August 2004 An absolutely fantastic site with spacious pitches, beautiful specimen trees and a fab play area which is located far enough away from the pitches to be quiet, but close enough for you to let your kids trot off to it! We like it so much we have been for the past 2 years and have booked again for this August!

May 2005 Lovely quiet site, pitches huge but some on quite a slope. If we went again we would definitly request a pitch not on the slope. If you want a relaxing holiday this is the place to be, lots of lovely walks around farm and woods. Excellent play area for children although not too much for little tots. Felt safe enough to let 7 year old go off to play area alone.
Shower block a short walk away, fairly clean (you had to mop out your shower cubicle when you were finished) could do with a little updating. Lots of sinks in washing up area, also had washing machines but we didn't use them. Would definitly visit this site again

June 2005 Went this half term and the kids loved it the adventure park there is really good for the kids. I liked the idea that dogs were only allowed on one side of the park which is away from the kids park. Our pitch was on a slight slope but nothing major and the park itself is lovely and peaceful and the woodland walks are good for the dogs the bad things are that when we stayed my poor ole collie picked up ticks from the woods and they were a bit of a problem we were told the warmer the weather the bigger the problem and only one toilet block which is fine during the day but at 3am and its freezing cold and wet the last thing you want to do is walk to the entrance to do a wee overall I would recommend this site

June 2004 We have been to Inside Park for six years now, and every time it has been wonderful. Even in High season, when the site can fill up, it is still one of the most peaceful, tranquil places we have stayed. Situated in a secluded valley, far from any main road and sheltered by magificent mature trees, it is a welcome rest from the rigours of modern life. The toilets are always immaculate, whatever time of day, and the showers are free and hot. There is a large kids play area, which can get noisy, but there are acres, sorry, hectares of woodland to walk in and if you are lucky you may spot deer in the wheat fields adjoining them. The onsite shop is well stocked for the basics, but then there are two supermarkets in Blandford, just down the road. There is also the Badger Brewery shop, which is well stocked with a large selection of wine, as well as a fine selection of beer! A top site that we don't want anyone else to know about!

April 2004 The campsite and grounds were well maintained with plenty of room to pitch. Part of the childrens playground was closed off while new equipment was being fitted. The showers had plenty of hooks for clothes a foldaway chair and rack for your toiletries, nice to see hairdryers free of charge and little stools for smaller children to reach the sinks. The shop stocked basic essentials. There is a small games room with 3 pool tables and 1 table tennis. Blanford Forum is only about a mile away with walks along the river and a market on Saturdays.

22 - 26 September 2003 We spent 5 enjoyable days at this site. Alwyn is diabetic, so we need to be near the toilet block, and booked accordingly. We were about 30 seconds from it! I wouldn't like to be at the far end of the field though, more than one car came down to the loos and desperate people jumped out and rushed inside!
This is a lovely site, with very friendly people. Most of the facilities were closed while we were there too - the three showers and two private sinks only - but it was so quiet it was fine.
My only gripe was the showers. For this time of year they perhaps weren't warm enough, you couldn't alter the temperature, and you had to press the button every ten seconds to keep them going, or lean with your back on the button - not possible if you don't want to wash your hair! It was nice they were free, but I personally would have preferred to pay 10p or 20p and have lashings of hot water for 5 minutes or so!
Generally a good time - I expect we will return and brave the showers again!

August 2003 An excellent site for a family although it may not be the best site for a couple looking for a quiet break. The site is well maintained, the toilets clean and the staff were very friendly.
The shop opening times could perhaps been a little better. It opens 9am-7pm. A sign reports that the gates to the site are locked 10pm-7am so if you are at the pub for last orders expect to park in the late arrivals area.
Oh and watchout for the speed bump when turning into the site. It can catch you out the first time.

August 2003 We went to this site camping for just for the one night and it was absolutely brilliant. Our pitch was huge and big enough for at least another 4 tents, it was secluded and surrounded by trees so you were unable to see any other caravans or campers. We will definatly be returning to this site and would highly recommend it to anybody.

August 2003 We spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pitches were spacious and it wasn't too crowded. Some of the tents were pitched on a slope but we were lucky enough to have quite a flat area for ours. The washrooms and showers were quite a distance from our pitch but they had continuous hot water and were kept very clean. The play area was a good size and our two children loved it! There was also plenty of space around our tent for them to play badminton and football. There are 3 walks around the site through the woods around the farm which were very enjoyable, especially for the dog who found phesants and rabbits to chase! One of the walks wasn't very well marked but we were able to follow it with a little guess work and some help from the leaflet provided. A mobile fish and chip shop visits the site on Weds & Sat nights. This was great as i didn't have to cook for a change on the Weds but the queue was quite long and we had to wait for about half an hour to be served. The site also provides day kennels for hire which we used for a day at the cost of £6. The kennels are situated in a shady spot beneath the trees so our dog was comfortable there while we visited the Tank museum for the day. On the whole we really enjoyed our stay at "The Inside Park" and will definitely be returning at sometime in the not too distant future.
