This is a beautiful site which nestles in a hollow within farmland and is surrounded by beautiful trees and woodland. As the sign says on the entrance, 'it's so relaxing, you won't want to leave'.
Although it is very busy at bank holiday time and in the summer, it never feels over crowded and pitches are of a generous size. It feels very safe and secure. The pitches although not always level are always well maintained. There is a good sized play area with a variety of equipment on wood bark.
Although there is only one shower block it is always very clean with nice good sized showers. There is a games room with table tennis tables and a snooker table adjacent to the reception and well stocked shop.
There are walks from the park through the woods and along designated paths around the farmland in which the park is situated. It is also possible to cycle. In the summer there are tractor rides around the farmland.
The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Inside Park is approximately 5 - 10 minutes drive from the attractive market town of Blandford Forum where there are a number of shops including Morrisons and Tesco and also cafe's and restaurants.
It is possible to walk into the town from the park. We love going to Inside Park and never tire of it.

Our first family camping expedition. We picked the inside park based on its good reviews, and only being two and half hours away if it was a disaster. The large play area and likelihood of plenty of new pals for our 9 year old daughter was another strong factor.
As I mentioned our first trip so no reference to compare too, but here are our impressions.
Good points: In a lovely wooded farm with great countryside for walking/cycling. Even though the Longer paths didn't look that well used. Relaxed friendly atmosphere made up of mainly families so lots of children on bikes and running around having fun during the day, but quiet at night (generally from 10.30 onwards).
The excellent park, in constant use with the kids. Is great as you can relax a bit knowing where your kids are. The toilet shower facilities were generally clean and seemed plenty for the size of site. We didn't have to queue at all even though the site was full. Good base for exploring the area. We went to Weymouth sea life centre, Corfe castle and Monkey World. All roughly half an hours drive away.
Bad points: Much more of a slope than shown in the photo's of the site (especially on the furthest part from the reception). Although we were on pitch 59 and it was fine. No pubs / shops within close walking distance, though only 10 min drive to Blandford Forum with tesco / somerfield and an excellent chippie!
Overall verdict: We had great weather apart from one day of rain and we loved the place. Would not hesitate to recommend it and would probably go back.

This has to be one of my favourite campsites. We stayed here for 3 nights and may break the 'never return to the same place' rule.
We stayed in the main field which was great. Huge pitches and an excellent play area for the kids. The site was full and we didn't have to queue for the facilities at all. There were other areas that were away from the main field, which didn't seem so spacious and missed out on the great atmosphere.
We visited Moors Valley Park and Poole - both about 30 minute drive away.
Great campsite if you have kids.

What an amazing campsite, we would recommend this site to anyone, especially those with older children.
Although the site is on a bit of a hill, there are plenty of level or nearly level pitches around.
There is one huge toilet/shower block for the whole site, but it has 12 showers and plenty of loos. The shower/toilet block was always fairly clean. There was always hot water for the showers, my only complaint would be that if you chose the end shower, the water slowed to a trickle.
The washing up area was indoors and always with hot water, the really fab thing about the washing up area was the web cam showing the nesting swallows, just amazing.
But it's the play area that will take us back to the site, the equipment had to be seen to be believed, there was something for everyone, even my 14 year old was happy for a bit!
If you book electric hook up, it's worth paying the £1 a night for the light, it comes with 3 sockets as well and was really useful.
The nearest town is Blanford Forum, check out the Forum Cafe, it has a charming bookshop upstairs and lovely food too! Plus if you take the leaflet from the site, a 10% discount! We also walked around the Cerne Giant and went fossil hunting at Charmouth (but didn't find any fossils!)

What a fab site! This is our second visit to this park and we weren't disappointed. The site was fully booked but there was so much space between pitches, it was lovely. The play park is fabulous for all ages of kids, it does close at 9pm and reopens at 9am.
The toilets were always clean and love the amount of washing up sinks there are,8 in total. The shop has the immediate essentials, but there is Tesco and Morrisons just down the road by car. The outbuilding with the table tennis, pool tables and football table was also popular for the older children.
The location of this place is perfect, surrounded by beautiful countryside and woods. There are 3 walks on site, 1.5miles to 2.5 miles. Maps are given of this on arrival. Overall a very good site for a lovely break away.

Had a very peaceful break at the inside park. We went with friends and their dog & two children. The kids loved the games room & so did we as we never saw them.
The whole site is very clean however at busy times the toilets did become a little messy, I guess only to be expected with a busy bank holiday. Overall good value & one on our kids on leaving remarked what a great holiday they had had. We would revisit when in area again

Wonderful 3 nights at this campsite. Weather did play a big part of the holiday though. Very good playground for the kids, showers plentiful, washing up area a little small for the size of campsite but very well kept.
Shop well stocked full of camping stuff and fresh food and drink. Very clean and tidy camp site. Great walks / rides around the site suitable for all. We have a Royal Bordeaux 6 XL ZG no problem with pitch size plenty of room. Tescos just down the road. Woodland area next to the camp site ideal for little ones to explore. We will be returning.

Good points:-
* large adventure playground for the the kids * good on site shop * large clean shower blocks, plenty of them * quieter wooded area available (we stopped here) * good woodland walks direct off the campsite, great for the dogs (the left of the adventure playground is NO DOGS is you prefer this) * plenty to do in area (sandbanks beach, Poole approx 40 mins away) * Morrisons and Tesco within 1.5 miles of campsite * It was lovely and sunny all weekkkkk! yay (obviously not guaranteed though)
Bad Points:-
* Slope on some of the pitches - not really a problem though, as there is a plan on the sites web site and you can avoid the pitches - they run along the top of the campsite by above the adventure playground (around pitch 119)

The Inside Park is a lovely spacious site with lots of trees, well kept clean facilities and a fantastic play area particularly for older kids. The pitches are often sloping so its vital to think carefully about how to pitch the tent so you don't end up rolling into each other. I'd also suggest bringing something to level up your bbq or stove.
The toilet and shower block are clean and spacious but a fair old walk from the tent which was tricky at times with small boys who tend to need the facilities very often and at short notice.
Its interesting that other reviewers got directions for some good walks. We asked at the shop but got no help. We did manage to find the nearest pub in Winterbourne Stickland but a chunk of our walk was on a busy road which it is probably possible to avoid.

We've booked to come back after our camping buddies moved overseas and we didn't come last year, we'd been there for the previous 5 years. We're coming with our camper and new tent and looking forward to it.
We love the facilities, they're not like the big sites but suit us, the kids love their freedom and being able to play in the park, get together with other kids for a football match or ride all over the place on their bikes.
I compared the price of this to another campsite nearer Poole and they are £40 more expensive than Inside Park. I wouldn't say Inside Park was expensive, it's middle of the road compared to others, there are more expensive sites with less facilities around.
We're looking forward to coming back and we've enjoyed all our previous years there.
