I’ve stopped here before a few times, just myself and my daughter. I'm a single dad so a rare one.
Very friendly site and welcoming.
Definitely will return,
Great base for hiking.
Pubs within walking distance that serve food.

Nice little campsite nestled in the Vale of Edale, 5 mins walk to a nice pub. Perfect for solo travelers like me, or families.
Personal service at the gate on arrival and a site with all the amenities you need for a nice stay.
Peaceful. Nice views up towards Kinder Scout.
I’ll stay here again.

A dry weekend in the High Peaks - fantastic, particularly helped by the excellent campsite we stayed at - Waterside Farm.
Although basic everything was clean and well supplied.
The pitches all had short mown grass, nice and flat.
The situation betwrren Barber Booty and Edale vilage is just great for the many local trails, and also handy for the train station.
Although close to the road and trainlines this did not cause any issues for us.
Looking forward to the next visit.

I only stayed one night, but it was a lovely little campsite, a great location.
A nice little field for the tent, flat and with a nice view of the hills.
The lady owner was very friendly and helpful.
This will be my next campsite in the Edale area.

Lovely location in the heart of Edale with a short walk to pubs cafes and the start of the Pennine away
Great spot for some walking or running.
Clean facilities, showers on site although at peak times more showers would be beneficial. The train passes regularly it's relatively quiet
Reasonable price for the Peak District too
Happy to return

This was my Fourth time taking up camp at Waterside and it (as always) was perfect.
The welcome is friendly and the location is absolutely spectacular.
Waking to an unimpeded scenic view of the 2 largest peaks in Edale. The camp owners are active and approachable for any concerns.
The facilities are more than what one needs to get camping happily and rules signage is posted keeping everyone camping very respectful which every patron that has been a neighbour whilst I've camped has been.
It's a wonderful spot, well priced beautiful.
Thanks again Waterside, I'll be hoping to stay again very soon.
