Four nights very peaceful.
Great site and well looked after.
Mark the site manager welcomed us and showed us to out pitch.
Great pitches, well spaced out, facilities were first class.
Definitely will return.

I wish I could give this site 11/10, particularly for the friendliness and efficiency of Mark, the site manager. He keeps the site immaculately clean and tidy and can’t do enough to help.
On top of all that he keeps the toilets and showers the cleanest I have ever come across - they are spotlessly clean.
We will definitely return later in the season.
As others have said, the only downfall is the poor wi-fi reception.

Made very welcome on arrival, pitch (13) was ideal for us.
Facilities were very good and the staff very helpful.
Site is well maintained and the staff very helpful.
I highly recommend the site and will try to return in the near future.
We had no car but there is a bus stop ( both ways ) just outside the gate.

We had a 3 night May Day Bank Holiday stay on a super pitch at Clover Fields and thoroughly enjoyed it. We received a very warm welcome from the site manager, Mark, who directed us to our well kept pitch (45).
The pitch was very deep, so deep in fact that when leaving we were able to hitch up our large caravan and there was still nearly half a car length in front of the car and caravan. The hedged pitch was very private and had water, waste, EHU and a rubbish bin.
The site is very easy to access from decent roads - important when you're towing - and is set behind secure gates with a pin code. The toilet blocks are superb with shower rooms that wouldn't look out of place in a hotel.
There are special touches like nice toiletries, cotton buds, sanitary items etc in the toilet blocks and they are kept spotlessly clean. There is a small fishing pond on site which seemed popular and a great dog walk for your four-legged friends where gloves, sanitiser and dog bags are all provided.
The area is great with the Monsal and Tissington Trails, Buxton and Bakewell within easy reach. We had a lovely walk in Longnor which is just up the road.
As some other reviewers have written, you can hear some low road noise but you can also hear woodpeckers in the nearby woods.
This was our first visit to Clover Fields and it definitely won't be our last, especially as it is under an hour's drive from home for us.
Being adult only was great for us too now our kids are all grown up and don't holiday with us. As a schoolworker, it was a refreshing change to not have kids around.

Excellent staff (Mark) nothing was to much trouble. Toilets and showers were excellent, large wet rooms and kept very clean.
Site itself could be updated though. Nice large pitches although the grass did need cutting. Have stayed on better sites for the same amount of money. So did think it was overpriced.
Excellent location for Buxton and Bakewell though.

Fantastic site pitches are good size water on tap on your pitch.
Close to Buxton and Bakewell great little fishing pool.
The site is well maintained you have your own rubbish bins next to your pitch.
We would recommend the site to everyone.

Lovely warm welcome upon arrival. Great communication throughout booking.
Very peaceful site with each pitch having electric, water point and waste bin.
Shower/toilet facilities were exceptionally clean.
The site shop/cafe is currently closed but would be great when open.
Very dog friendly with an enclosed dog walk.
Would recommend and will be back soon.
