Excellent site with great showering facilities.
Very helpful owners - allowed me to check in early so that I could get on with visiting all my friends out of the town.
I have used the site before - it is lovely and quiet and very dog friendly with a specific dog walking area.
We will be back again in October!

Great adult only site
Only one negative is the noise from the lorries travelling to and from the nearby Quarry which begins around 4am. You defo need ear plugs.

Easy to get to. Friendly welcome from Jan. Clean facilities. Nice to have a dogwalk on site.
Easily accessible, level pitches.
Supermarket a short drive away.
It was too hot to explore the area on foot in the heatwave but seems a good base if you have a car with you.
Looks like some new facilities are about to be added.

A lovely site to stay at, being an adult only site peace and quite was the order of the day. Plenty of hot water for the showers, and so clean and well kept.
Separate area for the dogs which is secure to give them a run around and meet other dogs who were staying.
Buxton and Bakewell so easy to get too from this site.
We did try to use the local buses both to Buxton and Bakewell but ended up having to use the car as they never turned up, which was disappointing.
Nothing was to much trouble for the owner.

Each pitch had high hedges on both sides, giving a lovely sense of privacy.
The shower, toilets and utilities rooms were great - the shower rooms were particularly good: lots of space and good strong water flow from the shower head.
The only slight downside (& to be fair I should have realised this from the OS map) was the busy road right beside the site.
By evening, traffic on the road had quietened considerably, so it was peaceful and my sleep wasn't disturbed (& I'm a light sleeper. )
Jan, the owner, was friendly and helpful.
The website did say the shop and cafe are currently closed, so that came as no surprise.
Overall, it was a very good, adults only, site.

Very well looked after site.
Jan was very helpful and friendly, always smiling and ready to chat and help with bus timetables etc.
Pitches very spacious, with own bin, water and waste.
Toilets spotless and plenty of them.
Will certainly return if in area again

As we drove up to the security gates you could tell straight away that this caravan park was looked after.
We were greeted by the owner Jan and immediately bonded, she was such a lovely lady and worked very hard always driving up and down mowing or cleaning emptying the bins nothing was too much trouble for her she’s an inspiration.
The site was beautifully kept the toilets are immaculate it was always the additional go the extra mile hand wash hand cream cotton buds always smelt beautiful,
The shower block was the same beautifully kept easy to use none of this push the button and then it stops you actually was able to have a lovely shower.
You were close proximity to everything you needed, and jan also gave us the local bus routes which was right outside even better.
My husband and I had booked a helicopter ride about 12 minutes ride down the road so it was an ideally situated.
We will definitely be coming again and look forward to meeting jan again top marks for this beautiful caravan park you won’t be disappointed

This was a fantastic campsite with exceptional facilities.
The toilet block was almost spa like with regards to its cleanliness and overall appearance.
The owner was very welcoming and accommodating and handed us a very useful information pack on arrival also informing us of a local village fete which we attended and enjoyed on the Saturday.
Well kept pitches and lovely relaxing atmosphere.
A rare find and one we’ll be taking advantage of again in the future
