Ignore all the reviews you have read on this site they are all wrong. This site is dreadful. Don't ever think of going here. Well I need to try and keep people away some how don't I, I wouldn't be good if I ring up to book a pitch and found someone from here has filled it up. So for purely selfish reasons stay away. :-)
It is a great site. Some pitches are a bit sloped but nothing that isn't easily dealt with. The wash block is great and kept clean and there was plenty of room ( well in October half term ) but I can't imagine you would have to wait long even with the site at capacity, ( and it doesn't have those annoying push button things and you control the temperature ). We had a great pitch under the cedar tree right next to the biggest play area I've seen on a proper campsite ( not counting the haven type things here )the site is split into two areas with less than a quarter of it around the play area where no dogs are allowed. There are 3 walks around the site of various distances between 1 and 2.5 miles we tried the shorter one as we had a couple of 3 year olds in tow and it was easy and simple to follow. The site also provides a picnic table for every pitch which is great for sitting out on and watching the kids go mad in the park.
There is a small shop on site that has the basics but Blandford has a couple of big supermarkets and is only a 10 minute drive away. There is also a games room on site that had 3 pool tables, 2 table tennis and 1 table football, they also had a lot of leaflets and some local information on the notice boards. There is a public payphone with some local takeaway menus in the laundry room.
The main thing about the site we noticed was it was quiet it might be a little different in the high season and maybe it was because the clocks had changed but it got quiet quite early and everyone seemed to go along with it without giving it a second thought.
This is easily a 10 out of 10 site for us. The only thing I can think of that would help is to get another chemical point. But that is a very minor point. Well Done inside park we will see you again.

This was a lovely site and like the other reviews, it is well maintained, clean and a credit to the owners. We stayed right on the corner of the main entrance, which you did hear the through fare on the gravel road, but this was minor issue. The children enjoyed the play area or playing in the woods. The site is on a slope, but not many people seemed to mind, indeed we spoke to many 'regulars' who go back time and time again.
The shop is small on the outside, but like an Aladdin's cave inside - and holds most things you'll need. We only used it to freeze the ice blocks (50p a time) and sweets as the town is under 5 mins away and has several major stores (Morrison's and Sainsbury's).
I would recommend this site as a good, relaxing place to go.

We loved this site! It had such a friendly atmosphere and was a perfect site for families. As already said the playground is brilliant, the washrooms were clean and there was generally not too much of a wait for the showers in the morning.
We have a dog and the woods next to the site were fantastic. It made walking her really easy.
The other great thing about the site is how close it is to so many great places.
Would love to come back and visit again.

A really lovely site, such a shame that we picked the wettest two weeks of the summer, not that the kids minded. We were pitched on the far right side of the park which was nice and level but a little walk or cycle to the toilets and showers. It did get very muddy where the road ended but the weather conditions were typhoon like! The picnic benches are a good idea as when it was sunny you could sit outside without having to keep moving everything into the awning each time it rained. Showers and toilets were cleaned regularly and most people also tended to mop the shower after they'd used it. Shop was well stocked, just wish they'd sold newspapers. Kids loved the playground (probably one of the best I've seen) and football pitch, really good walks and bike rides through the woods. Tesco's and Morrisons nearby. Went to Poole, Wimbourne and Bournemouth too. Only downsides is that the washing machines weren't great, but our clothes were extremely muddy and it did cost about £4 to dry the clothes. I actually gave up attempting to dry jeans in the end and rigged up a line in the awning.
Would definitely go back though as staff and other campers were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

WOW! If you have kids - this is the site for you! Just back from a great week camping and have already booked for next year. Great size pitches, clean toilets/showers/washing up facilities (although bit of a hike from top end of site - best to take portable toilet for overnight). Super play area, separate football area and great walks/ bike rides. Spent several days at coast, visited tank museum and had meal at Crown hotel in Blandford.(Quite pricey, but good food). Chip van visits site on 2 or 3 evenings. Seemed to really quiten down after 10.30. Biggest noise at night were the owls! If towing, please be aware road and drive up to site are very narrow.

