This site is as good as it looks on their website. I have visited on 4 different occasions over the last 2 years ( it is a pretty new site) and the standard is as good as anyone could want)
I will not elaborate on reviews already posted but it is one of the consistently well maintained sites I have visited. Quiet, quiet, quiet! All the facilities are completely adequate. Even when full!
So don't be put off at high season as a lot of the pitches are taken by tourers etc. Please go there and see for your self. The steaks you can buy and put on your BBQ are really worth the trouble, (there were 2 young couples who travelled fairly regularly to this site just to stay for a night or two and have some of their prime beef. Dont miss this one! Have been many times so wont go on about going again.
However we might see you there!

We stayed this weekend at Field Barn Park and thoroughly loved the campsite, its facilities and the location. The site was easy to find just a few minutes drive from Bourton on the Water, the pitch sizes are excellent and extremely well kept along with the whole campsite, very tidy and clean.
The toilets and washing facilities are excellent with hot showers! You are able to order egg's loads of fresh local produce for the bbq - which is dropped off by the owners of the campsite in the evenings.
There is an information point which was very helpful for the area. The owners were extremely friendly and inviting to the campsite, Thank you very much for our visit and as promised we will be along again very soon.

This is a great site with the largest pitches we have come across and very peaceful.
The welcome notice detailing your pitch number was a good arrangement and we loved the honesty box for eggs, meat and especially the Cotswold ice cream ( good job we were only there for two nights!)
The shower and toilet block was lovely and clean and as there were only a handful of people on site they were never busy. There were plenty of hooks in the showers but no where to stand shampoo, soap, etc - only a small niggle and not one to lose any sleep over.
Bourton and Stow are close by for a wander and a coffee or a drink.
We are already thinking of when we can book up our next couple days of relaxation.

This is a well planned out site, with amply size pitches. Still in the making with new saplings which will when grown provide perfect privacy to each pitch.
Perfect for a peaceful stay as set back off the main road. There was some lovely wild bird to be seen and the dawn chorus was beautiful.
It is only a short walk into Bourton on the Water,a beautiful village where you can dine very reasonably so you don't even need to cook, but be warned the walk back if using the road consists of a steep hill, but we were informed there is a footpath across the field which is much more level and easy going.
Fresh free range eggs and fare trade ice cream are available on site.
Owners are very nice and unintrusive.
We're already planning our next visit.

Excellent campsite. Very peaceful, nice views, friendly owners, great pitches (the largest ones I've seen in the UK). Lovely walk through the fields into the town for fish and chips and a dip in the river for the dog. The town is lovely with some nice shops and lots of food! Distant road noise sometimes but not enough to disturb anyone - didn't even notice. The fridges and freezers on site for tents to use is an excellent idea. We will be back very soon as it's the best site we've found for ages. :)

Brilliant little campsite, hidden away just outside Bourton on the Water. We initially booked for one night but ended up staying for 5!
Lovely new toilet block in an old barn (though small it is clean and simple)
The site is pretty new, so right now there are young trees and contemporary looking 'elephant grass' which creates a bit of sculptural screening between pitches.
The pitches are really big and spacious, so bring your extension lead!
You can buy farm eggs, BBQ meat and Ice cream from the washing up room using the honesty box - a very nice touch.

This is an excellent site for adults only. Very well laid out with pitches big enough (100sqm) to set up your unit with the same space again to fill with utility tent, car and a gazebo. Electric hook up and water taps are also spaced between you and your neighbour.
The toilet and shower facilities are cleaned on a daily basis and are heated. There is also a laundry room with washing machine fridge / freezer, ironing board and washing up sinks. They stock locally produced ice cream, eggs and meat for you to purchase, with a lovely honesty box for you to put your money in. There is a little shed at the start of the site which stocks lots of leaflets and information for things to do in the area.
There are wonderful walks and stunning countryside in every direction. Bourton on the Water is approx 1 mile away and is one of my favourite Cotswold villages.
I would highly recommend this site if your looking to get away from it all for a while. Peaceful relaxing and with large pitches to spread out on.
Martin MacCurrach and his wife are the most friendly site owners I have come across. They always stop for a chat when on site and are always asking for honest comments to improve things.
Have returned on many occasions and will continue to in the future.

Just arrived home from a wonderful week staying at this quiet, well planned site, with large pitches, lovely scenery and very accommodating owners.
The facilities were always clean and tidy and never crowded although the site was busy. The meat packs were tasty and we enjoyed several BBQ's in fact we brought some home.
We had no problems finding the site and the track onto the site did not cause us any problems.
We will be going back again soon.

Excellent well cared for site & would highly recommend. Showers & toilets were always clean & the owners most helpful leaving a detailed description at the site entrance of your pitch number if they should not be available.
It was very refreshing that the small shop had an honesty box.
Thoughtfully laid out & planted site with many taps available within easy access of the pitch.

Just got home from a weeks stay at Field Barn Park as like previous reviews, we found the site very quiet and very relaxing the owners are very friendly too
The facilities were kept very clean even over the bank holiday weekend when the site was very busy. The owners say there are further improvements they wish to make (hopefully not making the site any bigger)!
Bourton On The Water is just a stroll away with some nice places to eat and drink. We will be going back to this site next year hopefully for a longer stay
