Excellent campsite, very clean and friendly with plenty of room between pitches (if they are a little regimented in how you park).
The walk into Stratford, around 15/20 minutes, is along a very safe road or you can use the water taxi. We did both and had no problems with either. The guys running the water taxis are very friendly and happy to share their knowledge of the river and the surrounding area.
We didn't use the showers (only stayed for one night to meet up with family) so can't comment but the toilet blocks generally seemed clean and well looked after.
We will return, and stay longer, at this great site.

Visited for three nights and on pitching the 10amp hookup kept tripping, the site maintenance staff were brilliant as it turned out to be the hookup post itself, they hooked us up to the vacant 16amp on next pitch, the site is very big and in nice surroundings, the shower/toilet blocks are very good but I could not get my shower temp right the others in our party got it just right, maybe its me, the cdp/greywater points are excellent and other sites would do well to adopt same, the restaurant is new and the food great, the breakfast we indulged in twice with a good amount and all the tea/coffee and toast you can eat but we have a labrador and dogs are not allowed in so we ate on the balcony, tiddington village 10mins walk from reception has shop/pub/cantonese all good and the pub carpark fee is a pound which you get refunded off your order, the food is excellent and reasonable, the staff are very friendly and dogs are allowed in the bar area so we ate in the bar, we will be going back next year as we plan to see Stratford town, it was packed as it was mop fair week and the streets were full of fairground rides etc, and I want to get some fishing in on the sites free fishing stretch of the avon.

We have just visited this site, and must say we really enjoyed it. Don't be put off by the website, which comes across as a bit bossy and gave us the impression that the site would be over-regulated.
The welcome we received was excellent and they happily accommodated our request for an early check in.
There is a clubhouse on site serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The village is just up the road with a pub and shop, but of course the main attraction here is the town of Stratford. You can walk it in 20 minutes, catch the bus or, best of all, use the site's water taxi for £2. 00 each way which drops you in the centre of town.
The site has good facilities and there's even dog wash!

Very nice site, pitches where level and the grass kept down. Clubhouse and restaurant is amazing and well above any flood level. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The facilities on site are of a good standard and kept clean all day. The sites water taxi is a great way to get to town, no need to worry about parking and is well priced. Definitely worth a visit, we'll be going back again. The only downside was we had to share our breakfast with the local swan and 7 signets that roam the site very nice indeed

Well there is not more to say than already has been said, spent the last 4 days here and cant fault it at all.
Stratford very nice and well worth the visit, had a river trip also very relaxing,
A must see Warwick castle 20 minutes by car and a great place to visit well worth the money, spent all day looking.
My dogs loved the dog walk and were well worn out walking all the way around it.
First site we have visited with a dog wash didn't try it but what a great idea.
Recommend to every one

We've just spent 3 nights at riverside, it is a really well run site. We had a riverside pitch which was excellent. There is a river bus that takes you into Stratford & only costs £2 each (dogs free). The town has plenty going on with riverboat & canal boat trips, cafe bars, shops, etc. Back on site they have a bar that you can have a drink & something to eat at. You can also fish on the river for free. The only downside to this site is the showers -- in need of update. One more thing another review mentioned about windbreaks, well if they took time to read the information book it does say NO windbreaks

Recently back from my third visit to this caravan site in three years. Excellent site staffed by lovely, welcoming staff which is why I have returned every year. I'm a bit disabled but I was given a pitch as close as possible to the facilities which were kept immaculate. I have used their water taxi in the past and it is lovely way to get in and out of Stratford. I do tend to cater for myself so the local restaurants etc don't really get my custom. I love Stratford and this year used my mobility scooter to go in and out from the town. Millionaire's Row isn't in it - the houses are out of this world. I cheated when I got home and browsed the websites finding out that the latest sale had been for £1. 6 million. Ouch! If you are in any way doubtful about this site take my word for it - you just won't find a better site or nicer, kinder staff. It's a shame that I feel I need a change next year from Stratford but I'll be back.

We had 3 nights at Riverside recently and overall was very happy with the experience. Site staff were very friendly, water taxi to Stratford a pleasant change and the shop / pub / restaurants within walking distance a real bonus ( the Indian was a real winner ). The only downside for me was the slightly tired and not enough shower cubicles and w/c's. This applied to both male and female facilities.

We have just returned from 14 nights stay at Riverside, 7 nights courtesy of UKCampsite.co.uk, we won a competition on here. We could have stayed longer, fantastic site and everyone was so friendly and helpful. On arriving you book in and are shown to a pitch, we were given a choice of a few and decided on one near the 5 a side pitch. They are level and well drained however our only little niggle is that all the pitches are side ways on and in a long line, its just personal preference but we prefer a pitch where you all face in, it feels more sociable but this may suit many people, it doesn't affect the stay or site in anyway. The toilets and showers are clean and warm and even though the site was full we never had to wait there was always cubicles free. There is a washing up room with washing machine(£3 a load), tumble drier(50p) and iron to use. There is even a dog washing machine, having never seen one before it was great entertainment for my boys. A lovely club house selling reasonable priced food, with lots of seating areas inside and out looking over the river. There is a play area and crazy golf for the children and the football pitch at the other end. We found the river taxi very popular and had to wait but it was well worth the wait, the drivers are informative and helpful. No shop on site but the local village has a spar selling everything you need with a cash point and post office a few minutes walk from the site. It is a 20 minute walk to stratford upon avon with lots to do there. The highlight for my boys was the daily visit from an ice cream van touring the site every eve the first week but it didn't return the next week, however there is a machine by the mini golf that for a £1 you can get a whippy ice cream. There is a very relaxed feel about the site and its seems very popular with young and old. Lovely walks in the evening along the river feeding the ducks and geese and the family of swans and her 7 babies. We would definitely return if we are up that way.

Great site ! Easy access by car and a lovely walk along a flat road into the centre of Stratford. Site is very well situated and has some beautiful views of the river and even has a river taxi to town but we didn't use it so can't comment.
We cycled round the site through the statics and touring caravans.
Toilet/showers are very clean and showers hot, only downside is having to press the button every 20 seconds. Otherwise faultless.
Site has a bar and restaurant which looked lovely in a modern building overlooking river, however can't comment further as we didn't use either. There's a playground that my children all enjoyed.
Theres a dog wash located outside the toilet block which I think cost a couple of pounds.
In summary I would recommend this site if you are looking for a site in walking distance to Stratford and I would stay here again
