This is the third time I've stayed this year. It's a handy 10 min walk from Brecon but is surrounded by trees and has a river running through it.
Each time, there has only been 8 tents max which means plenty of space apart. Toilets and showers are very clean.
Will go again in August.

Lovely site, friendly, clean, just what I wanted, would use again.
The setting by the gently babbling river was a nice touch and the chickens roaming around were entertaining too.

Fantastic campsite, beautifully idyllic with amazing facilities fixtures.
Just watch out for the bold chickens in the morning hunting for breakfast snacks!

Beautiful campsite in a tranquil setting by the river, yet only 10 minutes walk into Brecon.
Facilities are very clean and well cared for, and the soothing chuckle of the water is a constant joy.
Stopped for a coffee break this morning whilst packing up and saw the brilliant blue flash of a king fisher, a heron waiting for his breakfast and a dipper skimming along the stones

A very well equipped and organised campsite. Everything catered for (mobile charging/freezer for cool box ice blocks/ recycling/ excellent showers (remember your 50 pence pieces) /tourist information/ free range chickens-eggs).
Instructions /campsite rules were clear and everything was effectively communicated. L
Ovely location close to the town centre and babbling river. Close to a busy road, however easy access to the road and other areas of interest -on the plus side!
Excellent pre-visit communication /information and a plentiful supply of ideas for things to do in and around Brecon for the visitor at the campsite.
Both the hosts and other guests were friendly and considerate. Even the weather was good!
Would recommend.

Lovely campsite, quiet and near a stream and woodland. A short walk to Brecon town.
Has a gang of marauding chickens to provide entertainment.
Would love to come back.

This is the most beautiful and well run campsite I have been to in the UK.
The location is stunning beyond belief, the old water mill and house have been renovated so sensitively and the little out buildings for the campers are done to be subtle and eco friendly while serving needs perfectly.
The river that runs along the camping site is icy cold and crystal clear making for a glorious (but very quick) swim. The owners are lovely humans and their little dog is super sweet and friendly, it's even nice to the chickens!
The site is so thoughtfully put together, the owners have thought of every little detail from fire pits to kindling, undercover food prep area, local guides etc.
Walking distance from town in just 10 minutes. I could go on and on and on.
A really very very good place to camp. And reasonably priced! which it needn't be given hoe exceptional it is.
I'll be back (every year as long as I live!)

One of the best campsites we've stayed in. Its a small campsite located in a very quiet area by the river, easy walking distance into brecon and short drive to lots of hikes /trails.
The campsite has the perfect balance between having all the amenities that you would need but still makes it feel like wild camping.
The showers/toilets etc were always clean. We really appreciated the logs to sit on and fire pits that were provided.
The owners were really helpful with giving us advice on local walks.
Overall it was a stress free, enjoyable camping experience, we will certainly return again.

I stayed at Priory for just one night on a cycle tour of Wales.
I was greeted very warmly by Noel the owner who despite me arriving earlier than recommended(I was unaware). Welcomed me and showed me around.
The campsite is actually amazing. Quiet and peaceful with a beautiful surroundings with a river running right by.
The facilities are rustic but so well maintained and fits in so well with Noels ethos of sustainable living. Awesome and high;y recommended.
