Nice and easy to find it, plenty space for our tent and car, very quiet, nice atmosphere.
Sanitar grup very clean no matter what hour you go there. Maybe more advertising about shower (you need coins for it to running) and some hangers to leave your towel.

This is nice campsite located near the lovely town of Lyme Regis, with a friendly welcome on arrival. There is a riverside path down to Lyme Regis which you can follow from the campsite - it takes about 25-30 minutes to do that.
Alternatively you can easily drive in just a few minutes to Lyme Regis. The campsite has a terraced arrangement with flat pitches. Two-thirds of campers are mostly in camper vans, the rest in tents, and a smattering of motorhomes, trailer tents, and camping trailer pods, like a Go-Pod.
Nice clean facilities, with two toilet / shower blocks, one runs off solar. Washing machines and cool pack freezers in one of the facility blocks. Washing-up area is fine with sinks and running hot water. For the showers you needs 20p coins.
Pizza van visits on Friday evenings and curries on Saturday evening. Bread fresh available in the morning and can be ordered too the day before from the campsite’s shop. Lots of recycling facilities on site and freshwater points are plentiful.
Some of the wardens can be a bit officious. They like you to park your car / vehicle in an exact position on your pitch. They made some campers move their tents on their pitches to point a different way, but not sure why.
When both myself and my brother entered the site one day the wardens chased after both of us asking why we were parking our respective vehicles on our allocated pitches in the way they had previously requested, even though we were displaying the site stickers in the required position on our windscreens, and there’s no indication in the site rules that campers re-entering the site should stop at reception to be re-checked.
So, overall a nice campsite, but some peculiarities in the way some of the wardens approached their interactions with campers.

I really like this site: it's beautiful, maintained to an exceptionally high standard, and really well located. The ground is terraced pitches (stony) with lawn-like grass. EHU is 10A only.
The facilities are good: very nicely maintained. NB there are no plugs at the washing up sinks. In low season it can take a couple of minutes for the water to run hot. This is most frustrating in the showers, where you have to pay 20p for four minutes of water, which comes out at disappointingly poor pressure. I understand the reasoning, but it's already an expensive site and this system is even more irritating than push buttons. The washing machine was out of action during our stay, as is the upper chemical disposal point, permanently.
The on site shop is quite extensive, though the stock was understandably limited so late in their season. There's a useful shop in Uplyme, a big Tesco in Axminster and many more interesting options for stocking up in the local area.
At night Hook Farm enjoys plenty of owls and fully dark skies - bring a torch. I think I saw bats, too. Lovely.
There's good walking right from site, including the pleasant riverside walk down into Lyme. This takes you to the Town Mill and Coombe Street, one of my favourite parts of town.
I do think Hook Farm could be improved if it were less polished and the management were more chilled about it. It's probably the most rulesy site I've ever visited and gives you the sense their clients are a nuisance and that without close supervision they'll be a risk to the perfect running of the site.

Great camp-site with all the usual facilities in great condition and very clean.
They have very helpful staff; not only to give directions for great walks to the coast but when a fuse blew on campervan, they were very helpful and found a replacement.
A great campsite with very helpful staff.
Highly recommended for a stay.

Amazing! Site very clean and tidy, toilet/shower block VERY clean. Shop on site very handy.
Lovely friendly staff, we took out two small dogs Titch and Ted, they and us loved the river walk, if you don’t do or go anywhere else, do this walk!
Very pretty not far into the town; hubby has bad knees, but he managed the 1. 4 miles. There is a viaduct up the hill from the campsite too.
Only point, make sure you got enough ratchets on your handbrake as it’s all a bit steep, but beautiful views all round.
There are four dog friendly beaches all year round, best one is at Charmouth a few miles east.
Great pub down by the Cob harbour, dog friendly too.
We will be back!

- Large Terraced site on hillside above Uplyme
- most pitches appeared flat. Some gently sloping
- Lovely views of surrounding countryside
- It seems that the owners are in the process of upgrading facilities ( in particular, with new toilet block at the bottom of the site).
- We used the toilet block at the top end of the site which was large, very clean and well equipped.
- 20p pieces required for the showers (giving good hot shower for a perfectly adequate 4 mins. ). 20p pieces available from Reception.
- Shower cubicles nice
- Not too much to divert tourist in UpLyme itself.
- Beautiful 40 min. Walk along River Lim to Lyme Regis town centre.
- I read there was hourly bus service to/from Uplyme/Lyme Regis - but, did not get round to trying this.

Ideally placed campsite a mile or so from Lyme Regis in the village of Uplyme.
Very friendly and efficient check in.
Shop has basic goods and amenities. Site has different levels and very private.
Oilet block looks new and spotless.
Walk to Lyme is through woods and past river Lim. Lots to do in Lyme.
Definitely be back for longer next time.

This is a lovely site - if you are a walker you will be very happy - it has a public footpath running through the site with good signage - as others have said there is also a path running from the village down to Lyme Regis which is lovely.
The downsides are - the waste disposal/chemical disposal can be quite a trek depending where you are on the site - but for a lot of us, it was an uphill trek!
The showers are operated by 20p pieces so as not to waste water — unfortunately, I had to waste quite a bit of water waiting for the water to become not quite lukewarm and with all the doors open it was chilly! Another camper did complain about the shower temperature but it didn’t improve!
The facilities were all well kept and the little shop was very useful.
Would I go again - absolutely - overall it was a great place to stay and the walking was brilliant
