This is our 6th visit to the site due to location in Stratford. Would say clean site but its all Rules rules rules, you cannot even use a wind break nearing the end of Sept to cook outdoors. The children were told off for rolling a ball within the touring field yes I mean roll to a toddler (even when lots of empty pitches) Strict leave on the dot rules or you will have the little golf cart waiting at your caravan (this was 20mins late)and get the nightly fee charge. Also if you are with the camping and Caravan club ask for the 10% discount that you should have.

We had a week mid august. We had warm welcome shown our plot and advised of all amenities which was very close except for club which was a 10 mins walk which we didn't mind. Toilet area was constantly being cleaned during the day. I found the showers on the poor side constantly having to press the plunger. I must say I only tried one as others was occupied so I opted for disabled as I am partially disabled the disabled shower was great. My wife said her showers was ok.
The site was lovely and flat and appeared well drained. We were 30mts from cafe toilets and river boat how handy is that a pleasant well maintained site. And well used. Over the river is statics and lodges well worth a walk round. The club only had a turn on sat evening. There is a childs park outside the club the beer prices was good. There was a pub + bus stop in village 20 mins walk. Or stratford 30 mins walk (slow). Or a river ride for £1-50.
Many things to do in Stratford, Warwick castle is great, Leamington spa, heritage car museum. Absolutely loads to do and to be entertained by. That is at a price as it is everywhere is. Yes I did do the ultimate and have the 99p breakfast I also had the apple pie and custard at £1-50 no not for my breakfast. The cafe was handy if you didn't want to cook.
A lovely site with very pleasant staff.

Just spent a long weekend here and were delighted! Pitches were flat and well maintained and although we were not next to the river we were quite glad as there were a lot of Canada geese which made quite a mess! Used the river taxi several times and found it superb, the drivers were lovely, but agree that they finish too early, last one back 5 o'clock.
Breakfast was excellent, we had a takeaway three times, my husband doubled up and without extras it still only cost three quid!
Five minute walk into Tiddington village, pub old and friendly, food good. Spar shop next door and Indian and Chinese restaurants across the road which both did takeaways.
Will certainly return, found the campsite and the whole area had lovely ambience.

Received a warm welcome from the staff and were quickly guided to a nice level grassed pitch, with hook up. Sadly we were not near the river, but the site does have a fair few pitches that virtually front the river if you are lucky enough to get one! The toilets were well kept and very clean, with ample hot water and plenty of showers so no queues in the morning! Lots of children on site, and there is a good play ground for them as well as plenty of room to cycle etc. We walked into Stratford along the busy main road, it is level and about a twenty minute walk past some fantastic houses. Also used the river taxi, and like other reviewers only wish it ran later! For visiting this area, I think this site is really well placed and very well kept. We didn't sample the famous 99p breakfast this time. Maybe next time!

Stayed for one night then moved onto the rally field for a further 2 nights at this site. There is one large toilet block for the entire site, it is kept very clean but I did feel it was quite old fashioned in it's decor and could do with sprucing up. The showers are free and plentiful, numerous toilets and privacy cubicles but considering the size of the site, 2 large rally fields and 2 large touring fields maybe an additional toilet block would be a nice addition.
The 99p breakfast is excellent value and extremely popular as you can eat in or take out. There is a club on site with a happy hour, a children's play area and a large dog exercise field but I did feel that a few more doggy poo bins would have been nice as it might encourage people to do their bit and clear up after their dogs.
Stratford on Avon is a 20 min. Walk away, the local village has a Spar shop. 2 takeaways, an off licence and a pub. There is a riverboat taxi which costs £1.50 per person each way and we were told a charge of £1 per dog each way which we thought was a bit excessive so we walked.
We found the site too busy and noisy, it was summer holiday time so lots of children but they did seem to 'pack in' the caravans and motorhomes.
A good location, very clean facilities but not for us as we found it too noisy and too many rules and regulations to adhere to and too many add on costs.

