Best thing about this site is it's proximity to Stratford- upon-Avon and there is the added bonus of the river taxi at £1.50 a trip which takes you right into the centre.
Quite regimented in that you have to park in a certain place facing a certain way but plenty of room. Toilets & showers very good.
We had the bargain 99p breakfast from the cafe on site but note that if you want any extras such as mushrooms (tinned),two slices of bacon or even just a cup of tea or coffee then the price rises quite a bit! Most people were getting takeaway breakfasts to take back to their vans to have with their own tea & coffee so that's the best option.
Didn't use the club house - not into Bingo, horse racing & kids running around but it looked OK if you like that sort of thing.
Quite expensive but I think that's the price of being so near to Stratford.
Outside there is a nice pub serving good food at decent prices and a Chinese - expensive & we had a meat hotpot that had no meat in it, it was OK they said they wouldn't charge us for it! so wouldn't recommend that.
We cycled into Stratford on the river side path, it took about 20 mins.
All in all a good site that I would recommend.

Just returned from a weekend break to the riverside, have a had a wonderful break and the weather was like summer even though it was early April. We arrived and following a easy check in was escorted to our pitch we were given a brief informative chat about the site and its facilities. We found the staff friendly and informative, however we felt the pitches could have been a little wider as we seemed too close to the vehicle next door.
This is a minor thing in comparison to what the site has to offer in good clean toilets etc and a cafe which if you didn't want to cook breakfast did a 99p one there. We took a river taxi from the site to Stratford and the boat staff went out their way to accommodate 2 adults and 2 golden retrievers (these boats are very small and accommodate 7 humans!)
Stratford was a lovely place to visit very busy we sat and and had some liquid refreshment in the beer garden situated adjacent to the river, unfortunately we were told we couldn't eat outside there but we were welcome in the 'Bear' with the dogs. We had a lovely Sunday roast and the staff were friendly and the dogs were I am glad to say very well behaved under the table. We will be back !

This is a fantastic site the pitches well spaced and the 99p breakfast is great. The river taxi is a must, a very tranquil journey in to Stratford on Avon. If you fancy a stroll into Stratford its about a 30min walk, that's walking towards club house then going out on to main rooad that way. There is a bus service from Tiddington but unsure of times.
The site facilities are kept to a very high slandered and there is always someone around if you need help. If you fancy a meal out with a difference we would highly recommend the Thai kingdom which is on the Warwick road. Not to be confused with the Thai boat on the river in Stratford.

This is a great site to explore Stratford and the surrounding area including Warwick & Leamington Spa. Not sure if it was because we stayed at the end of the season, there were plenty of people there, but the site just seemed devoid of any character or charm. Even thought the site was not full all units seemed to be on top of one another. If we had put up our awning there would have been very little space to sit out.
We felt the whole site resembled as very efficient clean and tidy caravan storage facility it was so unimaginative. There are no shrubs or hedges to break up the landscape of what is a very large site.
The site is big on rules. I got chastised for speeding whilst the warden was checking we had paid for late stay. I did think afterwards that the buggies they dart around in were probably going more than 8 mph.
Overall very good value for money, does what it says on the tin

Very nice friendly site, an excellent base for touring Stratford either by foot or river. A warm welcome upon arrival and we were asked if we were C&CC members before we even had chance to mention it to receive our 10% off. Quite busy when we arrived, but still a pleasant pitch convenient for the river (we took canoes) and the ablutions. The river taxi service was good, and the drivers were most friendly. Enjoyed a breakfast on site most days, although had to abstain a couple of times for the sake of the arteries. Ablutions were kept very clean and the showers provided plenty of hot water as well as (unklike many) having plenty of space in which to get changed. An ideal camp site for those with their own canoes as there's a good slipway on site which is free to use (don't forget that you'll need a river licence - available from the chandalry in Stratford, or alternatively become a member of the British Canoe Union, in which case you're already entitled to use hundreds of miles of inland waterways) Will definitely go again.

