Really lovely campsite. Only £10 per person per night.

The cleanest toilets l have ever seen in a campsite and the showers are free.

Very close to mam tour and a 10 min walk from the train station.

Very flat and several meadows. You can choose your own spot no numbers and squars where you have to camp.

Very laid back and relaxing campsite. Lovely friendly Lady running it.

I would not recommend going in the nags head pub, very unfriendly and cold reception didn't even stay for a drink. The Ramblers pub/hotel/restaurant was much nicer.

Lovely site, ten minutes walk from the railway station and pub/cafe. 15 mins from the start of the Pennine Way and another pub, another cafe and a shop.

Handy for Kinder or Mam Tor and the associated hills.

I found the owners were very helpful and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. A big plus was the toilet block that was kept clean and had nice hot showers.

The railway line is close and this may bother some people but I was ok with it.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this site and will certainly visit again. I thought the cost of my stay was realistic and represented good value for money.

 Lovely site and facilities.

Will definitely stay again.

Nice and quiet, good value for money.

Good travel links with train station just down the road.

A lovely quite and scenic camp site.

Basic but with a very clean toilet block, and shower in each male and female block.

We love the sheep and goats but this is a working farm so careful to keep the dog well secured.

I've visited this site many times and will visit many times more.

It's a short walk to the train station and edale village, as well as the start to many of the peak walks.

The ground/grass is well maintained and is perfect for pitching the tent. And the views are absolutely stunning from sun rise to sun set.

Really nice campsite. I like that it is still a working farm I just wished people would be respectful of this.

I have no complaints with the farm itself as they cannot keep an eye on all campers at all times so I feel campers need to be more respectful.

I was camped next to a group of people who were running their car engine for music for hours and swearing which, when your in the middle of the countryside is like what? why?

And another guy who turned up in a campervan who let his dogs off to run around the whole field continuously even into the dark and we we're not comfortable with this as there were young kids next to us also and the farm dogs themselves present.

I didn't complain as I felt bad and it would have been obvious but this comes down to the campers themselves. Be respectful, be polite!

Maybe in busy periods someone could do a quick walk around to check everything is ok at dusk and evening?

When we stayed on a Sunday eve it was bliss, empty and peaceful.

Very nice place.

Toilets are dated but they are fine for the job, one female shower which could cause queues in busy periods but we didn't have a problem and also lovely hot water.

The camp site was conveniently located

When we visited there wasn’t many people there so it was a great atmosphere and the owner was so helpful and polite

Will be returning in a couple of months

 Lovely campsite!

The grass was well kept and the tent pegs slid in with no effort! Nice flat pitches too.

The farmhouse sold eggs which we bough and were super tasty!

Facilities were clean and we were bale to park up next to our tents.

Would definitely stay again!

Warm welcome by a lady who showed us where to pitch up.

Views from the pitch were second to none and lovely to watch the sheep in the next field.

Toilets could do with a little modernisation and there was only one shower which I definitely didn’t want to wash my hair under as I was not certain of getting the shampoo out.

No real issues here though and worth the £10 per night. Would definitely stay again!

The campsite is maintained to a high standard and well presented, its clean and tidy.

The campsite was very busy at the weekend and all people were respectful.

It took me several days to truly appreciate that the location of the campsite is very good.

I was pitched in the second field and by using the gate in the corner next to the road,

It provides excellent access to Edale railway station and Edale village via the overflow carpark (adjacent field), it takes approximately 10/15 minutes walk respectively.

I would definitely return.

Thank you Waterside for an enjoyable stay.

Easy to locate with access to some great walks.

Staff were friendly and helpful,

The facilities were clean and well maintained.

If I had to complain about anything it would be the camping being a bit close to the roads/trains, but that is a minor quibble and the views still nice.
