Excellent weekend away, cant say anything that hasn't been said already, great large private pitch, with water electric and bins, didn't think there would be enough toilets and showers for so many caravans but didn't see anyone waiting to go in, even with the covid restrictions
After setting up we thought we would put up our sun canopy, we don't cook inside but the pole was bent and broke, we asked Jan if there was some broken poles left behind from someone and when we got back Stephen had fixed it ready for use, now that's a personal service, deserving of a 10 score
Hopefully next time the coffee shop and reception will be open
We highly recommend this site as their friendly can't do enough cheerful attitude is a pleasure to see

Peace and relaxation! We stayed at the end of July and everything was done remotely, arrive at the gate and check in, given pitch number and gate opened for us ( you have to text when you get to your pitch then the exit code is given).
Payment by phone or bank transfer. Good sized pitch with hedges, own bin and tap. There is a dog walk on the site.
Facilities are excellent, good showers and toilets etc. Etc. Everywhere is lovely and clean, tidy and communal areas regularly sanitised. The on site cafe/reception was closed.
We walked to the nearest pub ( 20 minute walk) for an evening meal, Parks Inn, excellent food and choice of beers etc, good social distancing observed and plenty of hand sanitiser on offer, very well looked after by staff.
Just before the pub is a little shop and fish and chip shop, there is also a farm shop on the same road. Bus stops are right outside the site, we caught the bus to Buxton, lots to see and do.
This site is an example of how a site should be, would love to go back.

We have just returned from 4 nights at Clover Fields adults only site. The site is exceptionally well kept and the toilets blocks are immaculate.
The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. In the the current difficult times the owners are working exceptionally hard to keep everyone safe by sanitizing all touch points on a regular basis, even the dustbin lids were sanitized.
The pitches are a good size and offer a good degree of privacy and each pitch has its own water tap. There is also a fishing pond on site that appeared to be well used.
The site is secured by coded keypad barriers which also have hand sanitizers attached to the post. This site is a credit to the owners and they deserve praise and reward for all their hard work in keeping the site safe for everyone during these difficult times.
We will definitely visit again.

Nothing to dislike.
Liked having proper showers and not having to press a button every 10 seconds to get water. The facilities are excellent.
Bus stop to town right outside the gates

Great site! The pitch was flat and level and had electric, water and waste bin provided for each pitch.
Pitches are separated by mature beech hedges which give good privacy. The toilets, showers and laundry facilities were spotlessly clean and equipped to a very high standard, lovely and warm in the December cold weather!
The site is well situated for exploring the Peak district. One minor point - the shop and cafe is not open during the winter period.
We will definitely be staying again!

We stayed for two very rainy days and nights in November in order to go and see a concert at the Buxton Opera House.
Clover Fields is a lovely site and staffed by welcoming, friendly and knowledgable owners.
We were parked on plot 12 which is close to the toilets, showers, washing, and waste disposal points.
The plots themselves are well serviced, in our case with electricity, water, and rubbish bins actually on the plot itself.
The toilet and shower blocks look from the outside a bit rough as they are wooden buildings but are a revelation once you go inside.
Beautifully fitted out and spotlessly clean, absolutely beautiful.
A lovely site all round and one I would recommend and will be visiting again.

What a lovely place to stop. Staff are so friendly and very helpful.
You get a large hard standing pitch. Toilet block was small but was very very clean and the showers are great.
The only downside was the cafe was closed for winter, it would have been good to have been told when booking but it does mean we will have to go back in the new summer to try that.

Quite simply the best caravan site in Britain.
Very welcoming, lovely owners. So helpful when my wife broke her ankle.
Quite sheltered, individual pitches with hook-up and water.
Two spotless toilet blocks
Secure site behind coded electronic gates.
Bus stops right outside the entrance for services to Buxton, Bakewell, Hartington, Ashbourne, Matlock. Good connections in town for other places.
Not the cheapest site in th ebook, but you do get what you pay for here. Went five times this year and have been going regularly since 2007. Will be regulars in 2020.

A warm welcome on a blustery rainy Derbyshire day said a lot about the site.
Well laid out with good sized level pitches and a toilet/ shower block that some hotels ought to be jealous of.
Even a small shop and cafe on site too.
All in all, definitely recommended.
