This was a superb site nestled in a valley beside the steam. It was very quiet (though during the day there was some road noise but by evening this was all quiet) and only a short walk into Brecon.

The owners were extremely pleasant and couldn't do enough for us. Eggs were available and so we're fire pits, wood and charcoal, all reasonably priced (fire pits are free to borrow).

Loads of walks possible and for the truly crazy people, it makes a good base for an early morning run up Pen-y-Fan and Cribyn.

This is a site which doesn't allow dogs due to some previously upsetting the chickens that are free roaming and only children over 13.

The campervan area is at the far end of the site, so a longer walk to the toilets and showers. It can only take small campervans due to a very tight hairpin corner when entering the site.

Facilities were very good. 2 showers, 2 women's toilets, 1 men's toilet and urinal, separate wash basins, washing up sinks, covered seating, information shed, charge points, freezer for ice blocks, fire pits and grates, wooden seats, full recycling facilities and on and on. Loads packed in and kept superbly clean

This is not a site you will be disappointed with. We will be returning again!

A lovely quiet site with only the basics available, making it much more relaxing than busier sites with loads of unnecessary facilities.

This is my second visit and it won't be the last. Easy walk into Brecon too for shops and the tourist things.

If you want a kids park, barking dogs and and on-site bar then you'll be disappointed but if you're after some peace and quiet in nature with lovely views then you can't go wrong here.

Peaceful campsite right by flowing water, long and thin, can’t park next to tent which looked nicer and kept the grass nice.

Back to basics with fire pits and a shelter.

Showers need 50p but adequate and clean.

Living calm ambience with no late nighters.

Only downside is we were in a vw van and van area a long way from toilet and shower block at night.

Good idea to book a table if you look for food in Brecon!

Very peaceful campsite with a brilliant location for a short walk into the centre of Brecon town.

Facilities were clean and the owners were friendly and helpful.

Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect site, lots of really thoughtful features like fire trays free to borrow, log stools free to borrow, very reasonably priced fire wood,

Details of walks from the site,

Charging stations, freezer.

All amenities well kept and clean.

Also, as a female, solo camper I felt very safe at the site.
