This is a fantastic site and despite pouring rain for our entire stay we had a fabulous time thanks to Jan and superb facilities. Loved the large showers where you actually had room to get changed and the individual water supply and bins on each pitch.
We will be regular visitors as we appreciated the well stocked shop the tearoom and all the personal touches that made us feel welcome. Dog owners will love the walks. Adults only site so not for families with children
Just don't forget your hairdryer if you need one and unfortunately this delightful site has no wifi but there is so much to do you really won't miss it and a lot of the pubs in town have open wifi
Matlock Bath with cable cars and olde world shops a must visit as is Bakewell market.
Congratulations to Jan and family for making this my favourite site to date and one that we are looking forward to revisiting this year and for years to come

We visited this site for the first time last week to spend a few days with family who live in the local area.
What a wonderful place to stay. The site is clean, secure, well thought out, plenty of space and privacy between the units, an absolutely fabulous, top notch showers/ wash room facilities, always spotlessly clean, hot water in abundance and the owners and staff were all extremely polite and helpful. There is a delightful shop and tea room on the site too selling everything you need and they even order papers in for you if you require them, which they offer to deliver to your unit.
I will give this site 100 out of 10 for the friendliness, access, security, facilities. A well thought out excellent site. Thankyou Jan and staff from Alison and Phil

Just returned from a stay on this wonderful site.
Weather abysmal, continual rain and wind like you have never seen, but welcome super warm.
Facilities second to none, and more to come as I was shown around a new toilet and shower block under construction. We have yet to meet more accommodating and friendly owners
We will be returning.
There's nowt you can do about the weather.

Just returned from another wonderful visit to Clover Fields. Yet again a fantastic stay in beautiful surrounding, all facilities absolutely excellent as usual and kept to the highest standard you could ever wish to find. Delightful Cafe open for oustanding breakfasts on Sat and Sun Morning, we had one before we left and didn't need to eat again until the next day! Owned and run by the most helpful and friendliest hosts you could wish to find, nothing is too much trouble and you feel like you've known them for ages.
Can't wait to go back again!

I don't want to focus on all the good points as you would probably have already read them by now.
I want to point out a few negatives so we get a full picture.
The site is very clean and tidy and owners great so no issues there at all. What I was very surprised of is to why the site gets a full 10 for everything. The breakfast area had only just been opened, the new toilet facility was only just opened yet incomplete. There is nothing within walking distance like a pub or even a country walk or shops. Sometimes when you have been out for the day its nice to walk to a local pub and have a pint or to the shops to get supplies but you have to drive to anything, its not too much hassle but a negative for me.
No wifi, and yes even whilst we are away some of us have to access wifi for work etc. Tv reception not too great to say its in the open, we did manage ok but took several attemps to get a few channels. 3g and mobile phone signal very poor.
Like I said before, these are only negatives and there are plenty of positives about the site, I just feel that to earn 10/10 for reviews all these should be as a standard.
Would I stop again? No, because of the reasons explained and no other.

This was our first visit to Cloverfields and I can definitely say that it will not be our last. The site is by far the best that we have ever stayed on. The facilities are all spotlessly clean. The shower and toilet blocks are modern, well equipped - with special touches like shower gel, cotton wool pads, sweets and hand lotions. The whole park is well maintained. The pitches are large and all separated by hedges which gives an added feeling of privacy and makes it feel like you have your own little part of the park just for yourself. The newly opened cafe serves the best bacon rolls and Full English Breakfasts. The owners and their whole family are really lovely and nothing seems to be too much trouble - we were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. The site is located a short drive to Buxton and Castleton and the surrounding scenery is just beautiful. Can't wait to return and hopefully spend a few more days there next time we visit.

My husband and I have just returned from a five day stay at Clover Fields Touring Park. What a fantastic site. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and their family, who were so friendly and accommodating. In all our years of touring, Clover Fields gets my award for the best toilet and shower block! The toilet block was so clean with masses of hot water, large cubicles, soap dispensers and electric paper towel dispensers. The spacious wet rooms had shower gel dispensers and large shower heads which provided a fabulous shower to start the day. With hedges between the large pitches providing privacy, this well run site ensured that our stay was relaxing and a joy. Thank you.

This was our first visit to this fabulous site. The owners were very accommodating. Newspapers were delivered to our unit each day; the shop was well stocked; the tea rooms looked lovely although we did not try this out. The toilet rooms were spotless and it was nice to have piped music! The little touches were also nice such as cotton wool balls, hand sanitizer and cotton buds. The non touch paper towel dispenser was great and did not get stuck. The two shower rooms were kept clean and there was plenty of hot water. The extractor fans did not appear to be working so the rooms got very steamed up which made towels/clothes a little damp. And there are only two, which was fine as the site was not full. The site was kept very clean. Jan, one of the owners told us about the plans for another toilet/shower block and there was evidence that the work had begun. This did not cause any disruption to anyone using the site. We walked in the surrounding area but did not go into Buxton which was approx 3 miles away by car. On leaving, we paid our bill and we were given our daily newspapers, 3 papers, as a complimentary gift! The donkeys and Alpaca were inquisitive! Other site users were polite. This was a lovely site. A bit like being in a hotel!

FANTASTIC just came back from a lovely 3 night break at this site. The site is immaculate, grass nice length, EHU & water to each pitch (if EHU is requested), hedging for privacy and shelter. Toilet and shower facilities spotless, extra touches such as cotton balls and buds, baby lotion. Only two shower rooms but we didn't ever have to wait! (New block being built I believe). The shop is well stocked and not overpriced at all.
The family who run Cloverfields certainly go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect, they are such nice people. We were fortunate to be able to sample their afternoon tea, a new venture they started that weekend, which we would strongly recommend (very large so go hungry)! Will definitely be returning.

Wow what a site, definitely the best we've been on. The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners Jan, Stephen, Jodie and the rest of the family was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and their enthusiasm about their site was lovely to see. The showers and toilets were immaculate at all times of the day and the extras such as hand cream, hand gel, cotton buds, cotton wool balls, sweets and shower gel were lovely touches which we have never seen on any other site. The pitches were lovely and large with ehu, water, and waste and recycling bins on each pitch. We were fortunate to be there for the opening of the cafe for a trial run and the bacon butties were superb and at £3 inc tea or coffee were exceptionally good value. We had a lovely meal at the Church Inn at Chelmorton and would recommend it to anyone looking for good pub food. We left Clover Fields feeling we had made new friends and have already booked two more breaks on this lovely site.
