Lovely site, perfect location for visiting llandudno and conwy. Really clean toilets; but only 3 tents in our area as schools had gone back, so I cant vouch for the rest of the year! Lots of rabbits and squirrels, and my boys loved the playground and walks from the site with amazing views. If anything it needs a shop, or even if you could buy milk from reception it would be better, but we will definitely be back next year

I needed to break my journey in order to await delivery of a part for my mobility scooter so booked into this site third week of Sept.

On arrival I was informed it was against the sites policy to accept parcels so I had to rearrange for it to be sent to my next stop.

When the electric in the shower/toilet block tripped out non of the pitches on my side of the area had electric. Phoning through to the only access number on the information sheet I reached and answer phone saying messages could not be left, and had not the neighbouring caravan owner been there and able to get to the office to find the mobile number pasted to the reception window I would have been without electric for the night. So I give customer service 2/10

The site location for people wanting to visit the area is good, but

I had great difficulty accessing the site as my vehicle is too wide to fit through the bridge at Conwy, which was the route suggested on their website. The alternative approach was also very narrow with an extremely tight hairpin bend, and the final approach at the site entrance caused the back of my vehicle to contact the road. So I give location 5/10

I thought value for money was poor at over £40 for two nights for one person and a dog so late in the season. The site is in a wooded valley and I had no views to speak of other than a bank of gorse or the rows of statics now being installed, which together with the emptying of the huge metal waste bins, I assume accounted for the heavy machinery starting before 8. 30 am and continued more or less throughout the day other than breaks at 11am and 1pm I give 2/10

As my mobility scooter was not working I can only comment on the toilet/shower block closest to me, all other facilities being beyond my reach, quite literally including the huge metal waste bins with high heavy lids. The block though dated was clean, though appeared to be unheated - I am not sure as I used my own shower, so for me the facilities at best were 5/10

I would imagine children who like to explore the countryside and woodland would have a terrific time here, though I am uncertain if there were other things for them, so I give 8/10

This is not a place I would ever personally revisit, though reading the reviews it seems others have enjoyed it here.

What can I say except absolutely awful place if you have high standards! We visited 20+ yrs ago and I think the facilities are as they were then.

Not busy in sept, plenty of space but must be dreadful when it is full. Not in any of the toilet blocks was there a place for soap or liquid soap.

If you have hygiene standards and enjoy

Caravan club sites don't touch this place with a barge pole.

We left early even though we had paid for longer.

Shame as in a good location but needs some better owners with a care about hygiene and better facilities. Reception staff very friendly.

Although the scenery is lovely and lovely to see the wild life. This site is let down by smelly bins and the toilet facilities are far from clean. Unkempt site for what they charge would not return. Booking in process efficient and reception staff very polite. A bit too far to walk to shops and into the town. Very few staff around to ask unless you walk the long distance back to reception during office hours when placed in the last pitch on your own farthest away from anyone else.

We have stayed at this site a couple of times before and were well impressed. Although a large site, the set-up is well designed to put you in small sections, with trees & hedges around to make the site feel small. The section we were in this time was big enough for only about 10 pitches, which is really nice. I must say we were quite disappointed this time. There seemed to be quite a bit of litter generally scattered around the site, but the big let-down for us this time was the toilet-block for our area. The toilets were blocked in both the male and female loos. Although we reported this to the camp office, they were still blocked the following night. (Perhaps the lack of sani bins in the ladies loo might have caused the problem). The sinks in the loos were missing plugs and there were no hand drying machines. We only stopped 2 mid-week nights, but felt that there seemed a lack of general maintenance compared to previous visits. The site might also benefit from a good on-site shop. We probably will be back because hopefully, this occasion was a one-off. The town of Conway is within comfortable walking distance and the site is well placed for visiting many attractions & areas of North Wales.

Brilliant week at Conwy, the site was just what we were looking for. It was in a great location (about a mile or so out of Conwy) but still with lovely countryside views. The site is well maintained, we had no problems and the showers and toilets were always clean. Lovely site for children with lots to do, and we have a fantastic experience here!

 Perfect Hideaway

Lovely tidy campsite. Shower and toilet facilities are clean, even in the wet weather they were kept clean. The grounds are amazing. Our whole family love it here, the kids especially love the zip line. Two play areas for the children. A camp club with reasonably priced drinks. Good sized pitches. Great site for camping and caravans. It is clean, tidy, safe for children, and dog friendly.

Definitely will go back again. Proper campers’ campsite in a fantastic area to take kids; castles, beaches, and outdoor activities galore.

Just returned from a 10 day stay at this site. Apart from the tolets they site was well run. Toilets had no soap in every toilet block I visited. The site was great location for other parts of wales. I felt that the site could of had more parks, as 2 wasn't enough. But overall would visit again.

I feel very sad to be so negative about this site having read the other reviews. We found the site was in need of some upgrade / money investing in it. Our toilets were cold (the poor weather didn't help)and usually messy - they lacked urinals - which meant the children had to use the toilet - and you can imagine how 'wet' the seat and area became. The wash basins had no hooks to hang anything whilst getting washed, I did expect hand soap to be provided and the hand drier blew cold. Our area blue was busy - it was bank holiday so we expected that but some behaviour of the other campers left a lot to be desired. Open fires and noisy parties, children running around in the dark at 11 O clock and night screaming and shouting (their obvious fun was disturbing our friends young children trying to sleep). Our pitch was big enough however I had to trample down the nettles to avoid getting stung inserting the pegs.

The site had a good play area and was mostly tidy - any mess was other campers being lazy. We found better toilets on white and used them for the last couple of days - they had cubicles to get washed, hooks and they were heated. The showers were warm - one door had a few punch or kick holes in them which was a shame.

The local area was brilliant - close to Conwy and Llandudno - we tried Anglesey but the rain won.

I'm not sure I would return again to that site - def never again in a bank holiday.

Just returned after staying here for 4 nights over Bank Holiday weekend.

What a beautiful area to visit, we used the site as a base for visiting lots of lovely places and there are so many highlights I don't know what was my favourite, the tram car ride up The Great Orme in Llandudno, visiting Beaumaris on Anglesey, Caernarfon, breathtaking Betws-y-Coed or just sitting in the sun on Conwy quayside with a drink from the pub.

Check in to the site was quick and easy and we were given directions to our pitch and a barrier code. Was a little disappointed with the pitch size, maybe this was also down to how much room was taken up on either side, we had brought a canopy to use for our kitchen area but ended up cooking in the tent as the canopy would have been too close to either tent no matter which side of our tent we put it.

Reception staff were friendly and helpful also the security guys who walked the site on a night. Toilets and showers were cleaned regularly but would have been nice if there were some individual cubicles, there were 2 clothes hanger pegs in the showers but nowhere to keep clothes dry and nowhere to place toiletries. Also the dreaded push button for short bursts of water type shower. I witnessed an older child washing her wellies in the sinks while one lady was getting washed and brushing her teeth in the next sink, there was mud left all over the unit and dirty toilet paper that she left in the sink for the cleaner to move, not nice. In the block closest to our pitch there were 3 toilets and 2 showers in the ladies with 4 sinks which didn't seem to be quite enough given that most pitches were full.

The site itself is beautifully landscaped and laid out into little cul-de-sacs giving a small site feel to it, although after a busy day site seeing we were too tired to venture up to the pub. Also given that our area was busy we had no bother with noisy neighbours and can't comment on the child friendliness of the site as we had teenagers with us.

A lovely site in a stunning area, would like to visit again!
