This was our second visit to the site, visiting for ten nights this year, rather than eight nights last year. We found the facilities to be excellent. Of note were the high quality, clean toilet facilities and the washing up areas. The pitch was very generous and caused no problems despite the heavy rain at the end of July and the beginning of August when we stayed. The site was busy, but the owners had stuck to the number of pitches set out and had not packed more and more tents onto the site, as other owners often do in the peak season. We hired an electric hook up lead with a lamp and two sockets, this was not expensive, and was very useful. The fish and chip van twice a week allowed two evening meals with no washing up a week - Make sure you are at the front of the queue as all orders are cooked to order and when it's gone, it's gone! As a family with two young children I can strongly recommend the farm tour. It was a highlight of the holiday. We hope to return again next year - Can not praise the site too highly. Only down side was the shop opening at 9.00am, but you can not have everything!

Booked two nights on this site, as it was local and we needed a site to get the whole family on. So my son and I tested it out with two small tents. Upon arrival there was some difficulty in locating our details but eventually all was rectified and a helpful young lad shown us to our pitch. Despite the rain the whole park was just beautiful with sloping spacious green pitches, surrounded by woods and farming fields. The simplicity of the park was it's charm. The young lady in the shop also very polite and helpful. We were completely self sufficient and so didn't really require any of the facilities, but after the first night fancied visiting the games room to pass a rainy hour! We found three pool tables and two table tennis tables, all very cheap and looked good fun. The pool table we wanted to use had leaves and small sticks over the baize, so I ventured to the shop to ask if they had a brush so I could clean it. Once again the lady in the shop was most helpful, emerging with a brush! This place is excellent I thought, just then a chap I can only assume owns the park decided in his wisdom to make a offencive sarcastic remark to me. I put this remark to the back of my mind for the game's sake, (which incidentally was in the dark with no light switches) I dare not ask for a light. Upon returning to our tent I remembered that I was the customer, and as such with the current attitude it was likely that if there was a serious problem it could easily be ignored. We packed up early that afternoon. Such a shame this lovely park is not run with a friendly management. It costs nothing to be polite after all. Thank god we did not book two weeks! I think we could well be heading back out to Cornwall. Both Hendra & Trevornick have given us, not the cheapest but certainly some of the best camping holidays to date. We are now searching again to find a cheap site just blow out the cobwebs out on in Dorset.

Just returned from the inside park it is a very nice park nice and clean. Some nice walks, easy to follow maps, you just chose the route. Nice big pitch, not too bothered about keeping your car to one side. Toilet's clean but a bit off a walk from some pitches as their is only one toilet block . I would recommend this site to any body wanting a no hassle camping trip

We spent three days here two of which were sunny and only one very wet, although the site had some tyre marks it did not seem to boggy. But what a lovely site, very impressed with the size of the pitches. Slight disappointment about the facilities though, the site is very big and there is only one toilet block at the entrance. When I booked I was going to take my dog so we were placed almost at the far end of the site where dogs are allowed, what a hike in the middle of the night. The site is ideally suited for visiting the south western area, with lots to do for everyone. We visited Swanage and Monkey world, very interesting

Just returned from an eleven day holiday at the Inside Park. We couldn't have picked a better time to go as the rain had stopped and we had eleven days of glorious sunshine (apart from 4 hours of heavy rain). The site itself is great for families with large pitches, but remember to study the site plan before booking to get the right pitch for you. As our daughters are a little older we pitched away from the main field, which meant we didn't get disturbed by the noise from the play area. The pitches on the main field vary from level to really (in my opinion) an unacceptable slope. During the heavy rain we had for a couple of hours we found that the site flooded quickly, with rivers of water running all over the site, which meant some awnings and tents were flooded out. The drains outside of the toilet/shower block were partially blocked and therefore muddy water of up to 6 inches deep had to be waded through to use them. The toilet/shower block were excellent, cleaned daily with plenty of free hot water and with the right pitch, just minutes away for that much needed dash in the middle of the night along the well lit paths. The site is situated in beautiful countryside with an abundance of wildlife day and night and is in within easy reach of beaches and attractions with a Tesco just up the road, which compensates for the on-site shop opening at 9am. All in all a nice friendly site which is well worth a visit if you're in the area.

