Good campsite to visit with young children. Plenty of room for tents. The toilet blocks are plentiful and very clean with lots of hot water. Good play area although its a bit of a walk to get to it. The children's playbarn next to the pub located in the campsite is excellent. It is nice to have a drink knowing that the children are having a safe great time next door and it closes at 10.30pm. Good campsite for exploring Conwy Castle and Llandudno beach. There is a Tescos on the roundabout just before the castle which is ideal as there isnt a shop on the campsite.

We arrived at the park expecting a muddy pitch, but to our surprise the pitches were dry and most importantly BIG! This site is by far the biggest we have camped on and each plot of pitches are divided up by hedgerows and trees which makes things a lot more quaint. There are plenty of toilet and shower blocks which are cleaned everyday. The Pub is reasonably priced and the play area is excellent. The site is about a 5 minute drive from Conwy and there is also a large Tesco close by. My only gripe is that there's no shop for the basics, so its either a 5 minute drive to a small Premier shop on the corner or 8 minute drive to Tesco. Overall, a good base for touring North Wales. Definitely recommended and wouldn't hesitate to book again!

We stayed at Conwy Touring Park on our first ever camping trip, and glad we did to! We are a family of 4, 2 kids 2 and 5. Facilities were great, showers pretty clean, are a little old but were cleaned a couple of times a day, they did get dirty but that's the users faults not the staff. There were plenty of showers and toilets so no waiting around and the sinks for dish washing were also a godsend and didn't have to wait long at busy times (and there were plenty of not busy times). For those who need it there is a plug socket in the shower room for a hairdryer (didn't take mine but may next time). Always plenty of hot water to. Discovered the drying room in another toilet block which would be good for wet towels etc if weather was bad.
The children's play areas are great, something for toddlers up to teenagers so all bases covered. We were there over a weekend and the kids entertainer was great, good old fashioned Punch and Judy and a magic show :-)
We went into Conway which is a lovely little town, great fish and chips and chances, if the tide is in, for the kids to do a bit of crabbin'!
We had so much fun we are going back this weekend.

Well, firstly we were refused a booking for x3 35+ adult couples. We only wanted to book so our pitches could be allocated nearby as we were aware the site was very large but for whatever reason we were declined Anyway, we managed to book individually and only because we were attending an event in the nearby town over the weekend.
The camp is very large and even though is reasonable close to the town the walk would not be easy, steep hills and the road has no path or lighting and could be dangerous during the night-time . So taxi is the best form of transport to town (£10 return)
The site is lovely and green and nice little areas for the pitches, we had a large pitch
The shower blocks could do with hot water and a clean and the security is a bit OTT.
The price for this site is well above reasonable. Overall, not bad but due to the problems with booking we would not return.

This being our first time camping, we chose here to get accustomed to the ‘much talked about’ camping etiquette. We called the site as we left our home and we were told to just turn up as no bookings could be taken over the phone for a ‘same day arrival’.
The reception was very helpful upon arrival - check-in was painless. If I recall the price for the night was around £12. Once passed the security barrier we were directed to our pitch which was close to the amenities. We only stayed one night to get a feel for pitching our new tent etc and this was an ideal site.
My only gripe was the noise later on as the on-site pub/club let out. Not much respect was paid for the campers who had retired.
The site seemed very tidy and well looked after, and the views of the Welsh countryside from the site are fantastic.
All-in-all we would return.

Stayed for two nights (had stayed years before, but that was before we had children)
In our parties were 5 families with 5 tents (10 adults & 9 children) on arrival we got very excited driving round the very long drive, we arrived at reception and was greeted with a large barrier to speak through to the receptionist this was a worrying start.
Was given all are information and gate barrier code and drove through to red section which wasn’t far from reception, we were put in a cul-de-sac area which we all thought great no need to worry about noise and the children could play at ease.
We all set to in putting up are tents up not a problem when you have a pop-up tent so within half an hour the Bacardi breeze’s was open.
All the essentials (toilets and water) were in a short walking which was fine for us adults but the play area for the children was to far to allow them to go.
All in all weekend was great good weather and good company.
Too far away to the play area would suggest as the campsite is so big that they put smaller ones around the site.
Toilets were clean however, there was no soap dispenser or hand dryers in our block, showers were hot but found having to push the button in every 12 seconds a little annoying.
Couldn’t find the waste disposable areas to empty our portable loo drove round the site and looked on map of the park but still couldn’t find it.

