Good quiet campsite very close to Edale where there are 2 good pubs with beer gardens doing food and a general store.
Beautiful setting, facilities basic with only one shower in each toilet block but not a problem for 2 nights.
Very close to Mam Tor and walk to castleton and other surrounding beauty spots.

Second time visiting this site.
Fantastic location. Always a warm welcome from Jen. Always friendly and welcoming. Had many chats with her, she is lovely and funny.
The site has everything ya need. Toilets and a shower. Sink for washing up pots and pans.
Drinking water tap. The site is clean and tidy.
All ya need from a camp site. Fantastic value for money. Will be returning.

Absolutely lovely time here. Was a small quiet site with well maintained facilities.
Owner was a lovely lady who made us feel welcome. Whilst there is only one shower in each male/female toilet block. So sometimes a Que the site was quiet, so this was enough and I never had to wait long at all.
The facilities were checked regularly by owner so clean.
We were worried that the list of rules sent out seemed like they might be very strict but they were very hospitable and this was only reasonable expectations of any campsite really and to be respectful of other campers such as being quiet by 11pm.
We were able to sit out and talk very quietly for longer. But it got quite cold so we didn’t really stay out much more.
We went as a mixed group of adults and have all said we would absolutely come back. 10mins walk to station and local lovely pubs too.

This is a lovely site in a great location.
Toilets checked regularly and kept clean. Helpful, friendly owner. One shower on ladies and one in gents, water warm bit not hot. Same with washing up.
Nice flat pitches, two main fields and a smaller one.
Walking distance to Edale with two pubs, cafe serving breakfast and visitor Centre. Worth a visit to the visitor Centre for advice and maps on the best walks.
Excellent base for stunning walks, highly recommend this location.
Only negative was the train line on with trains running late into the night and from the early hours, ear plugs solved this issue for me but near this in mind of a light sleeper.

The campsite has great facilities and friendly, professional staff.
There is a food place and plenty of showers and toilets.
One downside for me was the noise from a neighbouring private property. People were partying wildly until very late at night.
As a result, what was meant to be a peaceful camping weekend, turned into tiring day after a sleeples night.
