We stayed at Pond Farm for 3 nights & enjoyed every minute of it. Sue is a great host & made us feel settled on our arrival.
The campsite is great, quiet & very large pitches. What we enjoyed most was the natural, homely feel of it all.
The kitchen is great, really handy use of fridges & freezers. The honesty box system made me feel like part of a trusted group & the kitchen is full of handy bits & pieces all really cheaply priced.
The showers & toilets were well kept & clean & whilst we didn't use them washing machines are available. Also handy is the lock up phone charging point.
Well situated to close by Sheringham, Cromer & Sidestrand, we enjoyed the local pub The Foundry Arms a great deal too, really friendly staff!
A great break away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life, calm, peaceful & friendly.
We will absolutely be back asap!

Stayed over a long weekend, very quiet- only mobile unit on the field. 4 miles from Cromer the 'country lane way' Great for cycling. Good range of facilities including kitchen which included a microwave! Toilets very clean and Sue (hostess) very friendly-suited us down to the ground! Would stay again- Good Pub 1 km away down the lane. Good views from the field we were in. Very impressed with the tiling on the toilet block floor only to figure out that it was a PVC covering towards the end of our stay!

We spent a week at this brilliant little site in August and had a quiet relaxing stay. There were three toilets and three showers plus sinks for washing.
Everything was clean and tidy. There was also a washing machine and tumble drier. Just across the yard there was a small area with toasters and Microwaves for use at no cost.
There were also fridges for use by the campers as well as a well stocked fridge and freezer with a honesty box for payment. O
Our hosts were really nice and were always around to help if needed.
All in all a gem of a site in a peaceful location.

First year camping as a family, and, have been here 3 times this year. Although basic the toilet/shower block has 3 showers and 3 toilets was always very clean and tidy and we never had to wait.
There was also access to 2 washing machines and 2 dryers (which meant not having to take shed loads of clothes).
The kitchen block was a god send with access to fridges, freezers, 2 microwaves, 2 toasters.
2 fields, one for families and other for couples. The kids had a great time, making lots of friends.
We will be going back next year.

Just returned today after a 3 night bank holiday weekend stay. I really enjoyed my stay at this site, the description on the main page for the site I found to be very accurate.
The proprietor (Sue) I found to be very helpful and welcoming, everything on the site was well organised maintained and thought about.
The toilet block/shower block and kitchen area was cleaned regularly. In the kitchen area you were able to buy some basics such as milk eggs bacon etc.
The pub which is 1 mile down the lane (The foundry Arms) I found to be superb the staff were friendly the food was great and most importantly the ale was excellent.

Toilet/shower block clean and well stocked with toilet paper, soap and hand dryers. Showers free with good water pressure and hot water. Also washing machine and tumble dryer for a fee, but we didn't use them, so can't comment further.
Kitchen including three washing up sinks, with one water heater for them to share - hot water became disappointing during peak washing-up times. Fridge and freezer free for campers to use, but we didn't bother as we have just bought a highly efficient cool box and wanted to test it properly. Some food and basic camping equipment available to buy from the kitchen - honesty box system.
Area around these blocks is lit at night, with solar lights and some lights on sensors. These lights didn't bother us on our pitch. The rest of the site is pretty dark.
Because the site is so small it seems friendly and safe, the children (our three aged between 4 and 9) could wander about safely, although our four-year-old couldn't open the door to the loo block unaided.
The site is rather windy - so close to the coast. There are some trees and hedges which probably help, but still worth taking extra care erecting your tent and possibly bring a wind break to make sitting and cooking outside easier. Our pitch was fairly lumpy ground, but with airbeds we didn't really notice - just hard to find a place to put a chair where it didn't fall down a hole. On the other hand it was perfect ground for pegs, went in fairly easily, and then held on to them until we had to get them out, when they came out fine.
Many near by beaches within easy driving distance - Cromer and Sheringham if you want fish and chips and other 'attractions'. We also walked to the beach at Trimingham, (about a mile, but down a steep cliff path at the end), which was a lovely beach and quiet (not many people prepared to cope with the cliff?). The beach at Overstrand is also lovely, down a steep concrete ramp, which became rather slippery when wet.
The pub in Northrepps (The Foundry Arms) was very family friendly, they cooked a special meal for our fussy daughter, but service was slow and they don't even open for dinner until 6. 30pm, so the children were pretty hungry by the time they got their dinners at about 7. 30pm. The portions were huge. The walk back in the dark up a narrow country lane was a bit spooky, but we took a torch so we could make sure that car drivers saw us.
The cafe at Overstrand (Cliff Top Cafe) was good food, with a good range to suit everyone. Quite a small cafe and when it rained and everyone decided that the cafe was suddenly a good idea it was pretty crowded.

Stayed at this pleasant camp site for just the night (cycle touring). Good sized pitches along with countryside views - quite remote really! More than adequate toilet/shower block, tidy and clearly was kept clean. Also, no queuing for the showers in the morning - lovely!
For me, the nice feature of the site is the kitchen. There is an honesty box system, which seems to work well. Being able to buy some ice cold drinks at the end of the day was a pleasant suprise!
All in all, a good site with a friendly and helpful owner - will visit again next year!

Our first camping experience for many years! Choose an awful weekend when it came to the weather, but Pond Farm is lovely. Peaceful and very calming - just the antidote to busy working lives!
The facilities are great - the kitchen with all the 'extras' is really wonderful - free use of fridge/freezer, toasters and microwaves. Didn't need to buy anything in the way of food, but emergency rations are available, along with 2nd hand books, and some little accessories, are available to buy through an honesty box. Just hope no one abuses this system!.
Toilets and showers fabulous for a small site. Couldn't wish for more.
Everything you need and want for a quiet time away from the rat race. Booking again very soon.

We spent two nights at this site. It was lovely. The owner welcomed us and showed us around. It was a fairly quiet time before the school holidays and we could park up anywhere on the field.
The toilets and showers were spotless with plenty of hot water. The kitchen facilities were brilliant.
We would definitely go there again and stay longer. It was a quiet area and very relaxing. Brilliant for the cost. There was so much information about the surrounding area and activities which was very helpful.
We followed the directions for a walk which was very good for an evening stroll. The owners had gone to a lot of trouble to ensure everything was provided including toaster, microwave, fridges etc. Which would be particularly good for people in tents.

We stayed for one night and found this to be a brilliant site.
The owner was very pleasant. We were shown to our pitch which was large.
The showers and toilets were very clean all the time. The owners must have been up very early cleaning them before everyone started using them in the morning. The toilets were always well stocked with toilet roll.
The kitchen area is a brilliant facility which was well stocked with lots of different food in a fridge freezer for you to buy - placing the money in a honesty box. You could even buy just one egg if you wanted!
There is also washing up facilities in the kitchen and a toaster microwave and a burco for tea or coffee.
Someone was making toast late at night which made me feel hungry.
It also has a washer and tumble dryer in the same block as the toilets/showers.
The site has two fields and operates a no noise late at night policy.
If I was in this area again I would be using this site again.
