We had a wonderful weekend at Pond Farm. The pitch was spacious and in a lovely rural setting. Facilities were excellent with luxurious wash/toilet block, well equipped kitchen including food and camping equipment available to buy. Sue was very helpful and friendly and lent us a couple of outdoor chairs to put by our tent.
The site was very quiet at night, we had the best nights sleep in a tent ever.
It's quite a walk to nearby shops/pubs etc but very accessible by car within a few minutes from Cromer.
We highly recommend Pond Farm and will definitely visit again one day.

We stayed here for a week with a tent and ended the previous 3 months drought in East Anglia! The small site is reasonably level and the unisex facilities are quirky and unique but add to the Pond Farm experience.
There is plenty of hot water, free freezer use and a well stocked honesty shop. Campsite staff all friendly and helpful. No facilities for children. 15 minute walk to nearest 'locals' pub.
The walk to Cromer along the beach is fantastic and the nearby town of Sherringham worth a visit. Good walking country. C
ampsite ideal for couples who don't want to join in with the crowds at more commercialised sites and enjoy more traditional camping.

Just returned after a three night stay at Pond farm,
All I can say is what a great site. On arrival we were shown the facilities ie, kitchen, shower etc.
Then to our pitch, plenty of room for our large 5 berth, plus car with room to spare.
Lovely quiet site with no road noise or light pollution.
One of the best sites we have stayed at, very reasonable price for the amount of facilities on offer, (£42 two people three nights)
Will give 9/10. Would have been a full house but pitches are a bit uneven, and sloping but nothing we couldn't live with.
Will be returning again to this little gem.

Myself, my partner and our dog stayed here for just one night. We wanted to get away on our rest day and looking at the weather reports this location suggested the possibility of sun!
On arrival we were met with the extremely friendly site owner, she was very helpful and essentially gave us a tour, the site is only small but it was still helpful.
We were then showed to our pitch in quite a small field, there was only one other tent in the field so we could pick where ever we wished. Clearly it was a very quiet night which is always good.
The next morning I could see the facilities, quite frankly they were excellent, far surpassed my expectations of a small inexpensive campsite. Clean, modern, working is all I would say. There was even an honesty based tuck shop where snacks, other food, toilet roll, tooth brush etc could be purchased.
There is apparently a walk to the nearest beach which we decided to drive to! Very nice beach.
All in all a good campsite, my only problem would be in the summer it may be a bit packed as it is a small field. Then again they may have a strict cull on the amount of campers so I may be being unfair.

I stayed at Pond Farm for two nights with a couple of mates and my 3 year old son (Charlie). The site was an instant hit with Charlie owing to a disused tractor in the corner of the family field.
When we pulled up we received a warm welcome and were shown the amenities and the family field (there's a separate, quieter field for grown-ups). The facilities were great, the showers were hot and the whole toilet block was clean. Just outside the toilet block there is a drinking water tap, waste disposal area and an airline for inflating beds.
Head into the campers kitchen and you're presented sinks for washing up and a bank of fridges and freezers, a couple of microwaves and a couple of toasters, all free for campers use. One of the fridges and freezers has some basic provisions in it that are available for sale (there’s an honesty box system and the prices look like they’re probably cost price) similarly there are some cans of food, small gas cylinders, tent pegs etc. So if you have forgotten something you should be ok.
We had a lovely stay and hopefully will be returning next year, bringing my wife and daughter along too!

Hi having had a few years away from this site it was nice to return with the grandchildren and find the services as good as ever. There may lack the big sites facilities but it is made up in the friendliness and services they do provide like use of microwaves, and fridge/freezers for all at no extra charge. They even provide a basic shop of necessities. All the facilities provided are clean and checked regularly. As to the unishowers and toilets though only three of each we had no waiting for use. Most of the other campers are friendly and peace comes at 10.00pm as requested. Site is on an slight incline so the earth moves a little in the night, but not a lot. You are also near to a lot of great sandy beaches for the days but not much night life a couple of local pubs or into Cromer.

We stayed at pond farm with our two boys. The youngest had never been, he loved it.
The pitch was quite large, could fit your car next to your tent which was very handy. The owners were very kind & welcoming, we left our mugs at home and they kindly lent us two.I liked the idea of using the kettle and fridge, came in handy.
The shower block was small with only 3 loos and 3 showers. It didn't bother us as we never had to wait. Both toilets and showers were clean. I would say a small shelf in the shower would come in handy though.
We will be going again very soon :)

Thank you for such a friendly, warm reception! We stayed for 3 nights whilst the site was very quiet.
There were lovely hot showers and the loos were always clean. I would have preferred single sex washing block, but this was a small annoyance. The kitchen with 2 microwaves, toasters, fridges and a large freezer made it very easy to keep milk and food fresh.
Lovely location with 25 min walk to the beach and lovely local pub. We will definitely return.

Have just returned after spending 4 nights. Very satisfied and very good value for money. Quiet site and not overcrowded
Only downfall was not enough toilets and showers when the site got busy, otherwise this is a very good site. Site owners very helpful. Free microwaves and toasters and also free airline to pump up airbeds and will definitely be returning

This was a last minute booking and I was pleased they could accommodate us. I was also impressed that although it was a bank holiday weekend they didn't insist on us booking for 3 nights as many sites do. It's in a nice quiet location in the countryside but we found it quite easily.
The site itself is very basic. The one shower block is breeze blocks with a corrugated metal roof. There are 3 toilets on one side and 3 showers on the other. Also in this block is the washing up area and laundry area. It is unisex, which I found a bit uncomfortable and I would have preferred the wash basins to be in cubicles. The showers are good but the dressing area has muddy wooden duck boards which make it difficult to get dressed without getting dirty again!
My main issue though was the pitch we were on which sloped quite noticeably in not one but two directions. It took us a few minutes to work out the best way to pitch the tent and each morning we found the airbed had slid down and across by about 6 inches! Looking at the other pitches in the field they all seemed to be sloping too.
Aside from that no real complaints but I don't think we'll be staying there again. It's a bit too basic for me.
