What can I say! We have visited many sites in our time, but this is the best by far. The pitches are very large, plenty of space for caravan, awning, car and space to sit out in the sun (when its out!), rubbish bin and recycling facilities also at pitch side. The shop is immaculate and well stocked, newspapers delivered to your pitch every day. The cafe, which is new and having a few trial runs at the moment is fantastic, beautiful cakes and bacon sandwiches, unfortunately missed afternoon tea as we were moving on that day, but I'm sure this would have been great too. Attention to detail in every aspect of the cafe, shop, site and facilities is amazing, I cannot find enough words to praise it. A bonus for us were the free range chickens and ducks, the very friendly donkeys and the elusive alpacas!
The owners and their family are the friendliest and most helpful we have ever come across, they are so proud of their site and so they should be, Jody's cakes were wonderful and they have all put so much effort into making your stay an enjoyable one.
The only downside to our stay was that we had to leave as we were moving on to another site, but we will be back next year, well done to you all.

This site is without a doubt the best site we have been on. Everything was superb, the toilets pristine, the site well maintained, the new cafe was beautiful, and all the staff who run it couldn't do enough for us. They are all family and treat you like family. All the people staying on this site seem to be nice as everyone we met smiled and chatted to us. Never before have I seen dog stations around the site each with poo bags, gloves and hand sanitiser supplied for you free of charge. They go the extra mile for you. They even deliver a paper to your van if you want one. I will be back and highly reccomend this adult only and dog friendly site

What a wonderful site. Made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Jan & family are so friendly and simply cant do enough to help. The shower and toilet block and indeed the whole site is kept wonderfully clean and tidy and even shower gel is there in the showers. On the dog walk, poo bags and gloves are provided. There is now a cafe that has just opened (for trial run at time of writing) serving bacon butties and high teas on selected days. Jans daughter did the home made scones and they are wonderful. A top class baker in the making. Really good food and good value. The on site shop is well stocked and there is also a village shop about a mile away if the site shop hasn't got what you need. Buxton is about 5 mins drive away but not really impressed by it.
Overall this is probably the best site we have stayed at. Cant wait to go back. Thanks Jan and family

Just back from a 5 night stay at this beautiful site, went to do some walking and just relax with our dog, first of all love the adult only sites anyway but this was lovely huge pitches with ehu, tap, bin and night light for each pitch a lovely dog exercise area with 5 star facilities spotless showers and toilets this site is very well planned out. The shop sold everything you needed from a-z. With coded security gates allowing you in and out of the park we felt very safe, attached to the shop is the newly built cafe which will be a huge success when people taste Jody's cakes. But for us the best thing about this site is the family that run it mum, dad and kids couldn't do enough for you always busy and about maintaining the park and cleaning, we will definitely be going back here next season there is nothing to improve on here wish all sites were as nice as this one.

Initially booked because of the fact that the site is adult only and that the super electric/water pitches were available for tents for the first time this year and not just caravans, we weren't disappointed.
We stayed on another site in the local area a couple of years ago but Clover Fields as a site is far superior.
Unlike a lot of camping sites the owners don't come across as money grabbing but delight in seeing their clientele enjoy their stay, no rushing people on and off the site with timescales!
Booking was easy and a surprise that we didn't have to pay a deposit, we paid for our stay as we left.
If there was any complaint it's is minor on our part, the water to wash greasy dishes could have been hotter!
We will return.

Our main reason for choosing this site was that it was adult only (school holidays) and the excellent reviews and we definitely weren't disappointed.
We have a large six man tent and sometimes find marked out pitches a bit of a squeeze but there was no such problems here, lovely large pitches with loads of room for tent, car and space, electric hook up water on tap and a waste bin, which we thought was a great touch, no traipsing to the bins every day.
The owners were extremely friendly, it was lovely not having to pay a deposit, and even on arrival there was no hassle to pay there and then, we wandered up after a couple of days, so nice to be trusted.
A well stocked little shop, which sells fab ice cream! And the cafe will be a nice addition when it's open.
Lovely clean toilet blocks, loved the fact that the showers were large wet rooms so we could go in together, next time we won't bring two separate lots of toiletries which will save on the packing space. Only two showers but we never had to wait, our only criticism is the fact that the mens only had one toilet, hubby found it rather frustrating that every time he wanted to go someone was in there so he had to wait and then he knew someone was waiting for him to finish!
Buxton was a lovely place to visit, and we did loads of walking and geocaching while we were up there, we will definitely return.
Thank you for such a lovely site

We have just had a lovely, relaxing 4 day visit to this site and echo all the previous comments.
Superb reception from Jodie, the facilities are kept spotlessly clean at all times. The site is very well maintained, beautifully landscaped a really lovely site. The little extras as individual water, waste and recycling bins were appreciated.
I found Buxton very pleasant and interesting and could have spent the whole day there if not concerned about leaving my Dogs in the car. Some really good walks all within easy distance.
Would definitely return and recommend. Thank you for a relaxing break.

We have just had a fortnight at Cloverfields in our new inflatable tent it was the first time we had used it. We had been before but In a caravan. The owners Jan & Stephen & daughter Jodie were very pleased to see us back yet again. , the site is immaculate & the tent pitch accommodated our 33ft tent easily with loads of room spare. Each pitch has electric and water even the tent pitches. The showers are immaculate and even though there were only 2 there wasn't any queueing but we were told a second block is on the cards. The toilets were always clean and tidy & a little table with hand cream and sanitizer plus a bowel of sweets were always available. The staff couldn't do enough for you and went out of their way to help you in any way they could.
Whilst there we visited Leek which is a small market town & is about 40 minutes from the site. Also Bakewell which is also a market town & has a farmers market on a monday.
Although the weather was terrible we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the site and will be returning again. Thanks again Jan, Stephen, Jodie & Tom hope to return soon.

We have just returned from our second visit to this lovely site. Once again we were overwhelmed by the fantastic welcome from the site owners and their family. They simply cannot do enough for you. The facilities are excellent. The pitches are large, easy to access with a caravan, with hedges and grass well maintained.
The toilet and shower blocks are spotless and well equipped, not only with piped water but piped music! There are only two shower rooms at present but the owners tell us they are building another toilet/shower block. Having said that we had no problems with getting a shower when we wanted one. My only comment would be that it would be nice to have a private wash cubicle in the block.
A new shop/office has been built on site and the prices compare well with shops in Buxton. The produce is mainly local and very good quality.
The site is well placed not only for the spa town of Buxton but other attractions in the Peak District.
We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 10 nights at the beginning of August. The site is pretty central for all the usual places to visit, only 2 miles from Buxton so very handy for food shopping although the site shop has a good selection of essentials.
The showers and toilets are the best we've seen and we've been camping for 20 years! Slight drawback is that there are only 2 showers so unless you get up early you will have to wait a while. However there are plans to build another block which should make a big difference.
The owners are so helpful, nothing is to much trouble, they will even deliver your milk and paper to you pitch! We loved Bakewell and Castleton, well worth a visit. For free WiFi visit The Wye Bridge (Weatherspoons) in Buxton.
We tried really hard to find something we didn't like about this site, without success, we will definitely be going back.
