 Third time we’ve been here.
Lovely setting, good facilities,
The centre of Leiston is a short walk away, Aldeburgh and the coast are 4 miles away, and the people who run it are friendly and helpful.
We’ll be back

Excellent value for money. Relaxed and friendly owners. Plenty of space and good location.
Basic campsite but had everything we needed.
We had a fabulous time and would recommend.

Great site, nice friendly feel and welcoming owners. Nice location for visiting Suffolk,
Short walk from the site to Leiston Abbey and cycling distance to a lovely pub and Minsmere, Dunwich, Sizewell etc.

Excellent friendly hosts, clean shower and kitchen facilities. Big pitches and generous saving between other campers.
Ideal location for nearby Thorpeness and Aldeburgh
Short walk to nearest pub and shops.

Fantastic campsite. Susan was so friendly and helpful. Really relaxed atmosphere and brilliant location near Aldeburgh.
Highly recommend! Showers were really clean.
Kitchen includes freeze, fridge, kettle and toaster

First time here and definitely not the last! Fabulous campsite with excellent facilities and within easy reach of beach pubs and shops.
Would highly recommend. Sue the owner is sooo lovely and very helpful.
A very relaxed and easy feel about the place. Loved it.

Brilliant long weekend, loads of space, CV regs followed well, fairly powerful showers, regular cleaning of shared facilities, great weekend.
Everyone friendly and helpful, felt safe leaving tents during the day, and they are quite relaxed on check in/out times.
Very enjoyable weekend break,
Will definitely visit again

Just arrived back from an amazing stay at Applefields.
We went with friends as 2 families of 4 with a 2x 9 year olds, 1 11 year old and a 14 year old. We had a great time,
It is an amazing site, with great facilities, its peaceful, tranquil and we feel thoroughly relaxed.
The site owner could not do enough for us, she was very friendly, helpful and worked very hard especially with cleaning and being around if anything was needed. The measures/guidelines she has put in place due to covid are fantastic and not once did I worry about cleanliness.
We will definitely be back, we did not want to come home. Such good value for money.

Great campsite, highly recommend.
Campsite owner is very welcoming and happy to help. Planning to return next year.
Sizewell beach is a 45 minute walk away and Aldeburgh is a short drive.
Also short walk into Leiston town

We had a fantastic relaxing 2 night stay,
A well run site with amazing clean facilities which included washing up area, kitchen with washing machine.
Really enjoyed our stay
We will be returning soon.
