Had a great time fell lucky with weather, lots of entertainment. We loved it at night in the complex, we have no complaints
May go again one day probably as grand parents next. Good site, clean, nice staff and set out well. Nice outlook to sea too, as this site is up on the rocks.
We even found good shops and take aways in town and even good pubs.

We love Scarborough and have stayed in a static at this site before, so we thought we'd give the touring site a try. The pitch we had been allocated was fine, although on an incline. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and had booked 3 nights (cheap deal on the internet). I immediately was appalled by the state of the ladies toilet/shower block, which you could only access using a key. The key required a £10 deposit, and we were only allocated one. (We are a family of 4). The toilets themselves (seats, pans, etc) were clean, but the floor, walls, sinks were absolutely filthy for the entire duration of our stay. There were balls of hair and dirty cotton buds and hair clips on the floor on the Friday when we arrived.and the same collection of filth was still there on the Monday when we left! The cleaning of the toilet block seemed to consist of the floor being 'slopped out' with several buckets of pungent disinfectant, which didn't actually clean anything, but just sloshed the muck from one end to the other and back again. The showers themselves wouldn't run properly. The water trickled down the back wall and did not actually squirt out. According to my husband, the gents toilet block had no handwashing facilities whatsoever---no soap dispensers or blocks of soap! The dishwashing area did not have any plugs, and the best the attendant could do when we reported it, was to give us a ball of paper to jam into the plughole. On the positive side, we were pleased with the shop, bar and showbar, but these facilities (indeed all the facilities apart from the playground) were accessed by traversing a public road. We would probably go back there again, because we love Scarborough so much and there are usually cheap deals available at this park, but I will be taking a couple of washing up bowls so we can wash ourselves and our dishes without having to go near the shower area.

Arrived only to find that we were not on the list even though we had booked on line ! Then we were given 2 pitches to choose from I asked if the pitches were level and the answer I got was yes , so off we went to look at the pitches and "level" was a joke! The pitches were far from level. More like ski slopes ! So we drove round again and looked and found 3 pitches nice and level hard standing great we thought , so off we went back to the reception to ask about and all I got was "those pitches are taken" I explained that the other pitches are no good for a motorhome and the attitude I got back was "well you did not state that you had a motorhome. Those are the pitches you can have or nothing "! I was fuming! I forgot to add the shower and toilet block are porta cabins and to fill up for water they have stupid press taps that you can not connect a hose too ! Over all I think the site needs a complete re vamp ! It is cheap to book on line

Well, just got back from this poor site. Haven need to smarten this place up bigstyle. Pitches need levelling up as the site is on a hill, not a slope but a HILL! I asked for a pretty level pitch and got one with a 1m in 5m incline. Good job I had a few chocks or I would have been stumped. The top set of toilets were constantly under maintenance, wet through or stunk. The showers, only 5 out of 8 were working the doors were constantly locked. When I came to emptying the potty there was a level of liquid around the toilet, you needed wellys to go in there. The porta cabin style toilets at the bottom were locked so cant comment on these. The entertainment was good for children up to the age of 9. It is about 1/2 - 3/4 mile walk to the entertainment, the price of things are inflated as normal. Chip shop on site - everything deep fried in old manky oil, chips were awful. Thank god we only paid 20 quid for a short break. There is no beach access, only to the top of the cliffs which offer good windy views.

Stayed for 5 days, we enjoyed our holiday, kids loved the pool. Only down side was state of the toilets, they were digusting, the worsed we have ever seen. Would go back though, as we did like the site. Hopefully they will sort the problem with toilets.

Just spent a weekend here it took 1hr to get our pitch, they gave us a number to put our van,but tents blocked it tried 3 more times until we decided which pitch we wanted. Not much space crammed in like sardines so god know what it would be like in august. Toilets satisfactory needed to pay 10pound for key but got it back when you left. Park not much better one on where the statics are, better only a 15mins walk to club, pool, amusements, burger king, fish chips. Arcades were good, fish chips pricey at 5,20. Burger fries pop at burger king 6.50. They do have a restaurant at good prices a curry rice, poppodoms, for about 7.50. Good breakfast at 1.99. Club small but good prices 2 pints carling,1 large slush,1pint of coke for 8.00. Swimming pool - only 3 foot deep scraped your knees on floor when swimming. But all in all a good weekend. Only paid 23.oo for 3 adults one child.

Had a good 3 days over the bank holiday. Facilities were brilliant. Never knew we had the kids as they were at the entertainment and football pitch or swimming. Good family camping if weather is permitting, we had 2 good days and 1 bad day, raining and windy, but no complaints about the site at all. Will go back again when sunny in August.

We booked a last minute weekend break at blue dolphin on the internet only costing 15 pounds for the two of us including passes. The only niggle I had was that they had no recollection of my booking (thank goodness for booking reference etc). This said because there were no basic pitches left which we had paid for they upgraded us to an electric pitch which was better positioned. The site was very clean and tidy ,well kept and well run.it is on several levels with the main toilet facilities etc quite a walk uphill. The playground was nearby but was in a state of disrepair. the facilities on site though were very good and only a 5 minute walk away. The indoor pool was brilliant if only allowed an hour at a time swimming sessions. The entertainment on a night and daytime was as good as haven usually produce even if drinks were pricey and tasted watered down. Location couldn't be better nestled only a few miles from scarborough, filey and bridlington. All in all we had a very good break being last minute and all and for the low cost we would definitely return for a short break.

We have just returned from blue dolphin and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves BUT only because we made our own entertainment. The caravan was filthy, we had to get a cleaner to come and hoover the bedrooms again, the on site restaurant was run by spotty teenagers (badly run). We waited an hour for food, which eventually led us to ask for a refund and cancelling the order. On the plus side there is plenty to do on site for the kids and adults alike. The arcades weren't anymore expensive than others, the pool wasn't exceptional as advertised on the website but the kids had a ball, they have go karts, mini dodgems, trampolines, crazy golf. All of which you are charged extra for(except for the pool). The bar prices are reasonable for a holiday resort and the entertainers that we saw were second to none. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We ran out of gas at around ten o'clock at night and they were there changing the bottle within 5 minutes. We had a great time but there was the odd time haven could have been run much better.

Good entertainment on site but very expensive after midnight, the prices shot up without warning. We booked a late deal online and the three days cost us only £20.50 but spent £200 on site. Must admit you dont have to spend this sort of money, bit hard when you have teenagers lol. The touring site was poor and quite a walk from the entertainment. The toilets and showers were quite a walk away as the one nearest to us was shut due to vandalism. Probably would return just for the cheap deals and entertainment value
