July 2003 Very well laid out site with fantastic views. Reception staff ecxellent with very fast booking in service. Park spilt into individual sections which was nice, we were in the blue section which i would recommend.Unfortunately there is 1 major draw back with this site and that is the toilet/shower blocks. They were very dirty with mold ridden shower curtains, blocked plug holes, and dirty floors. My son picked up 2 varrucas whilst there. My other young son refused to shower because the smell was that bad! Such a shame as the site is otherwise fantastic.

June 2003 arrived in tent to find a large site sectioned off into smaller private areas. Spectacular views over valley. site fees found to be almost half the price of other less well equipped sites in the area. toilets and showers found to be clean with plenty of hot water. Pub was great for families with large indoor and outdoor areas, along with a member of staff to supervise in the evenings. only critcism was ground found to be hard for tent pegs. this site is well worth a visit.

April 2003 What a cracking site! It has something for everyone with a pub, an indoor & outdoor childrens play area, fantastic views. Showers were clean although we have a baby and getting him dressed in the shower area was not easy. The best thing for me was they didn't mind us having a small camp fire - fantastic, I will go back.

June 2001 An absolutley brilliant site, set on the hillside of the Conwy Valley with stunning views. Very well managed, clean and tidy. Showers and toilet blocks are excellent. Bar with entertainment at weekends. Large childrens room adjoining bar. Outside play area. Good shop on site and in my opinion the best site in the area.

April 2003 I was very surprized on arrival at how large the site was but was pleased when I diacovered it spilt into smaller more private sections. Booking in was quick and friendly and all the areas were well sign-posted. On arriving at our designated pitch we found the ground quite hard and a bit uneven but this didn't cause too much of a problem. The shower block nearest our pitch was very clean and quite big with a constant supply of hot water. Considering the time of year we visited (pre Easter week) I found the cost very cheap, their peak time didn't start until the Good Friday which was when we left. Had a visit to the adventure playground which was well maintained and seemed safe. The only draw back was that we did have some trouble with a group of people who were noisy up until 1am and I wasn't sure if there was a quieter time curfew so I didn't feel like I could do much about the situation. A good addition to the site would be a small shop selling just the essentials. All in all a large but nice site and good value for money.

July 2002 The site is massive but split into loads of individual areas. The views of the Conwy estuary are beautiful. The site is high in the hills and the pitches are all on different levels. The ground is quite hard with tree roots and slate so putting tent pegs in is hard work. The toilets are clean and the showers are free but the shower curtains smelt of mould. The kids park is very good with a zip wire and large slide etc. There is a excellent pub with a childrens room with indoor climbing frames etc. and a ball pit. Drinks are very reasonably priced. There is also entertainment on some days, punch and Judy, face painting and morris dancers. The area is full of wildlife and there are plenty of walks to go on. The only drawback is the lack of a shop on site. The site would be unsuitable for disabled people as there are lots of steep banks. I would definately recommend this site, I have been 3 times already.

june 2002 very large site, but spaced into small sections if at the bottom of site green fields section this is where all the facilitys are it is about a mile from reception and vice a versa if in red sections on the whole a very well laid out site, but well underdeveloped for its size ie no shop of any description. limited opening for small club room for children ,also very noisy stactic site next door which we could hear very loudly music up to 12 midnight, pitches for caravans/trailer tents were very large with hardstanding for unit and grass for awning, and camping was split into secluded fields witth about 6/8 tents per field ,but lots of them, showers were the push button type and seemed to last seconds per push very irritating ,basic but clean
