Just want to re-iterate what others have said really this is a really superb campsite and sets the bar very high for others to try and follow. Large private pitches each with its own electric, water and waste bins the site was full when we visited but because of the way the pitches are laid out it didn't feel at all crowded. We had breakfast at the tea room on the Saturday morning - excellent food and really good value for money they will also deliver to your pitch if you prefer you can have newspapers delivered as well which is a nice touch. The facilities are second to none large shower rooms with underfloor heating always spotlessly clean and they are building more for next year. The owners are very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. This was our 2nd visit to the site we last went in 2011 not long after they had become an AO site and it was great to see the changes they had made, we will definitely be back and won't leave it as long this time.

We can't fault this park - if we could give 11 out of 10 we would.
The location is great - easy access on and off and plenty of places to visit, walks to take and cycling to do.
The layout of the park and the hedges between the pitches meant that the site never felt crowded - even though it was pretty full when we stayed; the pitches are also very generously sized.
The facilities are excellent, very clean, with lots of appreciated thoughtful additional touches. The park itself is immaculate with lovely surroundings.
The shop is well stocked and good value for money - for once we never had to shop for any groceries in town.
We ate in the cafe and the food was excellent and again good value for money; we also had food delivered to the van - what a superb service!
The owners and family are so friendly and hospitable and just can't do enough for you.
We can see why people return to this site again and again - we have no doubt that we will visit again.

This campsite is a real gem and it's conveniently-located to explore the Buxton area. I cannot add anything unique to my review that others before me have not mentioned, except to echo the sentiments on how well Clover Fields are doing to provide a top-notch camping experience.
You really get the feeling that nothing is too much trouble for the owners of this site. They keep the toilets and showers very warm, clean and well-stocked. Someone was always available in the camp shop to happily answer questions about tourist attractions, local walks, best routes into town or they were also up for a bit of a friendly chat. They are all real people-people.
What was also apparent to me was that their facilities were obviously designed by people who camp! A heated drying room helped us to dry our clothes after a wet and blustery walk. Little luxuries in the toilet block such as lotion, shower gel and sweets made us feel like we were staying in a spa or boutique hotel. The camp shop was the best-stocked shop I've ever been to, on a campsite. Prices were VERY competitive with any local supermarket and I would have been happy to spend more money here simply because there was no price gauging going on anywhere.
Simply put, Clover Fields will likely be a success because they know what their customers want, they provide it at a good price and with a smile. I would not hesitate to recommend this adult-only site to anyone.

We had a great midweek break at Clover Fields, despite poor summer weather.
The reception staff were extremely helpful, and happy to help with any issue that we were stuck with. We had a lovely level pitch adjacent to our friends who arrived the following day.
Laundry, potwashing, WC and shower facilities were absolutely fab! No queues, luxury facilities worthy of a decent hotel.
Newspapers, breakfast and evening meals could be delivered directly to your pitch - a boon for the dog owners, and there's a weekend cafe too. The Ploughman's was a joy to behold!
Local takeaways are also happy to deliver to your pitch.
The only down side for us was the weather, which no-one could have helped! Strong winds and driving rain mid July, but the place was so good, it didn't really matter.
Decent dog walk, and plenty of bags and bins - no excuse for anyone to leave a mess. ;)

Had very pleasant 3 nights here. Site owners always willing to be of assistance. Used intercom at security gate and given directions to pitch, where we were met within a few minutes and given all necessary information. Site facilities first class. Owners are in the process of building more toilets/showers. On site cafe gets very busy when it opens at 5pm for evening meals. Ordered takeaway from cafe which was delivered to caravan although took an hour due to being busy. Very reasonable prices in the shop. Would definitely recommend this site, you won't be dissapointed.

So many reviewers have gone into a lot of detail as to how amazing Clover Fields is, and I can only endorse what others have said.
For us Clover Fields was the last site of a three week, five site tour of Cheshire, North Wales, Lake District, York and finally Derbyshire. We will have a lasting memory of Clover Fields as an excellent site with some of the best facilities we have seen. From the outside they look like dark wooden buildings, but step inside and you find yourself in very luxurious surroundings.
Our pitch was on the higher level and was huge. I parked the caravan in front first as I did not have a extension for my water hose, but I could have parked my car inline easily behind my 23' van.
We stayed mid week so missed out on the Sunday Lunch, so our next stay will be there over a weekend. Jan, Stephen, Jodie and Tom are all real genuine people, people, the sort we love so we will be back.

