Fantastic site, well managed and the staff are friendly. Really good play area. We had a lovely pitch round the back of the site where we were enclosed on all sides by trees and our tent was just about visible from the path. The toilet/shower block is big and kept clean and well stocked. This is my husbands favourite site and we will certainly be returning next year!

Just had a fantastic weekend here, the Park was beautiful, and spacious. The kids park was brilliant we didn't see our kids for the whole weekend unless they wanted replenishment. We went on one of the three guided walks around the Park which was stunning.
Very pleasant and helpful staff. The park shop was fully stocked with plenty of choice for the kids as well along with many essentials for camping needs (even airbeds, for when you have a blow out like us).

The Games room was adequate with pool tables and table tennis.

Morrisons was less than a mile away.

And plenty of local pubs in the nearby town

Only one downside was that we were up the top end of the park so it was a bit of a walk to the facilities (all very clean and good working order) luckily we had a much needed portaloo for the children. We look forward to staying next year.

What a great campsite, staff friendly, facilities good, not too big and the kids are having a great time. There is an outdoor playpark which is good , there is a games room for them to use too.
The beaches of bournemouth, poole and weymouth are about 45 mins drive along with all the other attractions there. Blanford itself has good shops and tescos is only a 5 minute drive away from the campsite.
All in all we really like this site and will definitely be back again. Very child friendly.

Spent the bank holiday weekend here in May and had some really good weather. When we arrived we were greeted by some really nice converted coach buildings which house all of the sites facilities. These include shop, games room, laundry, wash-up, toilets, showers. They were all well kept and tidy. The staff were friendly and led us on their bike to our pitch. As a few tents had made a group we were offered a pitch in a quieter spot, which was nice.

The camping field covers a small valley so some of the pitches have a slope but nothing terrible. As there are a lot of trees around the site there were plenty of roots below the surface to try and get pegs past but it wasn't too much of a problem. To one side of the field was the large play area which seemed to be a hit with the children on site! Our pitch was on the opposite side of the park to the facilities which meant a 2 minute walk. I don't think anyone could complain that this was a trek.

In the site information leaflets we were given on arrival, there were some walks which we tried and quite enjoyed. These ranged from walks through fields, woods or meadow.

Overall a nice site within driving distance of most things on the south coast. I would recommend the brewery just on the outskirts of Blandford for a tour and to try out the beer! There is a tescos about 2 mins past the brewery for food supplies.

Fantastic site, toilet blocks were always being cleaned, owners really friendly and helpful. Had trouble keeping me away from the play area it was so good! Just wish I'd taken the bikes.Shop stocks the essentials but Tesco and Morrisons are only 10 mins away by car (if that). Only downside is that I wish the showers were slightly more powerful but at least they weren't of the button variety!

Can't wait to go back in a few weeks with my bike.

What a lovely site, you won't be disappointed. The overall feel of this park is really natural with the beautiful landscape not being spoiled with the over-use of tarmac. The town of Blandford is really pretty and has a market every week.

The toilet blocks were always clean and tidy and the water was hot although some of the showers were not particularly powerful. The undercover dishwashing facilities were clean + the laundry had a selection of books to read while you wait for your washing!

The small but well stocked shop on the site was not over priced and had most things you would need including a selection board games etc. For those wet weekends, there are Tesco + Morrisons about 5 mins drive away for any serious shopping trips.

There is a fantastic playground in the middle of the park and a decent games room with pool tables and table tennis - no arcade games to cost a fortune, this is open all day until about 10pm.

The dogs are restricted to one side of the site to allow the non-doglovers the freedom to camp in a dog-free zone- which is fair enough I suppose and there are nice long dog walks through the woods.

The staff were very helpful, the price was fair and the whole place was well looked after, they obviously take great pride in the presentation of their site.

We loved this campsite and will definitely be going back.

Fantastic Place, toilets and showers were clean, shop was good enough for what we required, Went in my Ontario 8, 1 adult, 2 children 6 & 9
Very spacious pitches and didn't even have to pay extra for the size of tent. I actually never saw my kids until they were hungry, they were too interested in the surrounding forest making dens and things, big play area for the kids even saw someone who had taken a paddling pool great idea.
Would recommend this place to anyone, reasonable rates as well even best no rush to get me off the site so I had time to get the tent dry luckily no-one was going on the same pitch after me

We have ben coming to the inside park now for 2 years this was our 4th visit this year and have already booked for next year.

We love it! Beautiful grounds surrounded by woodland. The play park is fantastic the kids love it and vey well maintained. There is 4 woodland walks marked and mapped out between 1.5 miles and 3 miles.

Having had a very very wet summer i was expecting a rather muddy pitch but was very surprised that the pitches in general were still looking very grassy.

Site is very well maintained toilet block is cleaned very regularly not particularly modern but clean and thats the main thing.

As we only live 25 mins away we don't go sight seeing this is our 2-4 day site. Blandford is 1 mile away with tesco and morrisons. Some of the takeaways will deliver free to the park, we did this back in may, very handy!

If you have teenagers and like to spend alot of time on site this probably not for you as theres not enough to do but for young families it is perfect.

Inside park is as close to perfect as we have found in 10 years of camping!

I can only echo what everyone else has said here - we pitched ok even though the terrain was on a slope, but the pitches are huge so it's not so difficult to find a 'sweet spot'. It is a trek in the dark to the loos, so a potty is a good idea. Wish they had another small toilet block at the opposite end to the playground. No hookups on the pitches around the edges of the site.

Blandford is lovely, lots to do in the surrounding countryside, Monkey World a big hit with my 2 yr old! Tractor and trailer rides offered by the owners were fun and good value for money. Look out for the 'Dinosaur Tree' if you go!

Love this site. Have just come back from my second visit and I would highly recommend it. The children's playground is great with lots to do. The pitches are a nice size and there is just lots of space. The only small down side for me is that the main field is quite sloped but if you get the right pitch it is fine.
Toilet & shower block is nice and despite going in peak season there were no queues. The site itself is down a long private road so you are along way from any traffic which makes it nice and quiet.