This was our 2nd visit to Conwy Touring Park - First time in May for 4 nights - this time we went for 4 nights again but our friends pitched next to us. The site is excellent for locality - close to Llandudno, Conwy, Anglesey, Betws-y-Coed . The toilet blocks are plentiful - 1 block per camping section - Blues, Reds, Yellows, The colour of area denotes the type of unit you had - be it a tent without EHU, or a Caravan with EHU, then there is the size of Electric you require - 5 amp - 10 amp - 16 amp. The pitches are segregated into section of approx 6 - 20 units - tents - motorhomes - caravans. We had a perfect pitch allocated to us - but if I tell you which one it is - then when I need to book again - I may not be able to book it ! ha ha. Back to the toilets/ shower block. They are clean and I always found to have hot water in the shower. The shower works with a button you press which allows about 10 - 15 seconds of powerful water - you just keep pressing the button each time is slows. - There is a handryer in the toilets which I used as a start to drying my hair - then finished off at the tent. No electric points there tho for your own hairdryer - In the mens loos there were points for shavers apparently. The wildlife is quite noisy in the early morning - the birds squawking and swooping above the tents, we also had a thief in our tent - a squirrel - ha ha - not till we puts the larder cupboard away - did we realise the squirrel had gnawed at the canvas on the cupboard to get to the bread ! cheeky little blighter, aw. We did go to the pub on the site on the weekend and it was quiet - but very nice. As we have 2 pooches - the walks through the site are brilliant - you aim for the edge of the site and you end up overlooking the Estuary - fantastic view - rather hilly and walking on slate - make sure your footwear is ok. By the end of the weekend our pooches use to hide when we got their leads out ! Oh not more walking ! Going back last weekend in Sept for the Fireworks Display - I believe it is fantastic - Get booking - bring a heater - may be a bit cool at night ha ha.

This is a large commercial site but once you are on you wouldn't know, the site is a large wooded hill with the river Conwy running round 3 sides of it, the pitches are in cleared terraces so you are effectively in a small field with a few other campers all the others are hidden by trees .
There are 3 voltages for EHU on site & you pay respective of your needs these are divided into different coloured areas so you get a choice of voltage or area.
We went right at the beginning of the season & there were only 2 club rallies on site apart from us so it was really quiet but I imagine it doesnt get too rowdy anyway as they seem to be particular who they let on,2 lads & a girl in an old transit turned up,they told them they were full.
In the silly months July & August it is expensive but early & late this is an affordable site.
5 mins from Conway its handy for the shops & the A55 to get you about.
There is a decent club/bar on site which is comfy & has a log fire when needed, the prices weren't too bad either for proper beer.
Didnt look for food & know there wasn't a shop but there is a mini market in the first village out & right from the gate also a decent chippie behind it.
Entry to the site is by pass word & everyone is different but very easy to remember.
The facilities are OK & clean but they weren't all open while we were there.
Pitches are a good size with plenty of room for vehicles.
Dogs are allowed but I think there are No Dog areas as well for those who don't like them.
All in all this was a well run site but making the most of the peak season while they can so I would return to Conwy but I would go early or late.

We chose Conwy Touring Park as the site for our first family camping trip and were more than happy with our experience. The staff were amazingly friendly and our arrival was dealt with quickly.
The security gates worked well and it was reassuring to have our own personal entry code that logged us into and out of the site.
Toilet blocks and showers seemed plentiful and were always clean and in good working order.
The site although very large manages to feel really homely and un-intimidating as it's segregated into nice small fields separated by borders of trees. Add to that some spectacular views and the great playgrounds for the kids and I'd happily recommend it to anyone and we'll probably return.

Just returned back from a three night stay at Conwy touring park and what a beautiful site it was. We loved the layout of the park and it offered all the advantages of a huge site but had the feeling of a lovely cosy small site. There was no one massive field for lots of units, rather it was designed so that only about 10 units were on each well sheltered area. Toilets, washing up and showers were plenty (Although we did not stay at peak season). The children loved Merlins and the two other outdoor parks. The bar had a lovely country atmosphere to it and it was certainly not rowdy. We enjoyed it very much here. It however could benefit from a shop as this is a big site and I don't understand why they wouldn't put a shop here. Also the showers had nowhere to hang your clean clothes and towels without getting soaked through. A small but annoying point. All in all though we will certainly come here again.
