Love this place and although it is only a 30 minute drive from where we live we frequently go for a relaxing time where both our daughter is entertained by the great playground and we are nice and chilled by a lovely setting. Peaceful and as they say you'll not want to leave.

Just returned from this site a couple of days ago and really didn't want to leave. Great location, out of the way yet close enough to some great attractions, we did the beach at Sandbanks in about 40 mins, Longleat in just over an hour. There's a Tesco's just 5 mins away too. The site is spotless, good, clean showers & toilets. Definitely take your bikes, the off road courses are great fun. The kids playground is well used from dawn till dusk so must be good! Huge pitch sizes, we easliy fitted our 7x3m tent and a 3x3 day tent, most pitches are level too, although some are not. Friendly first class service and really helpful staff. We will be going back next year.

Well here really is the gem in the crown! This is a superb site so picturesque and beautiful you really won't want to leave. It says so on the sign as you enter and I scoffed at it, but you know what? It's true. Excellent wash, toilet and shower facilities, excellent play site for the kids, excellent staff, just excellent so if your in the Blandford area this is a must! Loads to do locally, absolutely stunning country side and coastline why bother with anywhere else and yet we all toddle off to Cornwall instead? Not me, not anymore, I am sure I will be booking for this one for a few years to come. Good centre for local touring and loads of places to visit, I really can't sing it's praises enough. Tesco nearby for essentials and petrol, Mac's etc go to Dorchester, Weymouth but for a real treat try the true stars of this region, the local public houses that try to out do each other with their charm and beauty. This is a thatched roof paradise! The road network is great and I never met heavy traffic or had trouble parking at all. As a footnote it was also the cheapest site on my tour, how mad is that? Well done Inside Park.

We booked a pitch with a number of other families for a long weekend around the half-term holidays. We had been designated the tree-line pitches, over-looking the children's play area, so plenty of room to stretch-out We were extremely impressed with our stay, the campsite is very well maintained, and there is lots for the little ones to do, including a BMX track in the woods - so take their bikes. The play area is fantastic, and the other facilities are fully up to scratch. You can even hire BBQ's to save the hassle of taking one with you. Blandford Forum is a mile or so away, and contains a medium sized Tesco's to cater for all food and drink requirements. The site is surrounded by stunning countryside, and is about 20 miles from the coast, about 40 minutes from Studland, and Ringstead beaches. We had a great relaxing stay for a long weekend, but I would have found it a little isolated for a full week's holiday. But, definitely planning a return visit.

We were slightly disappointed with the site after reading such good reviews on this website. Although the pitches were very spacious, the people in the pitch next to us had pitched so far over into our pitch that it made it difficult to pitch there, without being on their guy ropes. At first, the staff were not to concerned but when we complained for the 3rd time they did manage to find us another pitch. The site is in a lovely setting surrounded by trees, with plenty of walks to do. The play area according to my 8 year old son was 'pucka'! The toilet and shower block was okay, it wasn't dirty but there was often toilet paper on the floor, 2 of the toilet seats were broken and me and my 5 year old daughter managed to get locked in a toilet. There is loads to do in the surronding area, we only spent 1 week here but you could quite easily spend 2 weeks in this area. Although this isn't the worse site we have been to, I wouldn't say it was the best. I will return to the area but probably not this site.

A great site tucked away in the countryside outside of Blandford. Staff are very helpful, friendly and approachable. A very relaxing, common sense site with the only major rule being no noise after 10:30pm. The toilets / showers are always cleaned and looked after, with a mop and bucket always on hand.
It has a great playground for kids, and it was easy to see from where our tent was. Some of the tent pitches are on slopes, but if you have electric hook up then you have more variety. Loads of space for kids to run riot and enjoy themselves and also great walks into the woods. There is loads of space for kids to ride their bikes and not get on top of the adults and other campers.
The only minus point was the distance from the toilets if you needed to go during the night, we solved that with a trip to Homebase and a 99p bucket.
I would recommend this site without hesitation and in fact we have already booked for next year. We've already seen an electric hook up in anticipation of our next visit.

A lovely park in a nice setting with huge pitches. We went last week and the park was busy but not full. The pitches were well spaced and the whole park was well maintained. The toilets and showers always seemed clean (with the exception of the mother & baby / disabled which could do with a good going over). The staff were friendly and helpful and the shop stocked all the things you could need and the price was very reasonable.

Found this site to be very clean & tidy with good sized pitches, some with electric. Some pitches are sloping but we had no problem levelling our unit. Showers cleaned daily, good value and well stocked site shop with daily basics. Great play area for the kids. Away from main roads so peace and quiet but only a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Blandford Forum. All in all a great site and good value for money will go back again.

Just visited to shake out the big tent prior to the long summer hol. Originally our second choice because the site we wanted was fully booked but I'm so pleased it was! Had a fabulous time and can not recommend this site enough to all - family and adults on their own alike. Its well organised, beautifully maintained and very clean. The staff are so helpful and polite. Adverts do not do this site justice! The playground is excellent but is positioned so that those campers who are not interested in it do not need to either see it or hear it! Our kids of 2 and 8 loved it though. If forced to pick a down point, it would be the distance of some of the pitches from the loos but we'll remedy this by taking our own next time - it's only really a problem for the kids and as stated would have to be forced to make any critisisms! Loved it and will def go again!
