilet and shower block were simple and clean and you can also burn wood or charcoal in one of their fire pits.
It was quiet and very peaceful camping by the river and very handy for great walks in the Beacons or along the river.
Our teenage boys appreciated the phone recharging point and we also used the book swap.
We’ll be back hopefully!

Walking distance to the town. Lots of walks from the site.
Fire pits to enhance your camping 🏕️
Hot showers. Washing facilities.
The most chill campsite you could hope to stay in.
Eco friendly too👍

The location of this campsite is ideal - 10 minute walk from Brecon town. The site itself has lots of small details which are really appreciated - the wheelbarrow to help move the complimentary log stools, fire bricks and fire pit.
The facilities were brilliant, clean, warm showers (50p for 4 minutes - I indulged in an extra 4 mins!)
There is ample space and with the option of pitching right next to the river there are very few campsites I've experienced which brings you so close to nature.
We will return, if not for everything described above but for the breakfast offered on site which we missed this time round!

Situated by a lovely running river. The chickens running about were a delight.
A small campsite which I prefer. Clean toilets and showers.
Plenty of great walking nearby.
I will definitely be back!

The campsite was very picturesque and quaint. The cottages and old Mill were beautiful. I enjoged the wandering chickens and the sounds of the river which runs along the campsite.
There was plenty of room to pitch our tent and toilet/shower facilities were conveniently located. Lights and hot water in these facilities shut off around 10. 30-11pm which can be inconvenient, and the staff were often absent, but their time of return is clearly marked on the cottage doors and if you bear this in mind when you plan your arrivals/ departures/ showers/ requests it isn't a real problem.
Firepits and fuel were available to purchase as well as tree stumps to sit on and clean drinking water. The pitching area was well landscaped and lovingly decorated.
The other campers were friendly and the atmosphere was very calm and serene. It would be great to pay per tent rather than per person, but my friends and I enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this campsite to others.

Awesome place, can't beat sitting by a fire after a day in the mountains. Also a great place to watch the stars.
Never too busy and plenty of space with a beautiful river flowing through.

Gorgeous little campsite with friendly owners and chickens!
Facilities were clean and well maintained.
We camped right beside the river and which helped soothe us to sleep after a busy day walking in the Brecon Beacons.