I want some of what this family are on! they never seem to stop. This site is lovely and I wish I could find one like it in Norfolk. The showers are great, you have the water at the temperature you want and with the rain head you come out feeling showered and not hassled at having to keep pressing a button.
The site is in a good position for touring the Peak District. Buxton was nice, Bakewell lovely, and of course the puddings. We had a meal on site which was very good value and tasty and lovely to have a drink, and just walk back to your van. Nearby is the Church Inn, which we ate at three times in the week which was also very good. We had a lovely week and would not hesitate to return, in fact, we didn't want to come home.
All of the family are wonderful, they are all so lovely and very helpful. Being adults only was nice, I love my grandchildren dearly, but it is nice to have a holiday with no young ones. We went by train to Manchester to do the Coronation Street tour which is good for any corrie fans.
Wasn't impressed by the cheese shop at Hartington, but the village itself is pretty. Snake pass worth a drive along and the Ladybower resovoir is a lovely place to chill out. Wanted to go to Dovedale and Pooles Cavern but didn't get time, which gives me an excuse to return to this wonderful site. Thanks to Jan, Steve, Jodie and family for making our holiday special.

Our first visit this year to our favourite site - and it's got better!
The cafe/shop/reception block that we have watched 'Bodgit & Scarper' labour on over the last two to three years is complete and fully functional. Meals are offered 3 - 4 nights a week, whilst breakfasts are also provided on a similar number of days. Coffees etc. Are also served. Quality is excellent (well done Stephen & Jodie!) and prices are competitive. Portions are HUGE! Booking for Sunday lunch or dinner is essential!
The site now has 48 pitches - all Adult only and with hook-ups. The new pitches at the top of the site are spacious and there is a new toilet block partially complete adjacent to these pitches. Quite a number of pitches are taken on a seasonal basis, so booking is essential.
Clover Fields makes an excellent base for visiting the Peak District, Derbyshire Dales, Staffordshire Moorlands, Cheshire Plains and even Manchester if you are so masochistic! Buxton is a pleasant little Victorian town that we never tire of. Buses into town stop just outside the gate, but are not too frequent.
The welcome 'home', as always, was profuse, and Stephen, Jan, Jodie, and Thomas are always happy to chat.
We have already booked to go back later in the year, but may well try and get another visit in before. Clover Fields is just so magnetic.

Just spent a brilliant week at cloverfields in our folding camper and we have to say this is the best site in the UK. The bitches are large enough to fit your unit, awning and still have your large grass area to sit and watch the world go by. On arrival we where shown to our pitch by Tom and given a overview of the site. The site owners Stephen and Jan are such genuine lovely people along with their daughter Jodie and son Tom. Food can be delivered to your pitch, we had a sunday lunch which was perfect, a breakfast and a plaughmans both also exellent. The site facilities are top notch, always having hot water. We found being able to add items from the shop and cafe to your bill was a brilliant idea so you pay at the end of your stay. Easy access from the road, we were not bothered about the slight road noise which he can hardly hear. The best thing about cloverfields is the owners and their staff who always go that extra mile to make your stay perfect. We feel that we have made a new set of friends. Thanks Stephen, Jan, Jodie and Tom. Regards emsj1973

This was our first time staying at this beautiful site. We opted for one of their super tent pitches which come with your own water supply and an electric hookup. We were located right next to a small fishing pond which is well stocked with young carp and roach (hubby made the most of this during our stay).
The toilet / shower facilities are excellent and the little extras that the owners make available are a nice touch. The site also benefits from a shop and cafe which offer good value for money supplies and some rather tasty food!
The owners are so friendly that you feel very much part of the family.
Buxton is close at hand as are various walks in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside.
All in all, the best site we have ever stayed at. Well done and we will be back :-)
