Fabulous site, very well maintained. A little bit out of the way if you like being near to pubs and facilities.
Really nice pub about a mile or so walking.
The site and facilities are brilliant.
Clean and very well maintained.
Dogs MUST be on lead, which for us was slightly annoying as our dog doesn't go far, but loves to chase his ball and never bothers anyone- but hey ho!

Very nice and peaceful. Adults only site meant no noise, just the sheep in the next field.
Perfect site for the Peak District!
Lovely site with very good facilities!
We will be visiting again!

Lovely well kept site, could do with more ladies toilets only one in one of the blocks.
Pity the shop and cafe is no longer open.
Good bus service right outside the site.
Will go again in the future.

Beautiful site, with very clean facilities, added features, were a lovely pond. And surrounding the pitches were trees of every species. Waking up to the dawn chorus was an added bonus.
Just off the site is a bus stop on either side, , to Buxton, Matlock, Bakewell and other places of interest. A rest from driving and parking.
Owners are very courteous and helpful.

This campsite is first class! So welcoming and friendly.
Beautiful views, with close proximity to many wonderful places to visit.
The campsite is well set out with good size pitches.
Well what can I say about both toilets and showed?
Soooooo clean and tidy. I’m a bit fussy usually but I cannot fault anything!
Definitely will be returning in the future.

Another great stay at Cloverfields.
As alway the facilities were always clean and are some of the best available anywhere we have stayed.
Pitches are very generous compared to some we have stayed at.
Regardless of pitch type you get water fill point on the pitch as well as your own rubbish bin.
Site always kept very well.

A lovely friendly welcome from the owner with a map with our name on it waiting for us.
Facilities were spotless. A tea room not yet open but under construction which will be lovely when done. Also more showers under construction too.
Customer service from the owner Mark was excellent; we felt very welcome and our custom valued. Nothing was too much trouble.
Bus stop was outside. Our best trip out was to Bakewell which is a lovely town. There are lots of walking and cycling trails. I noticed a few comments about traffic noise from other reviews.
You could hear the traffic in the background but it honestly did not bother us in the slightest; I didn't really notice it until I remembered it had been mentioned!
Our pitches with friends had been reserved and we were put together. I liked the fact that the site was very quiet despite being full. Hedges either side of your pitch gave privacy.
He whole site was immaculately maintained.

We've just spent a lovely couple of nights at Cloverfields during the Jubilee Bank Holiday break.
Despite being fully booked the site was quiet and peaceful and very well maintained. The toilets and showers were excellent.
The pitches are a really good size, ours had water and was separated from the next pitch with a hedge. Only slight gripe was it wasn't very easy to get a decent phone or 4g signal from this pitch (number 2) but could get it by walking up to the lovely lake a bit further up the site. No big issue, everything else was great.
We went to the Beacon lighting at Solomon's Temple and walked to Pooles Cavern and Buxton after parking at the Country Park at Grin Low. (£2 all day parking by honesty box).
We've really enjoyed the visit and would definitely return again.
