Lovely peaceful site very clean, pitches are spacious and private with fully grown hedges.
Toilets and showers are very clean.
Kitchen area is very handy being indoors nice space to wash up.
There is a fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave. Plus iron and ironing board if you feel inclined!
Wardens were very helpful as well.

Lovely quiet site. Very spacious pitches and very good shower block.
Washing up facilities pitches nice and secluded due to hedging and trees etc.
I can't find any information regarding the lack of facilities for general waste and a lot of the campers didn't know this either.
Other than that I would highly recommend this site

We arrived late afternoon to a friendly greeting and shown to our pitch.
The site is very well kept with stand pipe every second pitch. Each pitch is screened by a tidy hedge.
The showers are spotlessly clean and plenty of hot water.
Already booked for the next visit!

A pleasant site to visit, large, secluded and relatively private pitches with good EHU and nearby water supply.
Clean and adequate facilities. Soo quiet - lovely.
Walk to Bourton about a mile and a half, return walk up a steep hill !

Our twelfth visit to this site (we come every year).
We cannot fault the site, good size pitches, friendly and knowledgeable on-site wardens,
Great amenities with one shower block plus two additional toilets recently added,
Adults only so quiet and relaxing, great location to explore the area, local produce available on site,
Electric on all pitches if required, water points plentiful,
Dogs catered for with own area and the stars at night are amazing.

This site is a gem, set in lovely countryside across which you can walk into Bourton which took us about 45 minutes at a fairly relaxed pace.
Some previous reviews have referred to the steep hill on the way back which worried my wife who does sometimes struggle up steep hills. However, she managed fine. In any event, if you do struggle coming back up the hill, just turn around and admire the glorious view for a while.
As for the site itself, the bushes and long grasses help to make nearly every pitch seem secluded ( note that the vegetation is now quite a bit higher than shown on the photos - there are photos in the dishwashing room showing what the site was like when it first opened in 2007 ).
The pitches are a bit uneven and we found trying to level our motorhome a bit of a challenge but that was a minor inconvenience.
The dog walk is along the side of a field for about 400 metres. You are asked to keep your dogs on a lead on the dog walk because there are hares and leverets around which is fair enough - our dog seemed to pick up their scent and would been off across the field if not on a lead.
The fields on the walk to Bourton were mostly arable or grass with no animals so it was safe to let our dog off across those.
There was one field with cows in which we skirted well round but if you do not want to go through a field with cows in there are other footpaths into Bourton which can be followed - clearly shown on the O. S. Map or the Warden will give you a map with them on.
The toilet/shower block was kept very clean. There were only three shower cubicles and two toilet cubicles but they seemed sufficient whilst we were there.
I would strongly recommend this site.

A gem of a campsite.
First visited some years ago but the site has now matured beautifully.
The shrubs and long grass make each pitch private and loads of bird life around.
Lovely walk into Burford. Highly recommend.

Lovely adult only site, large semi-secluded pitches with water/electric.
Extremely nice shower/toilet block, all scrupulously clean. Only stayed for 3 nights but back again in August.
Few noisy dogs in camper vans but to be expected these days.
Strenuous walk down/up to Bourton but worth the trip.
Thoroughly recommended.

Nature, large plots, beautiful surrounding area. Clean, well organised and thought out.
Attentive without being intrusive.
Manageable walk into gorgeous village. Slightly hilly return journey but gets easier every time!
Well positioned for local area exploration.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
