Well kept site, with all required amenities, within walking distance of town.

Very peaceful and easy to find, we would definitely stay there again.

Close to a local beach, with nice country walks.

Excellent little site everything you can need, electric, water taps at every other post, well spaced pitches,

Showers and toilets clean, even a day kennel and dog wash, also a common room and a kitchen owners very friendly,

Lovely walks from the site.

Can’t fault it we will be back in 2022

Lovely flat grass pitches. Very large field with separate camping and rally fields.

Loads of water and electric points around the outside which is hedged, there are several wooden picnic benches too.

Good draining soil, very well maintained site. Honesty box for payments. £20 night and 50p for showers.

Great spacious level access WC/shower rooms and the kitchen has freezer, fridge, microwave and £2 load washing machine.

Easy walk into Leiston but so quiet with great sunsets. Kennel available to hire.

Only thing missing which would make it perfect is a fenced dog exercise area. No facilities for children, which suits me fine, lol.

There's also a communal room which I didn't see.

Good mobile and satellite signals. No WiFi.

Would recommend bakes n butties for breakfast and a walk on sizewell beach after

We enjoyed our visit to this site. The pitches were generous and the grass thankfully cut really short as we went in October when it can be very wet with dew in the morning.

There are lovely footpaths leading from the site to Leiston abbey which is only half a mile away. The washrooms have a large shower, wash hand basin and wc.

The planting of a few trees or hedges would help break up the plainness of the field but still an above average site.

Their honesty system was a first for me, Would we come again - definitely.

Second stay there 3 nights myself and my partner then at the weekend our daughter and grandchildren joined us with second tent.

Fantastic site, lots if space and owners really friendly each day making time to chat.

There is a room people in tents can shelter if it's really bad weather, even a secure dog kennel.

Well equipped kitchen if you need to use it also books, dvds you can borrow.

They even have small stall with fresh veg.

Kids loved it we will be going back, with and without little ones.

This campsite is everything we wanted, countryside, peaceful, but within 10 minutes walk of a small town.

Showers, toilets and kitchen kept clean. Very relaxed atmosphere, friendly owners. Excellent food at pub/hotel The Whitehorse,

Good old fashioned pub The Engineers for real ales. Big co-op for shopping and regular buses just outside campsite.

Our stay wasn't long enough, will definitely be back.

Lovely open site, very relaxed environment.

Plenty of space. Good walking locally.

Facilities were good.

Hope to come again next year.

Grass pitches worn due to dry weather, but this was not detrimental to our stay

I stayed for 11 nights on touring caravan pitch with 5amp hook up (most are 10amp). I was told I could always move my caravan as 10 amp hook up would provide a lot more electrical appliances, especially if all switched on at the same time. To be honest, I didn't have any problems with the 5amp usage on any appliance.

The toilets and showers could be used by both sexes, there are no female or male toilets - like the old days. The amenities were clean and tidy.

There are several recycling bins and 2 outdoor wash basins (under a roof though). There was a notice board, but I didn't see any local places of interest advertised.

For instance, there's Leiston Abbey, Dunwich Heath, Rspb Minsmere and a very nice traditional fish and chips at Leiston!

On the whole I enjoyed this peaceful site, as there are many plots to choose from but I assume this site is packed during the school holidays.

One last important reminder, take care on leaving this site as the road can be busy from both directions.

If you get a chance, gaze at the stars at night without any light pollution and listen out to the owls calling!

Had an absolutely awesome 5 nights here in our tent, nice well mown flat firm pitch (very hard, I assume it had been dry for a while, but this is good because they didn’t pull out with the wind, take decent pegs, I used Tarzan pegs and a big hammer, and screw in pegs with a drill-driver),

With electric hookup and water point adjacent (clean portable water points are all over the place near the electric hook ups),

Clean showers (not on a timer) and toilets, with washing machine and tumbler facilities, microwave, kettle, fridge, freezer, washing up areas with big catering type sinks amongst other things.

Communal area to sit in under cover with sofas chairs and tables should the weather turn too rough. Friendly folk, no deposit required, showers (50p) and clothes washing/drying is extra (2 quid a wash load, 2 quid a tumble load, which we used, but you pay in full to include all costs when you leave.

Nice and quiet at night. No shop on site, but Leiston is very close with a Co-Op, hardware stores, clothing shops, Chinese, Fish And Chips, Italian, Kebabs, pizza, but far enough out of town on the edge of farmland to be peaceful with no traffic noise, no dislikes at all.

Local pubs selling Adnams, (Broadside gravity fed at Middleton Bell), easy reach of Woodbridge, Saxmundham, Southwold, Dunwich etc. Top site.

Will definitely return. Thanks very much. A+++++++++++++