The inside park is a good looking, well kept campsite with plenty to do in the surrounding areas. There is a main tent field and few others dotted around the trees which gives it a woodland feel to it, the play area is great for youngsters 3 -15.
The toilets are clean and the washing up places are ample, plus laundry ( new dryer needed ) Only draw back is that the tracks and pathways can get a bit bogged down in the heavy rain we had, apart from that it was great, but we wont be going back to Dorset as every time we do it rains, lol

Wow, this site is fantastic!
Really relaxing with the best kids play area we have seen at a campsite.
We didn't use the toilets or washrooms as we had our own but they always looked clean.
The owners have even gone to the trouble of mapping out three very pleasant walks within their farm land. We went on all three walks and had a great time. Kids splashing in as many puddles as possible along the way!
They even let you have a campfire, however your braizier must be 18' above the ground.

Just come back from this site & I have to say what a wonderful site. On arrival we were shown where to pitch, after pitching on a flattish piece of ground. Some pitches were on a slope. I was 2' short for the E.H.U. cable. So off I went to the shop to buy one, when I told the guy what I wanted it for he said 'no need to buy one you can borrow one'. Brilliant service, they could have made £24.99 but instead did the above.
There are waymarked walks all around the site, we did all three. Mainly in the woods but if you do them at dawn or dusk you can hear & see loads of wildlife.
The toilet block was spotless there are 2 lots for each sex, I found the bottom ones better for adults as the shower heads were further up! The washing up sinks were spot on with at least 10 sinks with a drainer attached. We also used the washer & dryer a couple of times good value. There was a good games room with pool table & table tennis. The pool balls you hire for an hour, table tennis balls I think you had to buy? you can get a map from reception for all the pubs in the area. They can recommend the good ones!
The play ground is one of the best, my three kids & even myself had a brill time & never got bored.
There was plenty to do round & about we travelled most days & then back to site for tea & beers. The site goes quiet around 11pm so we all got a good nights sleep. Poole was nice & on Thursday evenings during Summer there is a Firework display down by the bay. We did Weymouth, but big queues of traffic in & out we used the P&R. Nice beach & town ctr.
We went into Blandford one night about 2 mins drive, you can walk but it's all up hill home? Great pubs & restaurants.
Overall a great site but I feel the shop hours should be longer in the summer it opens 9am to 6pm. Certainly go back if we ever do Dorset again.

Greeted by friendly helpful staff.
Given a nice pitch next to friends & close to the play area, which was ideal for our children.
Fantastic play area! I was quite envious that I was too big to go on it.
Tried out some of the suggested walks, which were nice.
Showers ok. I chose badly- ended up in the cubicle that had other showers draining into it, so I had to dodge the stream of soapy water coming through! Will know better next time!
Booked to come again later this year!

Just back from 12 nights at the Inside Park with husband and 2 kids aged 8 and 4 and this was the perfect site for a family summer holiday. We had a pitch at the bottom of the slope which was within easy reach of the playpark for the kids, ideal for us. At the top of the slope was a wooded area, great for exploring and building dens in.
The park is reached from the main road down a single track tree lined road and when you get to the bottom of the road, you go into the park. At the entrance are the shower and toilet blocks as well as reception / shop and the games room. The use of the park was well thought out by the owners - the main part of the park near the play area was used by families and the two more remote pockets were used by adults. It's very picturesque. The owners are very welcoming and we were shown directly to our pitch by one of the owners who cycled round.
The pitches are really generous in size, we had plenty of space - they also provide a picnic table on each pitch which was great.
The showers and toilets were spotless and were cleaned very regularly and there was plenty of hot water, whatever time you used the facilities. The shop was well stocked with the essentials and camping emergency supplies, although they were a bit pricey. There were pool tables, table tennis and table football machines in the games room - these were coin operated and as the shop was only open for a few hours a day, meant we had to be well stocked up on the right change for the kids to use the machines in the evening! There was also a laundry room with two huge washing machines, £2 per 25 minute wash.
The beaches at Poole and Bournemouth are about a half hour drive away, well worth a day trip if the weather is good. There are a couple of nice pubs in Blandford Forum as well, The Stour and The Crown. There's also a Tesco, Morrisons and Somerfield in Blandford Forum - it also has a nice main street with lots of local shops as well as a Boots and an Argos. There are two butchers who do barbecue packs - very good value and lovely steaks!
The Inside Park was a real 'find', a great holiday had by all of us - kids already asking if we can go back next year!
