Had a great time at this site, found the smaller field great, the toilets clean and showers hot. The only thing that would stop me whole hearted reccomending this site to others was the steep walk to the clubhouse, I found it ok and I'm pretty unfit but I know a lot of others thought it was too much. The site has a numerical code system to enter or leave and this made us feel very safe. Children loved the club house which had a free indoor play area only open at 7pm onwards. I will definetly be returning

Spent one night at Conwy in the rain (no fault of the site obviously). Staff were friendly and efficient and toilets modern and clean although no mirrors in them. Bit disappointed with the pitch we were given, the grass was really long. The slope down to the toilet block from the field was like a mud bath but again that was down to the weather. Didn't get to sample the bar as we hibernated from the rain the majority of the time but was impressed with security, there is a barrier with a pincode which is needed to enter and leave the site. Worth a visit as Conwy is lovely.

Having visited this site at short notice and after reading the other reviews, well what can I say! The staff where very friendly both at reception and in the on site bar. There is a good indoor play area for the little ones but it only opens when the bar opens usually 19:00hrs and for some reason they had shut the Pool Table room which left nothing for the older kids / adults to do. The site looked neglected and this was confirmed by others who have visited this site on a number of occasions. As previously stated, the site is large and sprawling and can be a good walk from the bar / play area. Site not recommended for the infirm or wheelchairs, the roads are steep on most of this site. In the four days we where there, we never sighted a warden or anyone else checking the site etc. apart from a cleaner who was doing the toilet blocks. The showers and toilets are basic with no soap dispensers so you need to take your own when using the toilet. Hot water was plentiful but the shower could do with a little more room to change in. We took our grandson, 2yrs, who really enjoyed the play area and mixing with the other children. All in all, you would need to visit the site to decide whether you like it or not and for your first visit make it a short one, just in case.

Stayed in the Green section which was no dogs approx 10 tents in this section, the kids loved it, the washing facilities were excellent. The entrance to the site has a security barrier (which you are given your own unique code on arrival). Cons The bar and indoor play area did not open until 7pm. Would have liked the bar to have been opened like normal pub hours On site store was a takeaway place with limited provisions. We used Tescos for milk, bread and eggs which was about a 10 minute car ride. Summary An excellent site would use again if in the area regardless of the few niggles.

We stayed here for 5 days and would definitely return to this site. It is in a beautiful setting, just a 2 minute walk from our tent and we were surrounded by hills with a beautiful river running through. The toilets and showers were always clean and tidy and the bar area was enjoyable. We liked that the site was divided up into smaller sections by trees so although the overall site was large, it had the feel of a smaller, cosier site. Would recommend this site to anyone!

Although only spent one night on this site I found it to be very pleasant. The staff at the reception were very efficient and altogether a lovely experience. It was my first time touring and I loved it. Only one fault I could find was skips for refuge seemed to be full, so need to be emptied more frequent. 8/10

Very big site, well maintained, very friendly site. We camped in the purple area, just a quick walk from the toilet and shower block ( both very clean) showers are free and lovely and hot. Good size pitches and flat too. We stopped a little out of main season so bar and kids play area only open Fri and Sat evenings and were a good walk away. This is a great value for money site. We will be definitely coming back. For those travelling along a55 I would recommend getting off at Llandudno junction then head into Conwy as the first views of the castle as you approach for the 1st time is stunning

Really enjoyed our stay at Conwy Touring Park. The facilities and security were really good (those that we used anyway). We were in the red zone which was way too far from the pub and playground etc and wasn't really suitable for walking back to the tent at night with two kids so couldn't have a drink until we got back! Conwy itself has lots of places to visit and some good shops/takeaways.

This site wasn't my cup of tea - too big, our pitch was a little untidy and I felt a bit ripped off by the fees as when we booked via their website we were not told there was an extra charge for electric hook-up, and as a result paid an extra £17.
My daughter and her friend however, loved it - they camped out, we caravanned, so it was worth it for their enjoyment. It is in a lovely setting, with stunning views and I wouldn't let my experience put anyone else off trying it for themselves.

August 2005 We camped in the Blue area and found it was fantastic! Yes there was a short walk to the bar but the scenery along the way made up for it. The site is huge but it felt like it was much smaller due to it being sectioned off by trees-there were only about 10 other campers in our area. The toilet, shower and waching up facilities were good and always clean with plenty of hot water. Because of the site being sectioned off there never seemed to be a queue for the toilets/showers. The bar was in an old country pub style and we spent a few nice evenings there. We don't have kids but there seemed to be lots for them to do-we did have a go on the death slide and see-saws though! The site is very secure with an entry code required when you enter or leave the site. The tiny camp shop could have done with being bigger and better stocked. Conwy town was too far to walk to but a taxi at night only cost us £3. Would definitely return to this lovely site again!
