Great little site, situated on a quiet road with walking access direct to Mam Tor and Kinder Scout along with many outer routes.
Rail line runs through Hope valley and close to the site with fairly routine activity but this is the same for all of the other campsites in the area and didn’t bother us at all.
Most pitches are fairly level but some places would benefit from chocks. Showers are one for each gender and warm, we never had to queue for them and the site was fairly busy during our stay.
Would I stay here again - most definitely.

Perfect location in Edale, walking distance to Kinder Scout and Mam Tor as well as two local pubs.
Shower and toilet facilities were clean and regularly checked.
We had a great 3 night stay and would definitely return. Thank you!

Great location, close to Edale train station and walking routes.
Quiet site with basic amenities just what I needed for a few days camping with my son.

Could not have wished for a better campsite.
Jen's warm hospitality and Mark's industriousness make the most of a site in the heart of Edale, surrounded by the best walking the High Peaks offers.
Site facilities catered to our requirements and were well maintained.

Lovely site- very clean, with particular attention to the Covid situation.
Within easy walking distance of the local village with a couple of pubs and a selection of shops.
Well organised and pleasant staff on arrival.

Great basic site. Clean facilities. The walk into edlae is on road so care after dark.
The train line is a bit close when a goods train rumbles through but otherwise a great place to stay for a short visit.
Probably not much for kids to do and no wifi may be a consideation for some

I spent 3 nights with my 3 year old and it was great, the farm kept her interested and the large field was great for running around.
Great location for kinder scout and mum tor hikes, walking distance to shop and pub in edale village.
Close to the road means easy to find but not that remote, so a bit of traffic passing by during weekend.
