Nice campsite, about a 10 minute walk out of town, with good views,
Stayed in field for people without a car was very quiet.
Toilets always clean and fair price.

Friendly beautiful farm sight. Well maintained with lovely views of the rolling hillside.
We were greated by Mark who was a very friendly approachable farmer and gave us a tour of the facilities and gave us a choice of places to park our van.
The toilet block had all the facilities you need for a stay in the countryside. The showers were hot and the facilities are cleaned regularly.
Please bear in mind this is a working farm there are sheep in the top field which Mark moves into another field at dusk but we loved to hear the sound of the lambs so we loved every minute.
Local to edale itself not far from penine way. Jacobs ladder. Kinder scout. Kinder low. Kinder downfall. Back tor. Hollinscross and mam tor.
Would highly recommend this beautiful site for friendliness, location, value for money and beautiful scenary, will definitely be back,
Thank you for a lovely camping experience

This is my first time staying at Waterside Farm and I will definitely be staying again.
We arrived by foot so we were pitched on a field away from the campers arriving by car.
The toilet, shower, and washing up facilities were great. I saw the site owners cleaning the facilities at least twice per day, and the water was always running hot.
The train line running across the back of the site wasn't noisy enough to wake us up, and the 4am dawn chorus was beautiful, if not deafening!
I 100% will be staying again, especially with it being so close to the train station.

Nice little campsite slightly away from the busier sites in Edale itself but easily walkable if you want to go to the pub or cafe in Edale!
Being removed means you don't have to negotiate the traffic and hikers in the village by car.
Facilities nice and clean, women's had one shower and 3 toilets, hot water seemed fine. Washing up area and drinking water also provided.
I especially appreciated the clearly posted rules about noise after 11pm, this helped ensure a quiet night.
I didn't have kids or dogs but a few did and they seemed to have a great time.
I'd definitely stay here again if camping in Edale.

The campsite is excellent, just what we were looking for. Simple, quiet and in a brilliant location.
The owners were very friendly too. We loved it and have already booked to go back!
The only downside was that the 2 pubs close by ran out of food by the time we got there around 7.30pm. We had to eat at the cafe on the other campsite which was fine.

Great little site with views of the Tor - quiet clean & friendly just what you want.
No phone signal so even better!
Not at all far to the Village hall carpark to give you access to all the main walks if youre feeling lazy

Stayed here a few times clean basic facilities Shower, toilet, washing up sink area and drinking water tap. No drying room or shop.
2 well kept camping fields with great views of Mam Tor and Kinder Scout.
20 minutes walk into Edale village.
Nice and friendly owners who welcome you in.
Great place to start many walks from but walks are mostly up hill and you will need strong legs.

Visited this site for my first time this year. As with my previous visits it was thoroughly enjoyable. The toilets and showers are clean with plentiful hot water. The owners are always welcoming and it's a pleasure to stop here.
I am already checking my work commitments to arrange my next stay.
For those who haven't camped here it's ideally located for a whole range of walks of varying degrees of ability.
The first of the Edale pubs is only 10 mins walk as is the railway station. The views from the site are inspiring. However the railway line is close and whilst this has never bothered me, trains can be heard. No doubt someone will see this in a wholly negative way. But I have never regarded it as detrimental to a well kept and well maintained Campsite.
