Very nice site, well spaced pitches, in summer when the hedges are in full leaf very private,
Lovely area for walking, bus stop just outside site for Buxton and Matlock which we used, very good service.
The site was ideal for our purposes, felt it could do with better toilet /shower facilities, ok at this time of year but when site full could be a bit of a wait.
Apart from this we really enjoyed our stay and will be returning.

Arriving at the site we could tell that it was very well looked after. Jan met us on the way in and took us to some pitches and said choose your own We decided on 13 a very spacious pitch which had good privacy with hedges on each side.
The pitch had its own fresh water, EHU and waste bin. This is a very quiet site and the road traffic noise wasn't a problem at all. We thought that the quarry train was cute, hearing it at intervals throughout the day.
The facilities were immaculate. I can only comment on the Accessible bathroom but it was superb and the shower great. A nice touch was a bench in there to sit and get dried and dressed on.
There is a small coarse fishing pond. The bus stop is outside a pedestrian entrance.
We didn't go anywhere just used the time to relax in the fresh air and peaceful atmosphere.
We will certainly return.

Lovely site. Spotlessly clean showers and toilets.
Large tent pitches with own tap and bin was really useful.
Will definitely return. Hopefully the cafe will reopen next year.

Great stay. We had a very warm and friendly welcome. The lady came out to our car to greet us and told us everything we needed to know about the site & also gave us leaflets about things to do in the surrounding area.
We were allocated a pitch half grass half gravel good size we opted for fully serviced.
Each pitch has individual bin which is emptied every couple days.
Shower room clean and tidy.
Nice quiet site apart from the yapping dogs at times but no reflection on the site.
Would definitely recommend & would not hesitate to stay again.

Jan met us on arrival, great lady, down to earth, great sense of humour.
The fully serviced pitches were partitioned by hedging, giving you privacy and you had your own bin, which was nice.
Toilet block and showers were excellent and clean and fresh.
A little annoying dog barking on the lower levels quite often and just left to bark by the dogs owner, but hey, there are selfish people wherever you go. Most of the big dogs were well behaved.
Jan was very helpful with things to do and places to go and always stopped for a chat with me and the mrs.
Site was kept nice and clean and tidy and bins emptied regularly.
