May 2004 Spent the late May Bank Holiday at this site. Pitches are well laid out with plenty of room. Staff helpful and small well stocked shop. Two playgrounds which kept our two amused for hours - they didn't want to leave. We were right next to one of the playgrounds and there was a bit of a problem with older children being noisy until 10.30, the staff asked them to be quiet but they waited a few minutes and returned. Only a minor niggle and on the whole were very pleased with the site and would return. Shower/toilet facilities clean and there is a large bathroom.

Aug 2002 We really enjoyed our stay here. We were pitched overlooking one of the play areas so we could keep an eye on the kids while relaxing. We found the site nice and quiet with a very clean toilet block and showers, although showers needed 20p token ( available from the shop ).There was a pool table, table tennis and table football available in a barn for the kids but this was situated outsided of the barrier to get into the site and quite separate from the pitches.

August 2003 Great campsite. owners friendly and helpful. Shop open everyday until 7pm and very well stocked. Calor gas agent. Kids loved the playareas. Toilet block very clean so didn't mind 20p for shower. Moorsbus into Helmsley (and other areas) stopped right outside site. Would go back again.

July 2003 Perfect for kids -- two play areas and a large field [we didin't see the the kids for hours] A quiet peaceful site. Owners very friendly. Shop sells a wide range of goods from toys to fresh burgers, magazines to wine - even kites. Toilets and showers were immaculate. With two kids i will be booking again soon and have recommended this site to some of my friends and family.

July 03 Nice site, stayed in the Rally field, decent size pitches. Toilet facilities are good though they do sting you for 20pence for a 5 minute shower. Well stocked shop, plenty of choice of beer and wine!

June 2003 Really liked this site, there are several segregated areas rather than one large one. We were very lucky to get a pitch as we didn't pre book. The owner bent over backwards to accomodate us which we really appreciated. The shop closed at 7pm on the Saturday we were there so I suggest checking times when you arrive. The play areas kept the kids amused for hours and there is space for rounders etc. The 'tennis court'? area that we were in had sizable pitches and there was plenty of room for our 9 berth tent. Excellent site, facilities, staff. Kids under 10 go free. Suggest watching somebody play crazy golf first as the course is delapidated so don't take it too seriously, but my son still enjoyed it and thought it was quite funny. Still worth the 60p for 2

13/14 June 2003 Kids loved it - 2 play areas which kept them amused for hours. Park closed at 10pm which was good as it meant the site was fairly quiet at 10:30pm each night. Microwave cost 10p for a few minutes. Showers 20p token, hairdriers cost 20p token, but you needed quite a few as you didn't get long to dry your hair. Shop was open until 9pm on the Friday but closed at 5pm on the Saturday, I would suggest you check on the morning what time the shop is going to close, as you obtain tokens from the shop. Toilet/shower area was very nice and clean, there was also a bath. Staff were very nice. Overall a very nice site which cost £11 per night (without electric).

July 2002 Nicely laid out site very secluded and off the beaten track. Two good play areas, indoor table tennis + table football and a small (very old) mini-crazy golf. Very nice/clean toilet blocks although tokens needed for the showers (20p per token). Well equipped shop.Pitches quite small and prices start at £10.00 (without elec) high season.
