Great location for Edale Village, around 1 mile walk on the country road or a little longer over the train track and through the fields.
Track is close but never bothered us, this is not a high speed mainline.
Ideal for the Kinder Scout walks including Jacobs Ladder and the Pennine Way.
Toilets, shower, clean water and Elsan
For what we paid it’s a bargain 👍

Nice quiet location with stunning views for miles around.
Toilet facilities are cleaned & stocked up everyday.
Showers were hot and just what was needed after a long hike into Bakewell.
Staff are happy to help with any enquiries over emails.
Would recommend.

Just what we needed for 1 nights camping with a small tent & 2 bikes.
Lovely welcome with clean and functional showers and toilets.
Also happy to take 1 night bookings which helped.

Friendly Staff, great location and access to pubs and village shop close by.
Nice pitches with great views and a very nice cafe in the campsite which enabled me to not starve since I forgot my stove.

Noisy! It's located between the only road into Edale and a train line, with a field of sheep in-between!
Only 1 shower and 2 toilets in the gents
Cheap though and it's a 5 min walk into Edale for the start of the Penine way

This is a friendly, well situated campsite about 15 minutes walk from the village of Edale (pubs and train station).
Two medium sized fields by a working farm, with ablutions (sinks, toilets, shower, including a shaver socket) and washing up sinks (2) in a central block.
This was clean and tidy.

Great campsite, well located with beautiful views, toilets, showers and washing up area.
The site is a short walk from Edale. It is quiet, but it is on a main road and also with a railway behind (Neither really bothered us though).
There was a separate field for campers without cars which was great.
We brought our dog and found the site to be welcoming and dog friendly.
The site owner was really friendly and helped us out when we had forgotten to bring a lighter on our first night.
We could hear an owl hooting somewhere near the site and one night there were two hooting back and forth which was really lovely.

Great site, small & friendly.
Toilet & shower block kept clean & obviously checked on a regular basis.
In terms of location easy walk into edale and close to all the walks you are likely to need.

Went for 3 nights as a group of 3 friends: 2 of us in single-person tents plus 1 in one of their caravans. This was a great combination as it gave us somewhere to sit out of the rain as needed.
A fairly no-frills campsite; however, with very friendly folk, clean toilets and washing up area (with plentiful hot water on tap), and comfortable grass!
A railway line runs next to the site which was great for the young child in me; the train's were pretty quiet as they passed.
It was great waking up to the view of the hills.
The one downside, if going for walks straight from the site, is that you have to walk on the road for a wee bit before getting to any paths. Having said that, the road is not very busy, so you should be ok as long as you are sensible and walk on the correct side of the road.
For those who don't know: you should walk on the right-hand side of the road (so as to face on-coming traffic) apart from at blind bends and summits - cross over early before getting to these.
For those who already knew that: Woohoo! :-)
I'd happily stay there again.
