My son and I liked the size of the meadow and the flat level, that our position was sunny and not shaded out by trees.
The peace and quiet and clear rules about noise levels, quiet by 10pm, was ideal for a good nights kip.
We found the toilet area basic but adequate and always clean, the shower was adequate with a nice water temperature but less suitable for females.
I can imagine this area could get busy in the height of season. We found the outdoor washing up area excellent with great water pressure and proper hot water for washing up dirty dishes effectively.
The setting of the camp is just idyllic, beautiful and quiet, set beside the tumbledown farm buildings and machinery with sheep grazing in meadows beyond.
The location is perfect with easy short walks through grazing pastures along to Edale village or Edale station which have excellent cafes, and other amenities.
Fabulous walking opportunities in all directions. We received a friendly welcome and departure.
Thankyou Waterside Farm for a simple yet relaxing and peaceful camp.

Nice campsite. But wet underfoot in some places.
Manager really welcoming.
Wash room clean and tidy.
Hot water for washing up too, which I don't remember from my last stay here many years ago.

Brilliant campsite. Very clean. Very polite.
It’s the second time I’ve stayed here and will definitely be returning.
Just outside of edale, beautiful sights to wake up to and go to sleep with.
