We are from Germany and stayed at this site for three days during our holiday, which we visited the north and west of Wales. First of all, the site is very cheap. We had an electric hook up with 5 amp, which is enough to use a hair dryer and loading mobile phones and laptop. I am not a friend of big sites and the barrier at the entranced made me almost to turn back. The site is really very big, the pitch will be selected from the staff (it depends mainly on the EHU-fuse (5 amp, 10 and another bigger). The different pitches are marked with a colour code, though it's very easy to find the right pitch. But from the entrance, it's sometimes a long way (we were in the blue area). It goes on up a hill with serpentines and after that down on the other side the same. At the end of all is a big children's playing area and a pub (with free WiFi), which we only visited once because we don't wanted to drive by car and the way by foot was too long. The kids liked the site, because they can explore all the paths between the areas. The areas are separated with hedges and you haven't got the feeling off a big site. If you put up your tent it's more familiar as it seems first. There are many facility blocks in reach. The best thing is a drying room, where you can leave your wet towels. On some of the facility blocks you can leave food or ice packs in a freezer. The facility blocks are not very clean. At the men's blocks is no pissoir, so you can imagine how the toilets looked like.

But as I said, it's very cheap and the nearby town of Conwy let us ignore the above mentioned. Conwy is very beautiful town. The castle is amazing, the city wall is impressing. We liked most staying in the evening at the harbour, eating fish and chips, drinking beer in front of the pub and let our children catch crabs.

We had a great time at this site even though its huge. Its set in small areas so you don't feel like your on a massive site. The staff were helpful on arrival and then your left to yourself no little hitlers telling you which way to put your camper or tent it was so refreshing. The toilet block was clean and well lite, the showers near us were porta showers but were more than adequate for the needs. All in all great camp site. I would definitely go back again.

Superb location for site, all of Snowdonia within easy driving distance. Went with family with several tent units. Pitch sizes were good and well marked and no problem pegging out. However, toilet facilities were very basic - no soap dispenser or hand-dryer in ours (white section). Showers were poor with no facility to clean up after others leaving mud on the cubicle floors. Visited other toilet blocks round site and ones we saw all seemed to be lacking in something to varying degrees. Would suggest modernisation urgently required for facilities. The great location wouldn't be enough to make us use this site again.

We have stayed roughly 3, 4 or 5 times a year for the past 4 years for weekend stays and extended weekends over the bank holidays and can recommend Conwy Touring Park.

We initially staying in a tent at the very first but for the last 3 years in our twin axle caravan.

Staff are very friendly at check in and they have always pointed us in the right direction to our pitch by using a colour coded map (A4 size).

All the fresh water and waste disposal are a short walk away.

The pitches are situated in cul-de-sacs of varying sizes, and with varying electric hook up amperage. (Worth checking when you book).

The pitches are well spaced out with easily accessible electric hook up points, and pitches are relatively flat with only a bit of levelling required.

I can't comment on TV reception as we don't use a TV whilst away, but mobile phone reception on Vodaphone is pretty good.

Walks around the park offer some spectacular views over the Conwy valley and river Conwy, which are well worth exploring.

The town of Conwy is not to far away - 10 minutes ish, and there are some good walks around the town and harbour. Conwy also has some CAMRA pubs if you are a real ale drinker.

Toilet facilities are really clean, and although we don't have any young children, kids around the place do seen to have a lot of fun. Its really child friendly and they can explore through the bushes and trees etc.

Although there is no shop on site, there is a Tesco in Llandudno Junction is about 10 minutes away so easily do able. (You can get fuel here as well).

We have visited conwy touring park that much over the last ten years that we now leave our touring caravan in storage at the park as we like the park so much. We can however if we choose collect caravan from the park and visit further afield.

We find the park to be in a perfect location a large super market, pubs and fast food outlets, cinema, bowling, beach all within easy reach.

On site I have always found the staff to be more than approachable helpful and polite, the showers and toilets are always kept clean as are the dish washing facilities these are usually cleaned a few times a day, there are also numerous bins to dispose of your rubbish located around the site.

There is a pub (reasonably prized and stocked) and indoor play area on site for the children to play, the site is also dog friendly with extensive dog walking trails to exercise dogs.

All in all its great and well run site the only downside is it shut for winter.

We stayed here for four nights. The campsite itself is very hilly. We were pitched up in green area. I must say this campsite is very basic. The shower and toilet area is basic and could do with updating. It took us forever to fill our water hog as the taps could also do with a bit of maintenance work. As for the club/bar I have never stayed at a campsite with so many different rules for different ages of children.

Being a single mum with two boys. This rules re bar playarea etc seems odd. My eldest child who is 13 was able to enter the pool and arcade area but my youngest who is 5 was not allowed to enter even with myself. So playing a game of pool with my oldest was a no no so he was a bit disappointed.

Very basic site would we return no.

Really good site for our first ever touring pitch. HUGE site. Great clubhouse/kids entertainer. Clean loos etc although wouldn't have minded soap at the basins for when I'd popped in on passing without washbag etc. Nice dogwalks around the site with lovely views of rolling hillsides. Pitches aren't particularly well off for views though but a very good site all in all. Good base for Llandudno area. When asked where I could get baby wipes I was directed by reception staff to Llandudno junction Tesco (5 min drive), when in fact I found a village shop on my way there. (1 min drive!) Very tight archway in the Castle to be undertaken to access the site from A55, but no other narrow lanes.

This was our 15th visit to Conwy Touring Park and as usual we had a fabulous time. The park is ideally situated in Conwy for those who wish to explore the area or just chill out on the park. Each time we have been the staff have been friendly and helpful, keen to accommodate us and our friends (as necessary) to be near each other. The events enjoyed over the last 4 years have included park organised ones such as the military manoeuvres, firework weekend and more recently the beer festival with live bands. The children love it and can't wait to go again for this years fireworks. There are plenty of places for them to hide as, although the park is large, it is sectioned off by trees and bushes for them to explore. Indoor and outdoor play areas are available for them and Mr Bimbamboozle is the regular entertainer and the children enjoy his act each and every time.

We booked this site for the last 2 nights of our holiday and I'm sorry to say that we were disappointed with it. We were in the lower red section, the toilets very basic (in a converted container)no hand dryers or mirrors and the water pressure so strong that you got soaked when the taps were turned on, no signs to say where the shower block ! was, I found another toilet block but 2 out of the 3 toilets were blocked and would not flush. All the other amenities, bar, entertainment, etc, where at the top of the camp via a very steep very long road so we couldn't have a drink together. If you are going as a large group and just want to chill by your tent, van, etc making your own fun it is ideal. Conwy and the surrounding area is brilliant with plenty to do and see.

Just returned from a four night stay with an eight and six year old in tow. The site is incredible.

When we arrived I asked if we were by the park and were duly upgraded to the 16 amp sites which are closest to the park and pub etc. I was glad I asked as it would've been a completely different holiday if wed've been further away.

The on site pub and play area were great for the kids (and adults) in the evenings. There was a magician on our first night and we were sad to have missed the salsa band the night before.

The park was kept well and toilet and shower blocks were immaculate. It was a friendly site and I was happy to let my kids Pootle round on their bikes. The size of the park made bikes or scooters a fun necessity.

We will definitely be returning and I may even see if I can get on one of the fields right over the (massive) hill at the bottom of the site which are the closest to the park.