Lovely site, only downside was the long grass on the site, due to overnight rain it was impossible to go in and out of our motorhome without leaving a trail of mud and grass inside( yes we did remove our shoes). Veggie breakfast was a disappointment at £2.50 as it only consisted of beans, tomatoes, toast and mushrooms compared to the 99p one. That said it was still good value.
This was our second visit this year and still found lots to do. Took the river-taxi into Stratford several times not so busy this time as first time was school holidays. The Butterfly Farm in Stratford whiled away a couple of hours also lots going on round and about, there seemed to be entertainment of allsorts in the parks. Did the 'tourist' thing on the open-top bus, well worth it. All in all two good long week-ends

Just returned from a lovely week at Riverside. On arrival you are met and taken to your pitch, everything explained and shown along the way. A very nice clean and well kept site. The toilet/shower block is also kept spotless and plenty of hot water! The only downside were the taps on the washing up sinks very slow. The site was quiet while we were there but the children had gone back to school! The river taxi was also good, worth the £1.50 per person each way, just to look at the lovely properties along the river, then we had a nice walk along the road to the town about 20mins and looked at the properties at the front. (Nosey or what!) Well the breakfast was great, where can you get egg, bacon, sausage and toast for 99p! can have it to take-away, but I'm not spoilt so no breakfast in bed for me! You can even order a newspaper to pick up from the cafe. The ladies in the cafe are nice and friendly. Just down the road is a little village, the pub serves very nice meals, and the chinese take away was good too! You also have the site clubhouse a bit of a walk but you can use the bowls club by the site entrance. I would recommend this site and hope to go back again!

I just had two nights at this site over the weekend and would generally recommend it, especially for it's location. Don't miss the nearby village of Alveston - it's really pretty. I would recommend the 99p breakfast, although how a breakfast can be 99p and a bacon sandwich £2.50 beats me! (Well, you live and learn.)
A word of warning though - this site does not accept tents or windbreaks! This put me at something of a disadvantage as I only have a small camper van and use a windbreak to shield off the wind-out awning when I'm alone or having a short stay, and I use a small pop up tent inside the windbreak to put the stuff I can't have in the van when it is set up for sleeping! I was told that windbreaks are banned due to fire safety but I have never heard of this before!

A brilliant site. Situated just a mile or so outside Stratford-Upon-Avon and right on the riverside!
A warm and efficient welcome awaits you and you are taken to your pitch and told about all the facilities on offer. All grass pitches but seem well drained and very level.
Large central facilities block, cleaned very regularly and were therefore spotless. Plenty of showers and toilets and an indoor laundry and washing-up area.
There's an on site cafe, which opens most days at 8am for their bargain breakfasts @ 99p or you can double up for £1.98 (which we did and it set us up for the whole day!). They also offer lunchtime snacks, evening meals, cakes and puddings at very reasonable prices. You can order daily papers there too and collect them each morning (no charge for ordering or delivery!).
Stratford is a short (20-30 min) walk from the site via the village road (not too busy) or across the static site, along a very busy road, through a car park and then along the river. The water taxis that the site lay on are fantastic. £1.50 per person each way (bargain) and dogs go free. Friendly drivers and lovely scenery makes them a must.
The local village (Tiddington) is just a 5-10 min walk away and has a good selection of local shops including a Spar and an off licence. It also has a Chinese takeaway (lovely curries!) and an Indian restaurant. The local pub was horrible and I wouldn't set foot in there again. Full of 'chavs' and not interested in having customers other than locals. No dogs allowed inside so no business from me! You can also use the on site club (on the sister site) but again no dogs allowed so no cash passed hands!
Would love to go back one day.

A missed opportunity! Yes all the other reviews are correct, great sites with excellent facilities very close to the town- and the 99p breakfast is a great bargain. We received an efficient and warm welcome by the staff and quickly shown to our pitch. It is very easy to find from the motorway and town. But why lay out campervans and tourers in rows on such a lovely site in a great riverside location. There are no pretty pitches but instead the equivalent of a Tesco car-park, row by row, side by side.
