Brilliant site a little way outside the main village of Edale. Great alternative to the more upmarket 'Glamping' site in the village.
Grass kept nice and short, very clean and tidy facilities, friendly host.
Nice to stay on a site that keeps to the supposed quiet times as well, for the price it was a bargain and we'll use again.
Only small points. There was only one shower in each of the Ladies and Gents which was a bit awkward, you have to pick your times carefully!
The road outside the site isn't the easiest to walk, it's a bit narrow so can be awkward when busy.

Simple campsite with everything you need for a weekend in the Peak.
Pleasant and friendly campsite owner.
Shame about the typical Derbyshire weather!

Had a great stay at this campsite, lovely location close to the station but also to nearby hiking routes right into the Peak District nature.
The nearby village of Edale has two lovely pubs and a tiny store, but do keep in mind that you won't be able to buy anything you'd like over there.
The views were awesome, and it was fun looking at the sheep that were in the farm.
Facilities were good, but nothing fancy. Can be a bit noisy at night due to the road and the sheep, but nothing that would stop me from going back there!

We had a wonderful stay at Waterside Farm. The site is basic but clean and well maintained. It was the first time we had stayed without electric hook up but realised we didn’t miss it and managed fine.
We had a bbq every evening using coals. We had space to play frisbee, football and rounders for the first 2 days until the site filled up for the bank holiday.
It was a short walk to The Ramblers Inn pub, train / coffee shop and just a little further to the shop and The Old Nags Head. This is where we started our walk up Kinder Scout which was stunning.
It was a short drive to visit Blue Johns caves and we also walked to the top of Mam Tor. The owners were very helpful and friendly.
We would recommend this site and will be returning in the future as there was plenty more to explore.

Beautiful campsite in a great location,
Lots of hiking trails nearby,
Great views of the surrounding hills.
However, facilities (in particular lavatories) could be cleaner.

Pleasant stay in a great location. Could walk to the train station and amenities within 10 minutes.
Caught the train to Glossop and did a fabulous walk back to Edale, followed by a lovely meal and pint in The Nags Head, followed by another lovely pint in The Ramblers Inn.
Campsite was great.
Enjoyed watching the sheep and lambs right behind our van. Showers and toilets were clean and a decent washing up area. Will be back.

Great location. Friendly owners. Lovely pitch next to sheep.
There is a trainline running past but didn't bother us.
Perfect basic campsite but with all the necessary amenities.
We stayed here about 10 years ago and we will definitely be back again.
