Just visited this site over the wkend and what a lovely camp. Over 30s. Hidden gem. Clean an tidy. Didn't hear any noise was so peaceful. We sat out at night with our little chimney fire. Wardens peter an Janet very friendly and helpful. Toilets an shower block lovely and clean ample hot water. Couldn't find fault with this place. Will definitely be going again. Pitches some do have slight slope but nothing to worry about. The weather was lovely so great wkend had by all. Children not allowed hence 1\10 lol

3 night break, very nice layout, lovely large pitches but slight slope, ground very hard and quite a few thistles. First two nights lovely and peaceful but sadly 3rd night farmer harvesting the field adjacent till midnight! 3 toilets in the ladies, 2 sinks and 3 showers, 2 toilets, 2 sinks and 3 showers in the men's, cleaned daily by site wardens (closed between 11. 30-12. 30 daily). Good indoor washing up facilities, two sinks with draining board, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge and freezer facility. Very hot on Recycling at this site, everything must be put in recycling areas including food. Good Information shed.
Area amazing, Bourton on the Water very beautiful, as were surrounding villages. We went into Cheltenham for the day which was lovely.
Overall nice site not sure if it was full to capacity whether facilities would be sufficient (site little over half full during our visit). We voted it down on customer service as we went for peace and quiet and felt the farmer should also abide by same noise rules as they set on the site or certainly warn you as we would have gone home a night earlier had we known. Same goes for facilities, grass was a bit long and full of thistles could be looked after a little better we felt.

Despite horrid wet weather, this site was great. Excellent clean facilities, good location, generous sized pitches. Particularly appreciated the £1 for 1/2 hour tumble dryer! 25 min amble down hill into Bourton is a real plus, there is plenty to do & see in village, despite the crowds. Slight problem when we arrived at site, as electric hook up sockets all on one post for 3 pitches, with our allocated pitch the furthest away, our electric lead wasn't long enough, but warden was able to move us a bit closer, & could have lent us a longer lead if needed. Also, going to over 30's site would have expected it to be, as other posters obviously found, quiet & peaceful, but was woken at 3. 15AM by lady obviously enjoying herself in caravan or camper nearby, singing & shouting & stamping her feet. Couldn't be bothered to get up to investigate & party poop her, but was definitely a bit grumpy the following morning packing the tent away in the rain! Would definitely go back, booking online v simple, but would request pitch next time.

Visited this campsite to test our new purchase. Facilities are clean and plenty of hot water too. The over 30's only rule guarantees peace and quiet. Could do with some low level lighting to show the way to the loos in the night. Bourton on the water is very close and worth a visit, but go early as it does get busy. We will be back!

Another lovely, peaceful, short break at Field Barn Park! The planting around the site has really grown since we visited last and provides excellent natural screening between the large pitches - from our pitch we could only see a few other campers. Plenty of water points around the site. The toilet/shower facilities are clean - could possibly do with the cobwebs being removed very high up on the ceiling (but I didn't have any trouble with spiders. And I'd have spotted them if they were there!). The wardens were very pleasant and friendly. Burgers, steak and eggs can be purchased on site - go to the little hut near the reception area. Decent chip shop in the centre of Bourton on the Water, which was ideal for a quick, easy meal when we arrived fairly late (particularly as some of the restaurants finished serving at 2030) and you can park nearby on the main road through Bourton on the Water during the evening. We will definitely be back at Field Barn Park again!

Wow what can I say, what a fabulous site. We rang up on a Saturday morning, as the site we were at wasn't good, the wardens were so helpful, they measured a pitch for us, and rang back to say they could accommodate our large tag axle motorhome.
We stayed four nights and would have loved to have stayed longer.
The farmer owner has done a brilliant job at landscaping and dividing all the pitches, with trees and elephant grass.
Our pitch had electrical hook up and water.
Although the site was almost full on the first night, there was no noise. Bliss.
Shower and toilet block was lovely, and we never had to wait.
On site washing machine and tumble drier, which worked well.
Small shop (shed) on site selling the basics. Farmers own reared beef was stunning.
The wardens were so helpful and friendly, you couldn't ask for anything better
Site adults only, over 30.
We would definitely return. Just a wonderful site.

Field Park Barn is a lovely small site great for anyone wanting peace and quiet. The campsite feels like it's miles from anywhere but the beautiful village of Bouton on the Water is only a mile away. The facilities are modern and clean and I particularly liked the fridge/freezer in the utility room which was open all hours. I often find it a problem freezing packs and being able to retrieve them before the shop closes so this small service was really useful to me. It was also perfect for chilling the wine quickly!
The pitches are really big and water pipes are close to every pitch, I'm sure even when the site is full it wouldn't feel over crowded due to the design. There's no shop on site but there is a supermarket close by in Boughton.

Just returned from a lovely 4 night break. Two adults in a tent with electric. Firstly this site is over 30s and they strive to maintain the peaceful environment. This is not the site to go to for large group gatherings and late night drinking and talking/shouting. In fact it is almost silent come 9pm which is bliss !
Pitches are excellent sized and have access to electric and water. All separated by bushes, long grass and shrubs.
When we arrived it seems that although we booked online and put the size, make and model of our tent we still got mistaken for a caravan and were allocated a pitch with the other caravans. While this was a lovely pitch it was sloped and unfortunately quite a long way to the loo and shower block.
It does appear tents are placed on the lower part of the site and caravans higher up. This mistake didn't massively inconvenience us but next time I would phone and check they hd correct details.
Facilities clean and heated. When we visited site was really quiet but don't know how if it were full it would cope so not many toilets and only two washing up sinks. However we didn't have a problem and therefore found the facilities excellent. Free use of freezer, fridge and microwave too. Nice touch!
Wardens extremely friendly and very helpful. Tiny shop selling farmers meat (lovely) and basics like tea etc.
Location perfect!
All in all really lovely experience and one we will return to soon. The peace was bliss with no screaming children and noisy campers. Just peace and quiet.

We loved this site, the showers, toilets, kitchen etc where kept spotless, the pitches where huge and more than enough room. The sense of privacy with the shrubs, trees etc was brilliant. Very peaceful and a wonderful camping site. We visited Bibury to see Arlington row, and the trout farm in Bibury, we didn't expect much from the trout farm but was pleasantly suprised, we loved feeding the 1000`s of trout, and the beautiful surrounding area, this was our first visit to the cotswolds, such a beautiful place, we shall definitely visit again, and stay at Field Barn Park, loved every minute.