I suspect I just picked the wrong month to stay here. We've stayed previously for a weekend and found it busy but quiet, but stayed longer in August and found the noise level deafening. Yes, I know it's the holidays but surely some consideration of people wanting to get to sleep (younger children for example) and not letting children onto the park at 7am isn't too much to ask? My pitch was very muddy, so much so that my car got stuck. Other pitches were unused due to mud and some units were so huge, they sprawled everywhere. You were either lucky or very unlucky with your pitch area, hardly the "extra large pitches" that they advertise. It wasn't "so relaxing you won't want to leave", more like I couldn't wait to leave!

St got back from a week at this site (end July into August) we were lucky enough to have hot weather apart from one morning of heavy rain. The ground dried up quickly over most of site from previous week’s rain apart from the corner we were in! The owner did however make sure our 5 tents & 1 caravan were all pitched together for a family holiday. The showers & toilets were not the marathon we were expecting from previous reviews (we were at the furthest point from them) There was always plenty of hot water & out of the 11 of us in tents we never had to wait for a shower or the loo (although loo roll was often a problem late in the day for the ladies). The play park was fantastic, loads to do for all ages, our children’s ages ranged from 4 through to 13 with lots in between! The web site could do with mentioning that heavy duty pegs are needed, we all struggled as did many of our ‘neighbours’ The shop was well stocked for basics, camping gear & pocket money toy’s.The farm tractor tour was very good, it lasted a good hour & a bit. Sat nav’s (we had 3 different makes between us) will take you to the main farm not the campsite if put in by postcode. The owner blows hot & cold to how friendly he feels! We did have noisy campers one night until about 2 am, when people complained the next day he did ask them to leave. Lots of midges & you can fall asleep listening to the owl’s, foxes etc! Local area very nice; Monkey world, tank museum, Durdle Door, Lulworth cove all worth a visit. Cheap speed boat rides from Lulworth to Durdle Door & back. All in all a very nice camp, busy in high season some pitches seemed a bit close, we were lucky in being a large group we did not really have anyone close. You could also end up on a very sloppy pitch! The water & electric had to be turned off one day because of a problem, but the owner worked non stop to get it back on in a few hours. Overall good park but if returning to Dorset would go a bit nearer coast.

We had lovely weekend, the sun was shinning for a change! This is our second visit this year to the park, the first being the first May bank holiday. We didn't venture off the site, went for walks, and enjoyed the lovely landscape. My youngest spent most of her time in the play park. My eldest wanted to, but felt at 13 she was to old. In the May break there was less children so she did enjoy the park then. We did two of their walks, it did seem longer than the 2 miles, but it was very nice to walk through the forest. The first walk said suitable for pushchairs, I would say not, as the terrain is very bumpy. It only cost us £11 a night as it was low season, a bargain really.

Just returned from our second camping trip, this time to the Inside Park. The site is really beautiful and pitches are large and well spaced. We had heavy constant rain for the first few days but the pitches all had excellent drainage so did not cause any problems. The reception was only open for a few hours per day and had limited supplies but there is a Tesco only a few minutes drive so didnt really cause any problems. Laundry facilities were excellent and the video link to watch the nesting swallows helped pass the time when waiting for the tumble driers. The toilets and showers were spotless and cleaned regularly. The water was always hot and washrooms were warm. The childrens play area was excellent and our children aged 14,12 ,7 and 2 all really loved it. There was plenty of space for ball games and after the weekend when the pitches emptied we were the only tent in the bottom corner of the field so children could play outside the tent without disturbing anyone. There are lots of walks through the woods where dogs can be exercised. Picnic tables are provided and can be taken to your pitch but only one per unit which is to be expected. There was no problems with noise or other campers and overall I would say that this is an excellent site for those that just want to get away and relax. I'm not really sure about the surrounding area as we only left the site once to visit Durdle Door but we found plenty to do on the site. There is a games room with football tables, pool and table tennis although you do need to get into reception to use these and its not always open. I would really recommend this site and hope to visit again next year.

Have just returned from a three night break at this park, with 2 children. Owner really helpful, popped on bike and took us to our pitch, no 23 lots of stones so a few pegs will need to be replaced. Very big pitch, clean shower blocks lots of hot water, chippy van came on saturday lovely but had to wait for it to be cooked. The playground was great for the children and there is a ball area at the top of the playground but the families near us were too lazy to walk up to use it. There was also a very noisy group of fathers with kids who were very loud until 2am, told owner the following morning and he had word with them but they were leaving next day so didnt pay too much attention. Not owners fault he did try. Really pretty site, peaceful. Rained loads but ground wasnt water logged, would go there again.
