 We had a lovely stay at Waterside.

Perfect location, welcoming hosts, and a great campsite with clean facilities.

Edale is an ideal location and the campsite is right next to the village with access to two pubs and a shop, and also access to lots of walking routes.

 Lovely low key farm campsite with great views and basic but good facilities.

Clean toilets and hot shower with good pressure.

Easy walk into Edale village.

Very close to train line, but noise didn’t bother me at all.

Only suggestion for improvement is recycling bins - couldn’t see any, so took mine home.

 Lovely little campsite, very quiet spot and short walk to Edale pubs and railway station and obviously all the direct access high level walking.

We didn’t find the campsite noisy at all from the railway (as we have read in other reviews).

No ‘phone or internet connection at all (Vodaphone) but I actually enjoyed going offline for a couple of days!

Clean toilet block with a warm shower.

Certainly recommend this site to others.

 The valley is beautiful;

There are plenty of footpath of various length nearby, where we can walk;

At the campsite, we have received everything that was promised on the website;

The site is nice and tidy, the bins are frequently emptied;

We have spent three three great days there.

 Lovely scenic campsite. Really nice owners. Clean hot showers/toilets.

Short walk into the village and good location if hiking to kinder or mam tor. Lots of different walking routes flat or hills.

2 pubs ramblers and nags head both so food/ reasonably priced drinks. Just one general store in village so best to stock up before arrival.

I would definitely stay here again - really good value for money too.

 Great little campsite located in a very picturesque valley. 10 minute drive from castleton, with lots of walks to been done.

2 cracking pubs just up the road (the ramblers and the nags head) with in walking distance that do good food. Be mindful they stop serving food at 7:45.

Check in was quick, Mark and his Mum very friendly. We only stayed one night but paid for 2 as there was a min 2 night booking, but still only worked out as £20 pp.

If you want lap of luxury this isn't the site for you. If you want a lovely peaceful night or two away in nature, great views with easy access to walks etc, then this place does the job.

We will certainly be stopping again.

 Lovely site and a great base for exploring Edale area.

Toilet block with a shower is simple but regularly checked and cleaned.

It was a busy weekend but quiet and well-organised.

It’s a half mile walk into the village along the road or via a footpath from the train station.
