This was our first venture into camping, couldn't have picked a better site. Although big, it was clean tidy and we had a great time. It was quiet at night and so relaxing 2 nights felt like we had been away for a week. The worst thing was we then had to go home felt like we could have stayed there forever, a great getaway from it all place but not too far away from the town We didn't get into the club as from where we were it was a very long walk so opted for a few beers in the tent and enjoyed it probably even more

Weather wet at night, so-so by day.
This is a lovely site, with excellent amenities. Each area of the multi-level site has its' own shower / toilet block. Play areas for the kids. Excellent pub with adjacent playroom so adults can chill whilst kids tire themselves out!(does that ever happen?)
Downer, no food! The pub is kitted with a large kitchen, yet whenever I have been there, it has never been in operation! Come one, guys, chips at least!
Price to stay is just above reasonable, bar prices acceptable. Kids drinks very cheap! Definitely a great base for a family holiday in North Wales. I will be here again, whenever possible.

Had a very large plot, the biggest we've ever had very nice clean site, clean powerful, hot showers, unfortunately the site has no shop. The pub is very stuck in the 70's , no I don't mean glitzy and lively, I mean dull and boring a bit like sitting in your Aunts living room. If you are near the entrance you have around a mile to walk to the pub up and down hill. Our main problem with the site is that they don't allow taxi drivers on site past the barrier, you could be a mile away from the barrier so if you want to go into town for a drink you have a massive walk even to get in and out of a taxi

This site is quite different from any others we've been to. Firstly its huge but separated into lots of sections and cul-de-sacs, some of the views are outstanding. We were initally put off by the massive secutity fence and 'bank' like security glass in reception - what is all that about??
Anyway the site was well kept although the toilet blocks etc do get heavy use in peak season - usual problem of only one hook in the shower - can they really not put a few up or a shelf??
The bar area is fine and good for kids, and it is possible to walk into the centre of Conwy - though ask for the cross field route rather than down the road.
One niggle was that, try as I might, I could not find anywhere to empty my grey waste? I gave up and had to dump it in a bush - sorry!
I would go again - out of peak season. What I would really recomend the site for is family groups you can literally book a whole cul de sac circle to yourselves which would be ideal.
Storage looks a reasonable option too. Finally cant undertsand why a site this big has no shop?

We booked at Conwy Touring Park after being let down by a site 5pm the night before we were due to stay. The staff were very helpful and were able to help us in our hour of need!
This was our first camping holiday with the children (aged 5 & 9) so we needed a good site. We found Conwy Touring park to be excellent! We stayed on the blue section, we found everywhere to be clean and tidy. There were skips full of rubbish, as mentioned in other reviews, but this was only the first day we were there, bank holiday Monday. The toilets were cleaned at least twice a day, always had plenty of tissue, but never any hand soap! I have hand gel, so this was not an issue for us. The showers were always hot, but ours had timer buttons which only allowed 12seconds of water at a time! Not sure if the other shower blocks were the same.
The pub and play area were about a 10min walk way the road route, or about a 2min walk through a short cut, we only found the short cut after a few days! Quite a steep walk back to the tent, so not for the infirm! We found the pub to be quite pleasant, clean and not overly busy for such a big site.
The only thing we found this site to be missing was a shop, the local shop and chip shop (chip shop was excellent!) are about a 2min drive away.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and will no doubt stay at the site again at some point.

This was our first ever camping trip, (we normally go abroad) so were a bit apprehensive, but we chose a great place to break our camping virginity, we were in red section and quite close to the toilet block which was very well maintained. The bar was hard to find and quite a distance from where we were. No onsite shop and a local londis was quite away, but take nothing away from the site it was clean and tidy the walks were very nice, I would recommend this site to anyone and we are going again at the end of the month

Second visit to the site the first being quite traumatic. Although the weather was not in our favour the pitch purple 13 was fantastic. The scenery and walks great. Our only concern was the bar and indoor childrens play area was closed during the day in peak season and therefore there was little to do on the site if it rains heavily. When open the bar and Melins was a godsend for our three year old daughter who absolutely loved being able to play without mummy or daddy worrying. The toilet and shower blocks were spotless with hot water available throughout the day. One little niggle was that all the washing machines were awaiting repair and we were unable to do some much needed laundry.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at Conwy Touring Park. The site was huge with great views. The reception was friendly and informative. Drinks at the bar were very reasonable and there was a childrens entertainer in the evening which was brilliant as it rained most of the time. Our pitch was a little small, good job we took our smaller tent with us. All the pitches were sectioned off into smaller groups, we were in a Green section, quite a drive from the Reception. The only downfall was that we had a large family opposite us who were noisy. They came back to the tent in the early hours arguing and swearing for sometime before settling down. This obviously isnt the fault of the campsite, you cant choose who you get put near. The site is in the heart of Conwy. There is plenty to do and only 10 minutes from Llandudno which is also great for families. We will definitely return to this site for a short break in the future.

Only stayed on site for 3 nights. Stay was ok. Our pitch was a bit tight for a trailer tent (confirmed at booking) & we were very close to the road. Quite concerning as we have 2 small children. Showers not so good. Quite small & only 1 hook. Always clean though. Kids indoor play area great. Couldn't get the kids out. Pity about a 10min walk from red area. (mainly uphill on way back!) Not sure we would visit again. Just not suitable for our family

This was our third visit to this site and as mentioned before, it won't be our last.
We stayed on pitch red 80 and despite our initial apprehension after reading a negative review about the size, we found it to be more than ample for our tent and car.
A very friendly and efficient site. We saw cleaners at least twice a day cleaning the shower blocks and washing up area. The showers were piping hot and at no time did we have to queue. Previous reviews have mentioned that the toilets were dirty, but in our experience this is due to the people who use them, not the cleaners.
We did have one slight problem with joyriders on the site which did give some cause for concern. But we have no complaint, just praise and thanks to the response from security once we reported the problem. They regularly patrolled the site and gave peace of mind and we're glad to say the problem never occurred again.
Beautiful surroundings, friendly wildlife and great value for money. We can't wait to visit again.
