Although this campsite has grown over the last 10 years the family run business continues to keep life outstanding friendly and simple.
Ground is flat. And site is very quiet. Mainly Campervans and Caravans but tents welcome with very large pitches.
Site well maintained. 2 washing up stations under cover, grey water and chemical disposal points. Dog washing area. Microwave, kettle, washing machine and dryer, fridge freezer cycle rack picnic tables dotted around the site.
This is not a ‘modern ‘site but it is this in my view what makes this site so relaxing.
11 amp fuse boxes so need to be careful what appliances you are running when boiling the kettle.
Ground drains very well and ground excellent for tent pegs. No light pollution. Sue works very hard to keep facilities in top condition. Steve jump started the car for us!
No rush to get off the site on last day. We were able to take our time packing the car. Love it, love it, love it.
Close to RSPB Minsmere, LeIston within walking distance. Supermarket with a family run Butcher over the road which is a must if you are going to BBQ. Local museum worth a visit.
Butchers Arms village owned pub. Good basic food. The parrot. Bit more upmarket. Fish dishes !Mmmmm.
Plenty of walks and good cycling country.

Excellent site, very clean and plenty of information on the notice board to read.
Plenty of toilet/showers. Good deep sinks for washing up, very organised area for all waste and recycle.
Very friendly, helpful people, plenty of spaces.
The town is approximately a mile walk away.
We arrived after the grass had been cut so walked this into the motorhome but still highly recommended, will visit again.

Lovely relaxed set up. Owners are very welcoming and help make the experience relaxing. Green space between pitches where the kids can play and ride bikes.
The Abbey is a close cycle ride through fields. Close to beautiful dog friendly beaches.
Campsite is family friendly and most guests were welcoming to kids.
There was a guest car that left the site every morning at 6am, with a noisy Diesel engine that did wake us up and other guests.

Lovely massive grass field, with two paddocks that can be reserved for groups/rallies.
Main field can be unlevel in places.
Quiet location.
Clean toilets & facilities.
When we were there the EHU to all the pitches tripped off twice overnight, but was quickly corrected by the on-site team.
There are many nearby POIs for all ages.

What an absolute gem of a campsite. Simple, no frills, come and go when you want, pay when you want site.
Toilet facilities are fantastic, cleaned regularly and maintained very well. Generous pitches allow plenty of free space.
Open to all camping units. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
Rates are great value and are simply charged per unit. None of this ridiculous per person, per dog and how many pairs of pants you're taking.

Wow! What an excellent place to stay. Nicely set out with very spacious pitches.
Plenty of toilets, showers ( although closed at the moment) kitchen sinks, and chemical waste.
Very friendly owners who are always around if you need them
Our first visit but certainly won't be our last

Owners are so friendly.
A short walk into the small town.
Toilets and showers are spotless. You can even walk to Sizewell beach.

Good site one of our favourites,
Plenty of room nice and clean and the grass was perfect and flat.
Plenty of dog walks along the beach and the local woods
Also there is a good walk from the site to Leiston Abbey ruins.

The campsite was lovely, clean and well maintained with great facilities.
The location was great with attractions and the beach not far away.
We certainly recommend it to anyone wishing to enjoy the local area and will likely be visiting again as some point soon.
