A beautiful location and a very clean well kept site.
Quite close to the train line but that isn't much of an issue overnight.
You have to walk along the lane to get to a footpath to Edal or elsewhere but not too far.

I have been welcomed kindly on my arrival, all facilities have been shown to me with clear instructions and directions. Later on we had a chat on my wander around the campsite.
It was such a positive experience. Thank you.

We liked the toilet blocks clean showers good washing up area clean
Walks from site Train station 10min walk pub 15min walk
Disliked
No dog walk on site had to walk along road
Chemical disposal very basic just a manhole you remove no hose to rinse
We will definitely visit again owner pleasant and polite and your left alone once pitched
It’s a working farm so lots of animal noises but loved it
Train line is few hundred yards away but didn’t bother us they do run late into the night but we did have good nights sleep
Field is uneven so you do need levellers
Very enjoyable stay

Lovely peaceful site with gorgeous views of Mam Tor. The railway line didn't bother me and there was no noise from the road.
Jen was very friendly and stopped to chat whilst she was doing her rounds.
Toilets are cleaned regularly throughout the day and two sinks for pot washing in a covered area. I put tent down and packed up then had a free shower before setting off home.
Only 5 minutes walk on a cut through from the train station but slightly longer on the main road.
All units are on the outskirts of the fields so no one is blocking anyones view.
Thanks Jen for a lovely stay

Excellent location with stunning views.
Very quiet other than sheep and regular trains nearby which didn't disturb us at all.
Fairly flat. Probably best approached from Hope not Barber Booth and pass through Mam Tor. No hook-up available.
Short walk over fields to Edale

Great site for exploring Mam Tor and surrounding area. Mostly grass pitches which I like and spaced out well.
Friendly staff, good facilities, toilets, shower and washing up sinks. Kept clean and tidy.
Site could get boggy if it gets lots of rain. Train track nearby if that sort of thing annoys you, I thought it was okay. Will I use again - YES.
