I was travelling with a small rib/boat on a trailer and asked if they had a slipway on site that I could use before booking and I was told yes they had
On arrival I asked again at reception and was told the warden would show me, I asked the man and he said we don’t have one here it’s on our other site ???
When setting up I heard a lady telling another warden that they had travelled 3 hours and paid for a riverside pitch
To which she was told there were non left
Seems they just say yes to anything to get you to book
Which is a shame because it is a nice site in a lovely area with very clean toilets showers
Well kept grounds and a very nice bar with outside seating and good children's park/play area
£39 a night with electric is still a bit strong though if they don’t provide the things you ask for when booking
I left a day early to find a place to launch my boat with no offer of any refund
Ps I believe riverside pitches cost more but even if you pay you may not get one

Wow!
We are travelling from New Zealand for 6 months (in our 5th month). With all the campsites throughout England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, this site gets our best review!
Fab facilities.
Great friendly staff and the water taxi into town was great icing on the cake:-).
Loved it!

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting Stratford and the area.
The touring site is pretty much surrounded by statics and glampers, and we got the definite impression that the touring area is being relentlessly squeezed, a look over google earth historic views shows this.
The facilities block, whilst regularly cleaned and maintained and more or less always presentable is nevertheless in need of some serious updating if the site is expecting to continue offering touring pitches.
So… welcome pack, escort to pitch, 10 amp supply, grass mowed, regular warden patrols, yep it’s ok and we’d probably stay again if we’re ever back this way in the future.
There’s an on site pub, restaurant and event space available for the entire site, and alhough we didn’t actually use any of it, it looked the business.
The real gem is the water taxi, only a six seater which runs about every 40 minutes from site to a mooring near the bridge into town. Cheaper, much more entertaining and nicer than the bus we thought.

We took advantage of the four nights for the price of three deal which is excellent value
Nice site all grass, the touring site has been reduced in size due to lots of new static vans being added
Had a lovely pitch and they have a really good system of putting all continental vans on one row so your doors are not opening onto another unit
The facilities are very clean although dated. The rubbish area is large covered skips which were very full and can be difficult to lift
The pub on site was closed for two of the days we were on site so we did not visit it this time but it seemed to offer a good menu and had a lovely large outside seating area
Lovely walk to the Welcombe Memorial which you can see from site, also an easy walk along to road into Stratford which we did on Thursday so the town was much quieter than on previous weekend visits
Tiddington is a lovely little village with an excellent Spar shop, a pub serving food, a chinese restaurant and take away, an indian restaurant and take away and a small Tapas bar (not open during our stay so not sure it is still in operation)
A great site for motorhome as plenty to do within walking distance

Beautiful location by the River Avon. Site was very well kept, spotlessly clean facilities, and well maintained pitches.
Also, very peaceful (apart from a couple of happy dogs, one of which went on for a few hours in one of their lodges that had obviously been left behind whilst it’s owners went out).
Had a lovely meal at the Muddy Oar in the Riverside venue. Walked into Stratford for the Jubilee celebrations - about 30 minute stroll.
The only let down was the all- sports court which was very small.
Would have happily stayed longer and will definitely be returning.
