July 2005 Excellent campsite. Great location. Facilities old but clean. We stayed in the blue area and it was a long way from the bar. Before you go check which colour area you are staying in to check whether you're near the facilities. Great place for kids. The only downside was that the size of pitch per tent was cramped.

July 2005 Just got back from the highly reccommended conway touring park - was a bit disapointed as the site is so large and we where placed in the purple section which is as far as you can get from the playgroung / shop / pub etc. In my opinion the site is too large - myself and my children got lost coming back from the playground one evening - luckily the next evening a helpful and friendly security guard led us all the way back! The facilities are very good - the play areas (indoor and outdoor) great for kids of all ages - didn't use the shop as i would have to carry the stuff up the hill! Other gripes I have are that the pitches are very close together - so close in fact i could hear full conversations and the man next door snoring! - this also causes problems with parking in the very small 'fields'. The shower block was accessable by a very steep path of 'shingle / slate pieces' which in itself was a bit dangerous. The actual shower blocks where very good but the cleanliness was mearly adequate. All in all I think I will stick to smaller sites where I know my children are safe ,cannot get lost and where there is more room and therefore quieter.

May 2005 We go to this campsite as often as we can. Love the fact that although it is a big site it has small sites within it, have stayed on most colours.
The toilets and showers are brill (NO CHARGRE).
The views are fantastic.
Security is good have to press a code number to gain access to the site.
Gas is available at reception,
Would recommend this site to anyone.

May 2005 Very dissapointed with this site. On arrival our pitch was not clean, it was scattered with left over BBQ's coals. We noticed that when people left pitches near us no one came to clean them before new arrivals. We were in the Blue area and the pitches where too small for the mass of large tents that and caravans that had been squeezed in. The bins where over flowing for several days before anyone came to sort them out as a result litter was blowing all over the campsite. The toilet blocks were old and in need of refurbishment and a good clean, although on a positive note the showers were warm.
The site did not appear to be policed at all and we often had to endure screaming children and adults running around our tent into the early hours. The childrens play area was also in need of refurbishment.
Good points! Well it is near to Conwy and has beautiful views.

May 2005 Just returned from very enjoyable 4 day break at this site. Before booking we read some of the reviews and to be honest we weren't sure what to expect. We have to say though a lot of the comments made seem out of date - the toilet and shower blocks were modern and very clean at all times - no signs of mouldy shower curtains or muddy floors!!
We stayed in the purple section which is about a 10 minute walk down to the pub, shop and playground. We were told this when booking and this wasn't a problem at all.
We liked how the site was split into separate coloured sections rather than just one big field and was very well laid out.
We will definitely be visiting this site again!!

September 2004 The site was well laid out, lots of signs & numbers to guide you to your pitch. The toilet / shower block was old but clean at all times, showers were nice & hot. The site was well situated (5 Mins from Conwy Castle). On the day of departure you are expected to leave the site by 12.00 as with most other sites, but what I did like was that they had an area set aside where you could leave your van so you could carry on visiting that day & later on pick your van back up and go home without additional charge! The security was good with a barrier on both entry and exit (keycode to get in & out).

August 2004 Had looked forward to this site but was disappointed. Stayed in the red area which is some distance from the play area. Too far to allow children to go there on their own. Very steep hill back up. Indoor play area for younger kids only open from 7pm. Pitches are too close to each other and very muddy field. Comparably, a very expensive site. Nice staff, basic shop but Conwy area itself is brilliant.

August 2003 This site had been recommended by a friend. We stayed in the blue area which was very nice, but the toilet and shower block was very old and in need of a refurb, it was like being in a tin hut. Further down the site on the Green Area the toilet and shower factilities were modern. The play areas were excellent. The bar was very busy and as you could only take children in one half of it we ended up sitting outside. Lots of children. The blue area is at the top of the hill so it is okay walking down to the bar but the walk back was exhausting. There is a cinema and Pizza Hut Complex nearby and great fish and chip shops in the town. We would probably go back again for a weekend and stay in the green zone.

august 2 - 8 2003 A large well set out site, each sub-camp housing approx 10-15 pitches. The camp was clean, with convienient rubbish skips. Plenty toilets/showers, which on the whole were clean and well stocked with paper!!
The shop was basic, seling fresh milk etc..but mainly dealt with sweets and drinks for the kids. We used the takeaway just the once, finding it a bit expensive for our taste, but ok if you were very hungry.
The play areas - FANTASTIC!!!! My children loved them, it has an adventure park for the older ones, a playground near the Clubhouse and an indoor rough and tumble area - brill!!! I will be going back to this site, and would highly reccomend it to anyone.

March to September2003 We have been visiting Conwy Touring Park for the last 15 years towing our van down the A55 at every opportunity. Conwy touring Park for me is my piece of heaven away from hustle and bustle . lovely set out tranquil pitches. A pub at the bottom of the hill lots to excite children .My Grandchildren call exploring the site an adventure. We are older now and towing a bit of a heavy job so we store at Conwy now the best thing we ever did . At the drop of a hat you can usually be accomadated with a pitch or block book if like me you work , for just a couple more years. Great discounts on site fees , camp fires barbeques no problem if your responsible. Dogs welcome on selected pitches. An overall lovely site with clean well set out facilities and friendly helpful staff. The pity its not all year round opening on certain colours.