Just returned from this site, and I must say it is the best site we have been to.
Met at reception and taken to our pitch, right next to the river.
The site is very well run and the toilets are cleaned regularly and are very clean, only downfall was the taps in the sinks did not work very well, however the showers and toilet areas were very large, giving ample room.
The cafe was nice, breakfast 99p 1 sausage 1 bacon, 1 egg on toast, however if you had a coffee or tea the price doubled, each additional item cost about 50p, also you could eat in or take away.
Town centre 20 minute walk away, wide range of bars, shops and restaurants, lots of American and Japanese tourists, some places quite pricey.
On the river you can take the small boat from millennium bridge 1-50p to the town, look at the houses and see how the other half live.
Nice club on the next site down, (Same owners)well priced beer.
Overall a very nice place, and I would recommend this place to anyone, we will be back next year.

Second visit, came this time last year not as good second time around, due to only shower blocks and waste disposal been spoilt by caravan club site 5 star camps). Showers poor pressure. Location mint, cafe mint, wardens mint. Shower block needs updating would be a 6 star camp if updated! 1 mile walk to Stratford. Indian restaurant just out side camp a must plus a spar across from Indian plus a good pub. Also a Chinese which I did not visit but looked fab next to Indian. All in all great location but not 5 star facilities.

We arrived at the site having visited last year, so we knew what to expect here, the 99p breakfast being the main draw!
A lovely welcome by the owners, quick check-in and then shown to our pitch, where we quickly set up.
The toilet and shower block are clean and basic. The only thing I would point out is that, when showering, do not hang your towel on the hooks on the back of the door, as these are on the same side of the shower curtain as the shower head and will get soaked. Use the window sill instead for putting your towel / clothes on!
The 99p breakfast comprises 1 egg, 1 bacon, 1 sausage and 1 toast, with the option of a 'Double 99' (2 of each). Any variation to the above costs slightly more (I understand this to be the reason their prices have not varied in 10 years). The cafe also sells basics (bread, milk, etc.) and you can order your newspaper by 4pm the previous day. You can eat in or there is a covered area outside with tables. We chose to use 'take-out' and take the food back to our 'van.
A short ride to the village of Tiddington and you have a pub, which we believe does very nice meals; together with a general store (Spar); Chinese Restaurant with attached Chippy; we believe there to be an Indian Restaurant a bit further along the road too.
Stratford itself is an amazing place and a 10 minute bike ride from the site - a must if you are historically minded, but equally so if you are not! Weatherspoons ('Golden Bee') in Sheep Street is very good value for those on a budget (fish, chips, peas and cup of tea for £2.99!), with nice food and we usually followed this with a stroll along the river - very pleasant in the evening.
All in all, we enjoyed ourselves that much that, after planning four nights here, we stayed another two!
Very pleasant and will return again if in the area.

We were here about 7 years ago but the tourers are now on the other side of the river! So after some confusion we eventually arrived.
Excellent site and very good value. The showers are very roomy which I liked. Last time we were here we walked along the river to get into Stratford but we couldn't this time so just walked along the road a 30 minute walk - and looked in envy at all the posh -and very varied houses. One had a garden full of lavender and you could smell it from across the road.
Even if you like walking, take the river taxi some time from the campsite as it was very enjoyable. But we were a bit disappointed that it stopped running so early -5'o clock I think was the last one.
Stratford was so lovely in the sunshine - so good to see everyone enjoying themselves by the water (is it all canal or part river? -I'm not sure - I know some of its canal).
We walked to Anne Hathaways Cottage which was probably a 4 mile round trip which was to be recommended.
My partner recommends the 99p breakfast he had from the cafe! But any variation on the breakfast cost a bit more than that so if you are from Yorkshire and like value for money like us then ask the price first! Good on them though for making a success of their little cafe and providing a popular service.
Will definitely be going again.

In June we had a few days here and it is a lovely site, well organised and the 99 p breakfast is worth a try, we had a takeaway and sat in the comfort of our own caravan to eat. The river boat takes you into the town centre and is a nice journey, very friendly lot, the town market is worth a visit. The showers are good but we had to queue and wondered what it might be like in the peak season. We also found we couldn't get a TV signal, not even with our 80 CM dish that we use in the south of France so I think its best to ask for a pitch where they know you might have a chance of getting a signal if you really want TV. A lovely site and area to visit.
